Keep the heat on Lieberman and Landrieu because Lieberman refuses to investigate Hurricane Katrina while she stands by even after she supported him. It's disgraceful and unacceptable at any level. Kos has a great post up that tells us Lieberman stabs ally Landrieu in the back:

Make no mistake -- Lieberman has just made a fool of Landrieu. He has just told her he doesn't give a shit about her, her reelection efforts, her African-American constituents, nor all New Orleans and Louisiana residents. He obviously knows who brought him to the dance (Republicans), and he'll carry their water before he repays the efforts of one of his staunchest allies.

Lieberman himself made the case why oversight was so important:

"Nothing less than the future preparedness of our nation to respond to a terrorist attack or another catastrophic natural disaster is at stake, and the White House's refusal to allow the Committee appropriate insight into the workings of the entity within the federal government that was ultimately responsible for coordinating and leading the federal response cannot, I believe, be permitted to stand."

Well, guess who is permitting it to stand. Lieberman.
