PresNOT still regurgitating propaganda -- basically, to leave i-rack there'd be "chaos", with an emboldened enemy which would require us to send troops in again!
HE IS TRULY INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I heard some of what he said this morning, Dr Acula. You're right! Either he's insane or he thinks we are.
Former Reagan offical has something to say:

Things are getting eerie as hell. Forget about worrying about a terrorist attack, I'm afraid of an attack by this administration on the American people. I mean worse than it's been up until now.
Bush isn't insane, and Iraq is not taking a "step back".
Bush is doing what he was put in office to do, and the direction in which things are going in Iraq is the way it was supposed to go.
Everything is going according to plan. You are the insane ones for thinking otherwise.
Orwell, I'd say the sheeple who voted for Busholini and - even more so - those who still support him are insane.
I'm reading Greg Palast's "Armed Madhouse" -- I've not heard nor read ANYTHING remotely close to what Greg writes in the so-called "liberal media".

This is also my biggest concern at the moment.

Agreed.
So Kristol's the one responsible for adding an 'e' to potatos. Bastard!

I read Dr. Roberts religiously on Counterpunch, and have corresponded with him on several occassions. I'd like to share a recent email I sent to him with you all. It was written two weeks prior to this latest article of his.
"Dr. Roberts, I greatly enjoyed your article on Counterpunch, and agree with most aspects of it.
What I do disagree with is your exoneration of Ronald Reagan's policies as a root cause of the economic problems being experineced by the US today. As you were a member of that Administration, I do understand why you feel that way.
History does not look at "intent". Many of the good or bad things that occur over history, oft times occur though not intended. Rather, policies put in place for one purpose often lead to unintended consequences, a point you make often and correctly in your article. History merely records and if written and recorded correctly, identifies which occurrences caused a particular result. History does not affix "blame". Nor do I. But, policy makers are expected to at least attempt to project and foresee the long term consequences of their policies, and when they fail to do that, they are called into account by history.
Ronald Reagan may not be to "blame" by your account. But even you within your article show that the policies of that Administration led directly and indirectly to the entire changing of the manner in which politics is conducted today, the way that public policy is conducted today and the way that so-called U.S. styled capitalism is conducted today.
I have great respect for you, sir. I wait for your articles with great anticipation. You genuinely love this country, that is quite clear to me. Rather than seek to deflect blame from the Reagan Administration, I would humbly request that you consider writing an article that I believe needs to be written. I am a liberal, I make no bones about that. However, I am oft times a conservative also. I am extremely conservative in my views of personal responsibility, in my view of government staying out of the private lives of citizens (except in issues which impact the public good such as healthcare and education). There are many aspects of conservatism that I admire. The biggest problem that I see today is that the very concept of conservatism has been conscripted. It has been conscripted by the religious right, by capitalists and by amoral individuals who care not a hoot about the greater good. Even so-called "true" conservatives such as George Will and William Buckley refuse to see the truth of this, or they are simply too cowed by political pressure and their desire to maintain power and access to really talk about it.
I know in my heart from reading you, that you understand what I am talking about. I have no desire to see conservatism destroyed. Just as I have no desire to see liberalism nor any other political, social or philosophical view destroyed. The differences between Americans and the beauty of our system to allow all views to be heard and reach a mutual agreement on how we conduct our lives, is what separates us from the rest of the world. It was the founders' dream, it was their intent.
For the first time in my life, I fear. I fear for this country. I fear for our future and the futures of our children. Conservatism has been kidnapped and perverted. Mr. Goldwater had it completely wrong. Extremism in the pursuit of liberty IS a vice. Liberty has never flowed from extremism. Extremism can only lead to tyranny. We are seeing that today.
I thank you for your time, sir and wish you well."

I keep say'n; "Who the hell is guarding the Nuclear Football?".....
I sure hope there is a Presidential Psychiatrist, because that man is going to snap and destroy the world.
Just 10 days ago, President Bush's bizarre sense of humor seemingly reached a new low when he made a 13 year old girl cry during an event in Cleveland. Today, the compassionate conservative returned to one of his favorite past-times, making light of the disabled. This time, the victim of President Bush's childlike callousness was an Iraq veteran - and double-amputee.
Surrounding by servicemen during a speech today, Bush recalled his conversation with an Iraq soldier who lost both legs in combat. The President then said of him:
"He's a good man, we're gonna get him some new legs."
For the details, see:
"Bush to Iraq Amputee: 'We're Gonna Get Him Some New Legs.'"
I particularly enjoyed David Weinberger's comments about the internet.
The good news is, when Bush is in for his colonoscopy tomorrow, they're going to clean his teeth and straighten out his tonsils, in the hope that it will help him enunciate more clearly.
The bad news is, while Cheney is acting president, he's appointing Kristol acting vice-president.
So that's it folks, it's official, Saturday, July 21st, 2007 is Armageddon. The Rapture is upon us. No more fake prophecies, this is it.
If you're planning to be one of the 'Left Behind', let's all meet at Chooz Moi, big party!!!!!
