Another Republican Front Group Bites The Dust

Remember the way that Thor Hearne tried to hide any traces of his American Center for Voting Rights, just as the media started to realize that it was a Republican front group designed to popularize ideas with no basis in reality, but which would be key tools to Republican dominance?
Well, the same is happening with Italia Federici's organization, Council of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy. The Hill reports that the organization is all but disappearing.
But, if the council’s website is any indication, it couldn’t survive her guilty plea in federal court last month for obstruction and tax evasion. Federici’s sometime-boyfriend, former Deputy Interior Secretary J. Steven Griles, was also sent to prison last week for 10 months. Read more...

A little off subject but here it goes:
This evening I had a bike ride on the Grant Trail in St Louis County. This was the trail that Mark "Thor" Hearne was opposed to and tried to stop the trail from being built. He gathered signatures from some of his neighbors in Grantwood Village and tried to convince his Congressman Dick Gephardt to oppose the trail, Gephardt listened to the constituants who wanted the trail and now hundreds of people of all ages enjoy Grants Trail everyday. The enraged Hearne ran against Gephardt and got his ass wupped!
Thor Hearne has been an ass for some time,and he should be hauled before a Grand Jury and asked questions about voter caging.
BTW If you visit the 8 mile Grants Trail, make sure you allow time to visit the Ulysses S. Grant home now run by the National Park Service, next to the trail.
