Patrick Kennedy and Rush Limbaugh
I hope everyone that suffers from an addiction recovers which is really a struggle no matter who you are. That being said, there is so much hypocrisy floating around about the two stories that I wanted to take a quick look at how Wolf Blitzer called the two.
on April 28th:
BLITZER: Happening now, breaking news. The conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh arrested on a prescription fraud charge.
BLITZER: We begin with breaking news. The most popular conservative talk show host of the United States, Rush Limbaugh, has been arrested in Florida on a prescription drug charge. Limbaugh turned himself in today....read on
Then this on May 5th:

An emotional and candid announcement just a short while ago, a day after Kennedy crashed his car on Capitol Hill. We're following this new setback for a member of America's most famous political family. Also breaking this hour, a spy agency mystery. Why did the CIA director, Porter Goss, suddenly call it quits? We're examining Goss' recent rocky tenure and the inside story of why he's resigning.
Porter Goss resigning is actually the second most important story of the day on Friday and then he added this:
BLITZER: "Now to that other bombshell announcement here in the nation's capitol, congressman Patrick Kennedy announcing he's entering rehab to get treatment for his addictions and his depression. The Rhode Island Democrat says he became deeply concerned after crashing his car into a barrier on Capitol Hill early yesterday. Kennedy says he's troubled because he doesn't remember the incident at all....read on"
The lead in to the Rush Limbaugh story is considered a "breaking story" which it is because of Rush's fame, but it's a bombshell when Patrick Kennedy checks himself into a rehab. I would think that Porter Goss resigning so abruptly would be the bombshell since the CIA is so important to our national security. Then add in the "Foggo story" on top of it and that's a BOMBSHELL. Patrick's story is obviously news because he's a Kennedy, but...
