Cost of Iraq Occupation: $442B and counting; Cost of Shaming Clueless Chickenhawk: Priceless
By Nicole Belle Thursday Jul 12, 2007 4:31pmHere, for your perusal, is a prime example of Grade A Chickenhawk who feeds from the trough of FOXNews talking points to the exclusion of anything else.
"Big Man" Chris Vucovich decides to confront Cindy Sheehan to tell her what a tool she is for the Democrats, and succeeds in showing exactly who is really the tool.

friday frist .... almost
What a perfect tool Vucovich is. This just shows you how much our education system is failing us.
Will someone please send an Army Recruiter over to Mr. Vucavich's house please and send some cameras so we may witness his enrollment?
Vucovich is your ypical ignorant right-wing loudmouth. He's a coward chickenhawk who's happy to say he'd go but won't back it up. At 31 he's young enough and looks fit enough to serve. He makes zero points and merely functions as a wannabe bully. Sheehan was smart to walk away when it was obvious he wasn't in a listening mood.
If Sheehan didn't look so much like James Cromwell as Farmer Arthur Hoggett in the movie Babe, I'd kiss her.
I hope Cindy runs for Congress regardless of what AIPAC Nancy decides to do. Cindy is a fighter!

Chris Vucovich [deleted--We're not Malkin. Do not post personal information about anyone on this site. Pull that again and you're on the permanent banned list.]
He would go fight if they needed anyone?!?!?!?!?!?!? I hope he is asked about that promise at every press encounter until we finally get out of Iraq. I hope his constituents are watching and hold him to the offer.
He's a great guy I'm sure he wants to debate this further with YOU!
First time in a long time I have seen chicken shit with a voice.
“Big Man” Chris Vucovich looks young and fit enough to serve. He certainly seems to have the lung capacity.
And what was that line about "George Bush had nothing to do with it" in "response" to being told that it was Bush's fault we are at war? Geez Louise, what a tool.
There's your 24% mentality, folks!
typical....more like chickenshit... (USMC 1984-1992)
Why does Vucovich need a printed invitation from good ol' GW hisself? Shouldn't he be chomping at the bit to enlist because to serve one's country in a time of such a national crises is the right thing to do?
LOVE IT !!!! A chickenhawk goes off at someone that actually served because he has to pay tax so he can have veterans benefits, then when the veterans offered to go to the recruitment office down the road with him after he said he would love to serve.....................ROTFLMAO (can't do the accent)
Duane @ 10:
He seems to be referring to some numbers somebody's fudging. Over three thousand soldiers have deserted. They're missing recruiting goals even after having lowered the standards so some of the most uneducated and criminal are allowed in. However, some soldiers still reenlist. Last I heard was 500 in some major celebration, ostensibly for media release.
Is that a souhern accent I detect? I'm shocked. This man doesn't represent all southern red-staters, just most of them.
Art Pufkin @ 9:
Art
I don't care what side you're on, that's a Michelle Malkin move. Just because someones an a-hole doesn't mean you should give out their personal info. Bad form.
Well the good news is this is Bushes last 6 months in office. He'll spend most of 08 as the fishing, golfing, and clearing brush president just like dad did his last year in office while everything really goes to hell in a hand basket.
Sign up and go to Eye-raq, you idiot, if you love Bush so much.
Ummm yea... Well Chris old boy... I'm sick and tired too... Of just a lot of shit! But especially, of people like you! Fucking moron... Ah fagetabout it.. Heres a short note from me to you.. If you got nothing better to do and won't trot your fatass 31 year old body down to the recruiters office... Mr. Vucovich...Then, STFU!!!! JD
Here:
[deleted--we're not Malkin. We don't give out information on private citizens.]
Who is this guy, anyway?
He's already in Limpbaugh's army, aint that enough, folks?
What a maroon.
$442 Billion?!
Hey, that would have bought America a national Healthcare system like every other country has!
i was in iowa city on a job and i got a beer at this pizza place next to the hotel. a bunch of college kids were in there and one kid and his girl were all about the war.
i gave the usual breakdown of the lies, deception, corruption etc that is this nightmare that has been made. he came back with the same bullshit. and most of the bar was behind the kid. then i said through my guinness, why don't YOU go join then!!! he scoffed. like in a movie, he looked around the crowded bar and everyone was looking at him, and he WALKED! the bar errupted in laughter and hoots!
"If you hate America so much, why do you pay taxes?" What a f-ing clown.
Why don't you email chis...I did
[deleted--no, we will not allow information about private citizens on this site.]
With all due respect it was in google.
