A trail of thousands of emails will not be very helpful to those that he implicates. Check out the email trail between Scanlon and Abramoff. This is a small sample, but the Hill knows there will be a lot of evidence against the ones he implicates because he just loved to email how great he was.

(Update): The Daily Delay has much more of the email trail-mix that will be crucial to the upcoming convictions.
