Needlenose on Bush the junior:

On September 30, 2003, just after this investigation began, the President said:

"If there's a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is . . . If the person has violated law, that person will be taken care of."

We now know exactly what he meant.

The Frameshop: "Get out of jail free card."

Bush 2000 Flashback:
"So when I put my hand on the Bible, I will swear to not only uphold the laws of our land, I will swear to uphold the honor and dignity of the office to which I have been elected, so help me God."

"In my administration, we will ask not only what is legal but what is right. Not just what the lawyers allow, but what the public deserves."

For the history, see:
"Neither Right Nor Legal: Libby and the Bush 2000 Standard."

It's time to hit the streets with highway signs.
More than 70% of Americans did not want a Libby pardon.

The Bushes are a crime family.

Our not so fearless leader does not seem to be living up to his declaration that he is "a uniter not a divider."

Are you kidding?! I knew exactly what Bush meant as soon as he uttered, "They'll be taken care of".

I am sure he did not mean to include his son in that statement. If there was ever a father who spoiled a son this would be the man.

...and we wonder why they want to pack the courts and the US Justice system. What crooked bastards.

When are Dems going to realize that action(i.e. impeachment) speaks louder than words?

This country has become a horrible joke. Can't wait to finally get the hell out. Then I can sit back and watch it sink under the weight of its own corruption and stupidity.

Should be a good show.

I was trembling with anger until I remembered that I was actually hoping for this. Bush has just sealed the fate of Republicans in 2008 and ensured a Democratic sweep of Congress and the White House.

Sic Tyrannis Semper!

This will be nothing to the 'summer spectacular' they have planned.

Steve: Why the hell do I care if the Dems win, if they're just going to continue his war against Iran?

No surprises here. The law according to Bush only applies to those that are ordinary citizens, not those who are Republicans, who support his follies and of course the rich elite for whom he really works. The only excuse I can see for his commuting the sentence would be that he knows he personally gave the order to out a CIA operative. Either that or is proving that he indeed is a first class wussy and a coward, afraid of something or someone else.

Bush lets the guy off who outed an agent working to keep Americans safe from real WMDs because her husband exposed the lies of his criminal regime about the fake WMDs used to justify the criminal invasion of a nation so Dick Cheney's Halliburton could get no bid government contracts.

Good ole Republican America supporting!

What makes you think that blood sucking demon was talking about this country?... He is only talking about those on the inside of the circle of trust... none of you are part of that

Bush 43 and Cheney should be forced to listen to this Bush 41 clip, for 24 hours a day. Can it be piped into the WH?.

IMPEACH. simple as that.

[Do not advocate violence on this site-Sitemonitor]. They have nothing but contempt for every one of us.

I share your disillusionment, Tequila. But maybe people will get pissed off enough this time that Kusinich will be the next president.

Bush 41 On Traitors In 1999

Bush 41: “I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors.”

Bullshit!!! The people of the United States of American have to call bullshit on this asshole of a president... the man who stole the office should NOT be allowed to carry on this charade any longer. Impeach, Indict, and Imprision the lot of those White House crooks and liars NOW.

“I respect the jury’s verdict,” George Bush said, speaking oxymoronically as he announced his soon-to-be-notorious Monday Night Massacre of justice. All about keeping Scooter quiet, isn't it? This is no misdemeanor, it's a high crime. It's time to move impeachment to the front burner and turn up the heat.

http://letterfromhere.blogspot.com/2007/07/i-respect-jurys-verdict-georg...

Bush 41 himself was a traitor who should have been not just impeached, but imprisoned.

"maybe people will get pissed off enough this time that Kusinich will be the next president"

Yeah, right. As if our lying corporate media would allow that.

Oh look...a picture of Daddy Traitor.

Nice going, 41. You raised a traitor, or is your family exempt?

"Taken care of" - as in "Well taken care of. We may even give them a Medal of Freedom!"

Janeane the Acerbic Goblin @ 37:

Hell his daddy was raised by one - Prescott Bush was in league with the Natzi's and refused to sell Uncle Sam some of the technoligy he was more than glad to sell HItler.
He even pioneered 'off shore' bussness offices to get around the WARTIME laws about aiding the enemy.

So this is a loooooong legacy of trechery and inJustice my ignorant friend.

Did anyone expect Booosh to do the right thing.......What gets me is why has his dad not come out and condemned this act of treason.....all of them need to go down Armitage,Libby,Cheeeneey,Gonzales(now thats a real living joke...DOJ)Rice,Powell,Rumsfeld and of course Booosh...

Looks like boy Bush is once again acting out against daddy Bush. So he commuted Libby's sentence to show daddy Bush that he's the "Decider", not the jury.

Bush is Ossoma @ 39:

Where are the conservatives? I thought they were next to God, middle men between God and the angels. This is a nation of laws, we heard it all the time mostly from these wolves in sheep clothing called conservatives.

Which crime is worst now? Leaking the name of a CIA agent or crossing the border so you could feed your family? Remember the magic word for conservatives? Amnesty Amnesty.

A traitor was just granted amnesty. Does this sound like some story or parable in the bible? Please conservatives answers us.

The time is right for Impeachment. Let the proceedings begin. Cheney, Bush and Gonzalas, all three simutaneously. Don’t forget, Libby can be subpeonaed to testify before Congress. If he lies before Congress he can still be charged again. It won’t be a get out of jail free if Bush and Cheney are under impeachment.

I have rewritten an updated version of our Declaration of Independence for 2007. Ihope you all will take a few minutes to read it and pass it on to friends and relatives.

http://myfightfordemocracy.blo.....-2007.html

Watch the Bush Sr. quote in context with many things that Bush and McClellan said about the CIA leak. It makes today's action by Bush even more nauseating...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=T6L6x0oim-w

His old man says - as he has so many times before - this kid is a major FU.

I think the simultaneous impeachment of the president, vice-president and attorney general at his time would make for a marvelous Civics lesson for the American people. Since most of them must have flunked the class in high school.

National security means jack and shit to these assclowns.

Today is the day that the Republican party tore up their "national security" card, and shit on the Constitution.

How long before the disappearings start? How long before George - or his illegitimate successor - reaches for the imperial crown?

Anyone who supports this grotesque, abhorrent freak of the judicial system is a parasite of the worst kind imaginable and should be dealt with in a manner not unlike cockroaches in raid commercials. It should be done so without mercy and in such a style that considered a true moment in our history as such it will never be forgotten.

I was trembling with anger until I remembered that I was actually hoping for this. Bush has just sealed the fate of Republicans in 2008 and ensured a Democratic sweep of Congress and the White House.

Sic Tyrannis Semper!

I hope you are correct. Bush goes beyond putting party before country. He puts loyalty to him before his own party's concerns. And thereby guarantees their sound defeat in 2008.

Thank you, Herr Bush, you have given us the winning hand. For once, your stupidity will benefit us!

When Bush said:
"if the person has violated law, that person will be taken care of.”
He meant they would be well taken care of.

The neocon philosophy of social and civil order at work, here. The rule of law applies only to subjects(the concept of citizenship being too quaint an idea to be taken seriously), while the elites (and their family pets like Libby) are above all law and consequence.

All that Bush and his arrogance blinded neocon puppet masters have done is to widen the gap of the Democratic victory in the 2008 elections (assiming that those election take place and if they do, that they are not rigged or stolen).