It's just too bad that by threatening to run against Pelosi, Sheehan is doing some of Vucovich's work for him. The response to people like Vucovich is to marginalize their impact by relegating the GOP to a permanent, small minority, rather than to attack the GOP's opposition for not being liberal enough.
Mike @ 28:
Too bad, I would've prefered the bar erupted with hooters.
ysbaddaden @ 18:
Y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all. What a retard.
Oh middle America. I know that is not fair but Middle America got us into this mess.
Just listen to Chris Vucovich's accent.
Clearly he hasen't read anything beyond high school reading assignments.
hey chris- go to your frickin army recruiter on monday, asshole. i am so sick and tired of whiners who follow bushdom but do not put themselves in harms way. imagine that! it is nice liveing in america and judging when you are safely lying in you cozy bed watching videos and that idiot sean hannity. i'm sure that is reality for you! it is very comfortable to have someone else or the administration control you, think for you, and suck away your rights. you have diffficulty getting away from mommy. get off the breast. love ya dear. get a brain.
CHICKENSH-T CHICKENHAWKS.

From the misleading headline to the glaring omission of all things enlistment related, this my friends is journalism at its finest!
And the Edward R Murrow award goes to.....
Here is the real reason we went into Iraq and eliminated Saddam Hussein and why we are not being told about it:
After 9/11 our greatest enemy was recognized as being radical Sunni Islam. Most of the 9/11 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia and were adherents to the violent and intolerant Wahhabiism teachings. Saudi Arabia has been actively involved in exporting this ideology around the world using oil money generated within that state.
This created a serious problem. We could not turn on our Saudi “friends” and there was not an easy way to attack the widely disbursed Sunni radicals. A creative response was needed.
Much of foreign policy is built on the time-tested principles of “divide and conquer” and “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” To turn these principles into strategies, it was necessary to find a group, which was a natural enemy of the Sunni radicals. The obvious choice for this is the moderate Shiites who have their spiritual center in Iraq. An added reason for supporting these moderates is that they are not in line with the radical Shiites who now control the government of Iran. The installation of a moderate Shiite regime in Iraq would have the double benefit of becoming a thorn in the sides of both Iran and Saudi Arabia,
Of course, the best way to help the moderate Shiites was to take out their nemesis, Saddam Hussein, who had for many years stood as the bulwark against the hated forces of Shia. He had ruthlessly persecuted the Shiites in Iraq and mounted a lengthy and bloody war against Iran. The Sunni Muslims could ignore the Shiites, many of whom lived in their midst, because Saddam was holding them at bay.
Saddam had at one time been a close ally of the US, which was instrumental in bringing him to power and supplied him with armaments. Why did he turn against us? Remember “Iran-Contra?” Saddam was incensed when he found out that we were secretly funding and arming Iran in their fight with us. It became clear to him that all along, it has been our policy to contain his power. Research this strange episode and you will find commentators mystified as to the reasons behind it. No one states the obvious. We wanted to help Iran but needed to keep it a secret. VP Bush was the mastermind and even then we were playing the Sunni/Shia division.
I am convinced that the real reason we invaded Iraq, eliminated the Baath regime and abandoned our bases in Saudi Arabia is that we wanted to strengthen the power of the moderate Shiites in the region. At this time both sides hate us but also need us as they fight each other. The Bush administration constantly boasts that the proof for the success of our policies is that there have not been any attacks on our soil. Al Quaeda and the radical Sunnis are now concentrating their fury on the newly invigorated Shiite regime taking shape in Iraq. If it all turns out as we hope, the Shiites will be a major counterforce against radical Sunnis and the radical Shiites in Iran.
The nice thing about this theory is that it challenges the accepted wisdom that Bush and his cohorts were naïve in trying to set up a democracy in Iraq. This could never have been our goal. We are leaving the country a mess, but the radical Sunnis now have their traditional enemies to occupy them instead of us.
Even if the civil war in Iraq drags on with more violence or we are asked to leave, we will still have accomplished our primary goal of striking a blow against our most bitter enemy, radical Sunni Islam, and turned their attention to those whom they hate more than us. Having Saudi Sunnis in a dominant position as they coddle and export the virulent versions of their faith has not been healthy for the world or the Mideast region.
Time will tell if this has been a wise policy. Involving ourselves in the Mideast can have unforeseen consequences. Consider the bitter harvest we have reaped as a result of our support for the Mujadeen in Afghanistan. The ones we built up for that struggle are the same ones who turned on us later. On the other hand, if we accept this theory as the true rationale for our involvement in Iraq, it provides a much more reasonable explanation as to why we went in. It is certainly more credible than the official line that we embarked on this mission with the quixotic rationale of installing democracy in Iraq. That idea never did make sense and in my view was a mere pretense for the true, Machiavellian purposes laid out above. Unfortunately, if this is what we did, our government can never openly express it. Instead, we are left to merely observe and appreciate or dread the outcomes.
