David Gregory went after the President hard, asking him why he is going down to Texas.
Q: What good could you do going down to the hurricane zone, might you get in the way Mr. President?
A: One thing I won't do is get in the way.
Q: Is this over compensation for the response to Katrina?
Bush defended himself pretty weakly. NBC News is now reporting that Bush will NOT go to Texas, but instead straight to Colorado. NorthCom here he comes.
