God, if the firefighters can do this to Giuliani, I can only imagine what they would do about the whole 911 thing. I've read their firefighter magazines and the NYC Fire Chief had some pretty strong words to say about what went on that day, and they are livid about the three black boxes that were found but never reported, as well as the FBI threats against them if they talk about it. One article was about a firefighter in the hospital getting a visit from the Feds and threatening to pull the plug if he talked to reporters. So his wife did. :-)

I had no idea that they didn't have radios that day. They had between 52 and 29 minutes to get out and they never knew?!? How awful. I had no clue about this and I've kept up on all the 911 stuff.

Also, I believe that the Bushs see the GOP as their own little entitlement society, and they are not willing to let any of the 08 republican contenders get anywhere the white house. It is the property of a Bush, by birth right, an it only gets to be vacated for a few years so that a Democrat gets to fumigate and clean up the place... you know, the help has to maintain the place while they are on vacation.

Simple leach behavior, and the GOP is definitively a parasite: suck up your host (this country) up until is almost death, let it recover... and then get back at sucking it. If you kill the host you lose your nutrients, and if you let the host get too healthy it may have enough strength to kill the infection.

In fact, I am willing to bet the shitpile will be so high, that no Dem administration will be able to clean it up in just 4 years. By 2010, the GOP machinery will have made such a fuss about the horrible Dem administration, that by 2011 the republican front runner will be seen as a savior, and I am willing to bet that he will be another Bush. And since Americans have the historical memory of a fruit fly, he will win on landslide... w/o much people thinking about the fact that it was the previous Bush who created the pile of shit to begin with.

FDNY are the best and certainly the hereos of 911; however, one of the important facts in their video is inaccurate. They state that no police officer died in the North Tower on Sept 11th, but to my knowledge that is not true. A good friend died that day in the North Tower, Lt. Bob Cirri from the PAPD. In fact, several Port Authority POs died that day in the North Tower. On the other hand I know from being in NYC on 911 that there certainly was a radio communication problem and someone should be held accountable.

Bulliani can go to hell for all I Care, but sadly he will win in 2008 and so will the republicans, you see the two party system is so idiotic it's a shame.

Maybe we should feed this to Rudy's rivals? I see Tancredo or Hunter exploiting it. We need McCain to win!

Tell Mayor G that this video is going on wide circulation among his supporters, at home, at rallies. Get his comment about the IAFF piece, video his response, and then splice that video into the beginning of the IAFFA piece. Burn to CD, DVD, and put on video capable iPods, or other portable video devices. Take them to rallies and distribute them to the crowd. Stroll around and show people on the iPods, and PSPs, and let people make their own decisions or decide to ask certain questions based on the videos.

I don't know if any of you either watched or remember this show. But there was a reality show that finished up with a week or so of 9/11. It aired on Fox and was called Murder in Small Town X. The winner, Angel Juarbe Jr., a New York City firefighter, died in the collapse of the World Trade Center only a week after the final episode was broadcast.

First of all I think FDN should go to court and punish the administrators (including Giuliani)
Secondly FDN people who accepted the consignment of phones should also be responsible. I think even they should have tested the phones before 9/11 on different sites. They should not wait to test in a real life scenario.
And of course I think motorola(or the supplier) should also be held responsible if they knew the product is not good.
When you are supplying to a department whose help you(employees of Motorola including CEO) may also need, how can you supply shit to them. Its same as supplying dupped life saving drugs.

All the things mentioned above are true however what can one man(Giuliani) do on a day like that, also the video mentioned that he walked away from the site, isn't that human instinct to get away from danger. Yes the firefighters stayed, but they had the equipment and training to stay. I believe Amiericans have a tendency to blame someone if something goes totally wrong. Also finding the remains of the dead is crucial but when money and politics are on the opposing side, the latter will win. So please stop trying to find guilt within Giuliani.