We have to BORROW 14 Billion Dollars, A MONTH from CHINA "TO PAY" for the failure in Iraq.
Congress just upped the bounty on Bin Ladens dead head to 50 Million. We spend that in a few hours in Iraq.
The COGNITIVE DISSONANCE in the US Homeland is thick! I blame Bush/Cheney, Republicans AND Democrats, and especially the US Corporate Media. They are the worst war crimnals of the lot, and thin skinned. But most of all we have to blame ourselves, because this nation of cowards will not rise up in anger.
The war is a disaster, and this guy will never "walk the talk" and sign up.
That guy seemed to be pretty closed minded. He never gave Sheehan much of a chance to respond. She replied to this guy's question by saying Bush is responsible for 700,000 deaths. That pretty much incited the screaming match.
I wonder where she got that 700,000 figure, since the UN still puts this disastrous war much, much, lower with regard to casualties.
Republicans are thrilled she will run - she'll get 10% of the vote and hurt Pelosi big time, so I'm not sure if Mrs.Sheehan is helping her own cause very much.
What do others think about this?
Classic.
This is a great segment because Vucovich is allowed the rope to hang himself. What an ass. It's one thing to disagree, but when you start telling a vet that he hates America, wow - complete Fox News wingnut zombie ass**le.

What an ass is right
drop him a line.....im sure he's be happy to hear from us!
[...] Earlier today I said, “when even Linkin Park has something to say… you know its time for a change.” What I meant was, that when a previously apolitical band like Linkin Park sings words like this, you know they represent a growing portion of a generation who’s had enough of what’s going on in the world and finally has something to say about it… [...]
jim @ 336:
Ok, you're right, he is a treasurer of the local GOP chapter:
Still, he just shows how stupid he is, in the same manner Bush & Co. act and state things without doing anything themselves. I can't credit him with having had an agenda going in that morning-that would be something that would have required a bit of intelligence and he did not show any that day. He has been lambasted enough for his verbal tirade and made himself the laughing-stock of people who believe chicken hawks are all strong talk but no personal sacrifice. Real action is left for the real men and women who actually have to risk dying FOR THE THOUGHTLESS AND ILL-CONCEIVED LACK OF PLANNING OF OTHERS WHO WERE SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT THE GOODWILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND NOT THE CORPORATE INTERESTS OF THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL-COMPLEX.
Darn it, he's the secretary of all things, not the treasurer.
I am a veteran. The son and father, brother and uncle of veterans.
And this man ( so called ) is a coward. Plain and simple. But he is worse than that. He claims that this country is in danger, but WONT fight for it. That makes him a traitor. Not a traitor like the republicans tried to portray those that opposed the war in Iraq. But an honest to God traitor of his country.
One more point. There are women, mothers and grandmothers serving in Iraq right now. And as feminine as most of those women are, they are more manly than the likes of Chris Vucovich.
There are homosexuals serving in Iraq right now. They are proving themselves to be better Americans, and real patriots compared to Chris Vucovich. And I am SURE that Chris Vucovich would like to take away any rights that they might have, or restrict any rights that they might gain. Does anyone remember the Tuskegee Airmen.
One thing is for sure, I am GLAD that Chris Vucovich spoke up, and proved himself, and all of his ilk, the REAL cowards and traitors that they are.
Like those of you that Love and support people like him.
Why wont you support the troops. Why wont you enlist. Or encourage your relatives to enlist.
Seems to me that "supporting the troops" is nothing more than a political talking point for republicans, and Chris proved that.
I know one of the cornerstones of democracy is one person-one vote, but can’t we insist on a simple IQ test to weed out the lobotomized?
Dont blame Chris on the lobotimized.
At his and his daddy's website, there is a picture on the front page. Behind them on a shelf is a picture frame. That is a "presidential medal of freedom" right ?
ROFLMAO
As bush (with a little b ) would say. heck of a job vuvuoovkviik.
K McWilliams @ 373:
I'll just take the weed, please.
This is the type of individual that Duh-bya wants in his administration. (Someone to inspire the troops.) Can't waste such talent on the field of battle . . . ( . . . to follow in Dick Cheney's footsteps).
Tom Sawyer @ 20:
That is kind of harsh. But on the other hand, the worst he will get from dems is a piece of their mind. the right wingers go a little hard core. Like they did with Keith Olberman.
ysbaddaden Says:
If Sheehan didn’t look so much like James Cromwell as Farmer Arthur Hoggett in the movie Babe, I’d kiss her.
====
I say: I'm very disappointed in your comment.
Notice how he started out all ratcheted up, like he was going to show her something. I've endured that kind of crap over and over again. It's the same exasperated tone that you hear on Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Malkin, etc. These people just sit in their coccoons and listen to this crap over and over again, and then when they see a bumper sticker they don't like, they explode.
It's like they can't have normal, civil discourse anymore on political topics. It's just outrage and persecution fantasies all the time. It happens on the left, too. I can't wait until we can return to a civil society!
I want to see that guy in uniform pronto!
Like the way Cindy gets right up in his face.
Ah yes, he has to stay home and work so he can pay for the war he supports -- and then complain about the taxes he has to pay and argue he should get a break. He knows the truth -- he's just fighting against Liberal Biased Reality.
Gawd what an asshole.
Cut Off Veterans benefits and see just how many people volunteer to go through the Iraq revolving door meat grinder.
Just like Matthew Continetti, this guy would pee in his pants if somebody put a gun in his hands. Y'all, y'all, y'all.
I always wondered who those 22% were.. Now I know.
sjk @ 41:
That is neocon logic for you.
Loved it when that guy offered to give him a ride to the recruiting office.
what a piece of shit that guy is!
Yer sunburn is showing asshole!
Why is it that wars are paid for in dollars, but never TAX dollars?
Whoa, I just had the greatest idea: have army recruiters complete with forms and everything attend peace rallies or anywhere chickenhawks are likely to show up.
Then when someone starts mouthing off you can sign 'em up right then and there!
just so you know...Malkin re-posted the personal information that had all ready been posted all over Santa Cruz, in the papers and on the net...so be prepared for that.
He could join the marines. That way he could brag that he raped and murdered unarmed civilians to his grandchildren. If he survived.
"If George Bush said we needed soldiers I would sign up right now."
Did i tell you how much I hated these guys?
L.A. Confidential @ 47:
That was quite a nice moment... My son is getting recruitment flyers. I think I'll forward a few to Mr. Vucivich.
What a little bastard this guy is.
You know, there were so many opportunities there to at least give an honest answer. Sure, I expect to hear the "Was Saddam better?" thing (yes, he was). But when you start saying that a war veteran -- one of those people that guys like this pretend to have so much respect for -- is lying about recruiting goals not being reached (a fact that is not only not in dispute, but fairly common knowledge) you cross a big line in my book. That's not confusion. That's something more disgusting.
I don't understand -- if you want to put a little yellow ribbon on your SUV for today's troops, how do you not look at the veterans of yesterday and choke up and appreciate them, no matter what political party they support? How do you so cavelierly call a group of heroic men a bunch of liars, when you know in your heart you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about? WITH A TV CAMERA THERE NO LESS.
This may not be a new observation, but modern Republicanism is a sickness. I truly hope that someday, our opposing political party is made of people who simply disagree with us, not people who hate themselves and want to take the rest of us down with them.
I am beyond angry.
Here is a video clip from General Peter Pace's Pentagon Press conference today. Watch him admit that there were 10 Iraq Military Battalions capable of functioning independantly in January of this year, but that number has now shrunk to only Six battalions now capable of doing so. They have actually shrunk 40% in just six months. The Surge is working in a backwards manner. We are sitting down more of the Fuckers than we are actually standing up.
Laugh to keep from crying. All we had to do with the Insurgents was give them arms, and they were good to go against Al-Qaeda in Anbar province, but we can never get the Iraq Military capable of doing a goddam thing on their own.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX3wb2j-EbE&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Etpmmu...
Y'awll makes me understand who 29% of "Mercan's" still support this dunderhead of a president.
moniker @ 50:
I have a better question: why is it the Republicans always want to privatize the Benefits (profits) but socialize the costs (pollution, cost of war, global warming, health care)?
Chris Vucovich - Jackass.
Geraldo @ 51:
Excellent Idea!
Vucovich is a typical right-wing blowhard that thinks he's scoring points by talking the fastest and the loudest. Educated people see through the vitriol and hyperbole of the regressive talking points. Anyone in this comment section that attacks Cindy for her appearance puts themselves across as an ignoramous; they have no substantive argument about the issues so they resort to personal attacks and hurl invectives.
Why do we even argue with those that simply regurgitate their master's voice?
Maybe the Iraqi military would do a better job if they got to go to America for a year after a year of fighting? We could put them up at Disney World and Key West.
This man is the personification of ignorance. He needs to drive directly to his nearest recruiting office to sign up for deployment. Notice how he tried to weasel out of it after they told him to stop yakking and enlist. The military is not meeting its recruiting goals and have lowered the standards for admission, so why exactly does he thing they wouldn’t accept him? Doesn’t he know 30 is the new 20?
hadenuf @ 37:
I am too, I alwys prefer it when my ripostes are one liners.
I know one of the cornerstones of democracy is one person-one vote, but can’t we insist on a simple IQ test to weed out the lobotomized?
TruthSeeker @ 65:
He's a financial planner, his GE stocks are doing well as long as we are at war... "Money trumps peace", y'all.
He said he was 31 years old. You can enlist into the regular military up 34 years old and the reserves/gaurd up to 42 years old.
But if he joins Bush's old Air aurd unit he won't have to go anywhere and he will only have to serve a few weeks.....right?
Someone needs to pass on Mr. Vucovich's contact information on to the nearest miltary recruiter; he's clearly in support of the war and willing to do his part to make up the latest recruiting target shortfalls.
Well he's a husky fellow, make a nice big bloody spot in Iraq.
More chicken shit from chicken shits.
I think the original question was "Would Iraqis' be better off if we left?" It would have been better if Sheehan had directed her answer to that question rather than bring up unrelated talking points. Hope she wins.
Please give this guy all the free exposure he wants.
He's priceless.
Chris Vucovich could inspire a whole generation of chickenhawks to serve if he does.
Let's follow up on this chickenhawk.
I have a feeling this Youtube clip is going to be as popular as the Obama girl, and the new Hillary girl.
Fox is probably signing him to a 2-year broadcasting deal as we speak.
Okay, John, I understand not wanting to publish his contact info but any intrepid googler can find it in, oh, 15 seconds...
Site Monitor: Perhaps, but they're not getting it from us.
Someone should have told this redneck that the recruitment goal was missed by 1400 last month and that bush DOES need him.
If we could shame this chickenhawk into enlisting would the folks at the Creation Museum hold his job mopping up the floors of the dinosaur exhibit for him?
mongo @ 70:
Wow, your the man. Send an e-mail to the Army and have recruiters at all Cindy's rallies. Bound to at least embarrass one of these jerks into enlisting.
This guy is a Financial Planner?
No wonder he's a crooked idiot.
DNey @ 56:
I would argue that Saddamy was better than chaos, but that's not saying much. How do you hold such disparate people together in such an artificially created society? Iraq didn't even exist as we know it until after World War I, and they redrew all the lines. Like Rwanda's Hutus and Tutsis, they put traditional enemies into one society, in this case Sunni, Shia and Kurds.
Mike Mid City @ 79:
Well, legally, he DID PUBLICALLY SAY HE WILL JOIN, so I think now he is legally bound to JOIN.
They also put Serbs, Slavs, and Islamic folk together in the former Yugoslavia.
Did Yugoslavia have a pretty model on a tourist poster saying, "Yugo girl!"?
Beautiful. The same pile of crap that claims that democrats don't support the troops disrespects a troop right to his face and basically calls him a leech for having served in combat. If I was that soldier, Mr. Vulvabitch would have been singing his 24% praises through a bloody gob of shattered teeth. Poor little chickenhawk is 100% eligable but doesn't even have a fraction of a percent worth of balls to back it up.
Anytime someone says, "oh, I love George Bush", inspect their head for lobotomy scars.
“So Saddam Hussein was better?” “What what? I can’t hear you.” Somebody should have put a boot in this guy’s ear.
God damn right Saddam Hussein was better you dip shit. What is better about Iraq right now fucktard? What? What? I can’t hear you.
Salmineo @ 82:
It isn't legal until he signs the paper... until then, he can back out all he wants.
The Mother of the Peace Movement caught in a shouting match...and comes off badly.
Now that she's identified Nancy Pelosi as the main enemy, I read this at:
http://prisonerofstarvation.blogspot.com/
Senate Dems Vote for War With Iran
That's right. Senate. Democrats. Voted. For. War. With. Iran. On Wednesday, the Senate voted 97-0 for an amendment written by Joe Bomb Iran Lieberman whose position on Iran is identical to Dick Cheney's
The amendment repeats the flimsy charges made by the Cheney administration earlier this year that the Iranian government is arming Iraq's Shia militias with explosively-formed projectile explosives that have killed almost 200 American troops and that Shia Iran is giving a safe haven to Sunni extremist Al-Qaeda (even though AQ is blowing up Iraqi Shias left and right). These are the same charges that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Statt, Peter Pace, distanced himself from, claiming that the evidence did not support the contention that Iran's government either supplied or was complicit in the supply of these weapons to militias in Iraq. (Pace's will not be renominated for the position, by the way.)
The amendment states that “the murder of members of the United States Armed Forces by a foreign government or its agents is an intolerable act against the United States,” and demands the government of Iran “take immediate action” to end all forms of support it is providing to Iraqi militias. It also mandates a regular report on Iran’s anti-U.S. activity in Iraq.
Senior Democrat Carl Levin successfully inserted a small change to Lieberman's text stating that, "Nothing in this section shall be construed to authorize or otherwise speak to the use of Armed Forces against Iran." If you're thinking, "phew! That'll stop a war on Iran!" think again. The Iraq Liberation Act passed by Congress in '98 and signed by Bill Clinton had the same text. And we all know the story of how that text stopped the invasion of Iraq.
Charging Iran with killing U.S. troops has nothing to do with the facts. It's about beating the war drums and trying to convince Americans that in order to "protect our troops" the U.S. must bomb Iran.
The unanimity of the vote is alarming. Hillary and Obama voted for it. Only three sat out on the vote, including Senator Vitt who can't be bothered to Iran-bash in the middle of his Religious Right-family-values-meets-hookers-and-diapers political meltdown.
During the Vietnam war, it was obvious that the Vietnamese were killing American soldiers with bullets and bombs with "from Russia with love" or "made in China" written all over them. These weapons were delivered by the boatload by Chinese and Russian ships sent their by their respective governments. Yet no one in Congress declared that this was "murder" by "foreign governments and their agents" and even Nixon, rabid anti-Communist that he was, never threatened Russia or China if they failed to "take immediate action" to halt these shipments.
Then again, those governments had armies and nukes powerful enough to do real damage if the U.S. was stupid enough to attack them. These days, the U.S. picks fights with tin-pot dictators of impoverished Third World nations (Noriega, Hussein, Milosevic, the Taliban, Kim Jong-Il, Ahmadinejad) while screaming they are "the next Hitler."
If the war on Iraq was a cakewalk, an attack on Iran would be. It's got a bigger population, a bigger economy, a fairly strong military, and they've probably studied how Hezbollah fought the Israelis to a stalemate last year. The U.S. Navy is so cramped for room to manuever its 130 or so ships in the Persian Gulf that they regularly radio the Iranian navy to notify them about impending ship movements, imagine how it will be once that third aircraft carrier arrives and if Iran fires thousands of missiles at these ships to overwhelm their hi-tech defenses. Plus, Iraq's Shia won't take kindly to the mass slaughter of their brethren next door by the same nation that refuses to leave Iraq and funds Israel's slow motion genocide of the Palestinians.
Make no mistake. The U.S. is on a collision course with Iran. Both Democrats and Republicans are hell-bent on rolling back Iran's growing power and influence on the region, even if it means a war that will cost thousands or tens of thousands of lives. The vote on Wednesday is just more proof of that.
And there is this from
http://www.israeltoday.co.il/default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=13407.....
What the hell???
It is a real good thing that I was not there. It would have been violent for sure. I have had it up to here with these assholes. Up to here (holding hand above head).
Please be repectful of this gentleman. Clearly he is suffering from some sort of delusion or mental illness. Don't email him or be mean to him. It will just be empirical evidence to him that liberals eat children or some other Ann Coulter talking point. Just send the recruiters over to his house, or better yet, have GW Bush send him a personal invitation to join the Army.
I can think of at least 700,000 Iraqis who would prefer to have Saddam back... Why is our country so filled with morons?
i absolutely would like to think that this guy is atypical of the republican mindset, but he's not. he's very typical of the idiocy that guides them. he gets me sick. when will they crawl back under the rocks that they've been under for so long.
When attacking solo, the Redus-nekus is easily intimidated with facts and truthfulness, typically resorting to yelps of "ya'll, ya'll, ya'll". Without the protection of the herd, the usual response is flight. I bet he yelled out his car window as he was driving away, "YA'LL SUCK!".
notreallyabadguy @ 36:
Hey in Reichwing world, getting a piece of mind in an e-mail= white powdery substance in the mail. Lying about a blow job=outing a CIA agent. You say potato, they say islamofacist pink gun carrying gang raping lesbos.
On the plus side for him; If he joins the Army he’ll get to wear a helmet every day -- which will free up that hour a day he must spend perfecting that Teflon comb-over.
"Y'all just make things up to support your agenda, and that's fine."
I didn't hear them make any baseless claims, but at least now we know how Bush fans manage to continue supporting these morons. Making facts up is "just fine".
empy @ 93:
The kicker is that if he had been polite, Cindy probably would have had a pleasant ( or at least civil) conversation with him. Coz that's what liberals do.
I think people like this guy think they are important because they have a cause. They get the impression if they support their president somehow that makes them special. They see the president as someone like them, so they feel like one of their own made the big time and they see promise in that. Of course the prez. is nothing like them except he can't complete a sentence. The guy clearly was clueless of any facts and he seemed much braver going after a woman than going after the vets that were there. He tried to bully Cindy, but when the vets started hitting him with facts, he folded and looked absurd.
OK, I guess the kidding around is pretty much over now that they have doubled the reward on Bin Laden.
I suggest we share expenses and lead a hunting party to the Pakistan border post haste.
Maybe that redneck can fly us there in his hedgefund learjet that he got from screwing people out of their life savings.
I think everyone forgets that people like Vucovich are generally disliked by the Army. The reason you have people re-enlisting for the meat grinder is that they care about their comrades. I don't think that people like Chris care about anyone but themselves.
no longer a proud american @ 92:
news flash.
These cretins have been feeling their oats for quite sometime now. They have lost sight of the rock they crawled out from under.
"I'd enlist right now but they don't need me to"
"I'm not in the military cause they need me to make money to pay taxes."
"I'd enlist but I'm 31 and they don't want someone that old"
Wow this chickenhawk sure has alot of excuses.
I like how Cindy gets right up in the weenie's face.
Who the hell is Chris Vucovich?
Why can't someone just feed him the straight facts?
And, by the way, my local office of the Army and National Guard are perfectly willing to recruit him and pay him combat pay (~$30k /yr!).
Blackwater, now, they look more for Junta types..... to make the $30k /month.
Hell, I had to give up Lamar Smith's academy nomination because my spine's too twisted and my nose is "misaligned." Let this dude take my place on the field. Send me an email with his contact info... I'll recruit him!
Let's start a draft Chris Vucovich movement.
[deleted--do not put personal information about private citizens on this site. Who do you think we are? Michelle Malkin?]
The good news is that cretins like this are getting lonelier and lonelier.
What is it 26% who still support this clusterf#@%k of an occupation?
Wow, what a great setup. They need to send a recruiter with cameras to his house immediately. It would be so great watching the chickenhawk cowering in the corner when asked to do exactly what he said he would do. See if he truly believes in this war enough to lay his life on the line for it like he asks others to do for him. It would be classic!
It can be quite difficult for a person of average intelligence to come down to the communication level of a Bonehead Chickenhawk..In the case of Mr.Vucovich's rants and raves and Infantile questions someone should have asked him 'why he supports a leadership and party that in the lead up to the Iraq war made assertions that Iraq had something to do with the 9-11 attacks, Assertions made in an attempt to mislead America into war'?....In dealing with Fox news or any GOP think tank talking points it is important to continue to drive the fact that the current Administration mislead America into the quagmire that is Iraq and constantly point out that until the ones responsible for the quagmire are held to account that all other issues concerning the quagmire that is the Iraq war are all moot...A War based on bogus Intel. and misleading Info. is a war based upon ZERO...To support a war based on zero is to support madness.......
What's the point of kicking around a know-nothing redneck nobody? There are right-wing pundits with less convincing arguments polluting the national airwaves every day. Let this pinhead return to obscurity and the safety of his delusions -- there's bigger fish to fry.
Creeps like vucodick almost makes me wish there were a draft... the kind that blows chickenhawks onto the front lines.
Poor, poor, Chrissy. He is so full of self-loathing he has to assault women.
Well, my military able, vituperative, vitriolic, venal, simple minded neo-tool, why not prove to yourself you are all you voice yourself to be - enlist? Of course, a G.I. uniform is not quite as 'club-set' as your La Coste Polo, but, look at it this way: your taxes will be lower, you'll never need to spend precious dollars on khakis, the taxpayers will relieve you of that burden and supply you with all you need -even if not all you might want, or in your preferred palette. The Marines have some snappy dress you might like. Then while you are in the long tedious transit to Iraq, read a book. Might I recommend some that are educational yet not too difficult? Hey, you 'up' at the recruitment center and I'll even provide a dictionary and a basic English grammar text.
Keep us posted on your enlistment and if you manage to make it through basic.
Later that day, out on the golf course, grunting and back slapping with the other members of the braintrust, I'm sure Mr. V told his side of the story. "So, ya'll know I wasn't gonna take no more a that She-bitch's mess. I done got right up on her ya'll, asked her, what happens when we'all up and leave? She ain't got no answer ya'll, just a stupid Democrat. Lucky them dudes with her was disabled or I woulda had to wup sum ass. Ya'll". "Now watch this drive!"
"Let's go to the recruiting office...I gotta car."
Beeeutiful!!!

31! The Army cut-off age is 34, I know, I was 31 when I enlisted and went to basic back in 04'. There are plenty of recruters that would love to meet this coward.
Watchdog @ 116:
I thought it was 42 now.
Three words for ya: Come out, already!!
And what's up with that god-awful combover? Dude, you're not fooling anyone.
Go to 1:11 of the clip. Mr. Vucovich says:
"I love George Bush! I might be related to him!"
So he thinks W. is his 3rd cousin once removed, and he's darned proud of it.
Southern Man better, keep your head
don't forget what you, good book said
Seriously, this guy is the treasurer of a County Republican group. I'm not sure that publishing this fact is getting into Malkin territory. He is a member of his state Republican party apparatus and that makes him fair game. Everyone do a little Googling and find out more about this asshat chickenhawk.
The big mouth, complete ignorant, is the typical Rethug. brainwashed chickenhawk and bedwetter and is terrified to serve our country. He's like the Fat-Ass Fattity's out there and believes somebody else should die for their complete stupidity as they run like the chickenshit slugs they are.
at 83.
Not sure what you are trying to get at.
Yugoslavia was after all a conglomerate of various small nations, who had initially been under (quite harsh) Ottoman rule for centuries, with several states on the Balkans (Bulgaria, Rumania, Greece, Serbia) first getting their independence in the decades around 1900, and some parts being part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire (yes, several kingdoms under one crown).
I suspect, with the creation of Yugoslavia after WW1, after Ottoman Empire, and Austria-Hungary being on the losing side, and Serbia on the winning one, the mutual distrust were held off for a while, due to memories of former oppressors(suppressors?).
After WW2, it seems Tito did a considerable job holding them together, in spite of parts of his people siding with the nazi occupiers.
"Who was Saddam?!"
Hmm, let's see now. Oh yeah, he was our ALLY throughout the 80's. He's the one Rummy shook hands with after it was known that he had used chemical weapons on Iran. He was the one who gased the Kurds while Reagan did nothing. He's the one who told our ambassador that he was going to annex Kuwait, to which he was replied "go ahead, we don't care".
Simply F'ing amazing.
Cut-off is 42 and luckily, being an ignorant fuckhead isn't a disqualifier either.
With loosers like Chris Vucovich in this country it's a wonder we have survived this long!
link
So now even the police we are training and equipping are our enemies. For Bush this must be just one more 'Mission Accomplished' moment.
Why the fuck did I watch that? I knew I shouldn't have watched that. I should know by now after reading pissed off comments first to NOT watch chickenhawk videos...I tried to e-mail the little pisher and got an error code. That's probably a good thing...otherwise I'd probably need to get milk and cookies ready for the guys in dark suits when they show up in a few days.
Don't you just LOVE the notion--given the endless mendacity and pig headed arrogance of the Bush regime--that he's tired of "these people".I got a big kick out of the idea of military recruiters at Cindy's events by the way.Too funny.Give "these people" a chance to serve their country and go join the on going slaughter in Iraq.
Suu-PRYZ! SUU-pryz! Our dear, littlest Vucovich is a Cap City Young Repug. At 31 isn't he over the hill for the YOUNG Repugs? Just askin'.
Why are all these chickenshit, bloodthirsty, neo-cons so damn stupid, blind and ignorant?
Imagine a perfect world in which supporters of a war are required to physically support that war.
W on the front lines commanding a legion of guys like Chris - that's how they imagine themselves.
I had a guy like this at an anti-war protest early on. He was proud of the fact that he was making lots of money making war toys and wanted to see it go on forever. Basic Republican values. Worship the dollar almighty and screw everything else. Hopefully he's sterile so we can clean up the gene pool a little. If he isn't, his great-grandkids (if they survive the birthing process) can thank him for air that has to be filtered, water that has to be purified and nutrients similar to Soylent Green for survival. Funny thing about money. You can't eat it, drink it, or use it as a shelter. But they sure love it.
Give this guy all the media attention he can stand. And then some.
Decorated Viet Nam combat veteran 1963-64, 1967-70
Which reminds me,
did any US media flash the message from Sunni Insurgents, threatening Iran with Jihad, and bombings, if Iran did not stop meddling in Iraqi internal affairs?
Wait, the baathist, former Saddam crowd threatening Iran, with support from the Saudi's, who are also Sunni, and scared of Iran, who told Cheney that the US could not leave Iraq, because then Saudi Arabia would be forced to help their Sunni brothers (the Saddam crowd) against Iran.
Which is kinda confusing, as the current leadership in Iraq might be having support from both the US and Iran, but not Saudi Arabia.
No wonder its a mess.
PassedPawn @ 115:
Cut off age IS indeed 42 now!! They had to raise it because of chickenhawk chickenshits like Chris Vucovich.
'mazin' what basic Google reveals. Typical blowhard, Chris works for his daddy. No need to provide his info - it's readily aqvailable.
