Mike's Blog Round Up
Washington State Representative Jay Inslee leads the charge in Congress to impeach Washington DC pathological liar Alberto Gonzales.
Dick Cheney returns to Larry King Live tonight for the first time since his 2005 declaration of the insurgency's "last throes." Meanwhile, faux war opponents Ken Pollack and Michael O'Hanlon argue the U.S. can still achieve "sustainable stability" in Iraq.
The captain of the victorious Iraqi soccer team wants America out of his country. Americans want the Iraqi parliament in session. And no one gets out of town more than President Bush.
George W. Bush's biggest fear about expanding SCHIP to provide health care coverage for more children? It might actually work. Texans, of course, have lived through this before.
In Alaska, Ted Stevens and Don Young may be taking the Bridge to Nowhere directly to jail. In Oregon, Gordon Smith has some fish tales to explain.
Divorced three times and estranged from his children, Rudy Giuliani of all people claims Democrats want to create a "nanny state." Back in New York, his successor Michael Bloomberg has a checkered past of his own. Elsewhere, the politics of cleavage claim another victim.

What's a "nanny state"?
If they get something on Ted Stevens, I'll just call it a case of Madam Karma comin' a callin'. I'd love seeing him handcuffed and wearing his Hulk tie.
pissed off patricia @ 3:
We all have to start talking and laughing like her:

Ok, I admit it, I have a Fran Drescher fetish.

Here is a quick definition of a "nanny state" but it has other various meanings (see link below). Personally, I think people like Guiliani want to make a "daddy" state at least that is term I like to use. You know, the "daddy" state that tells you horror stories, scares you, hands out harsh dicipline, watches over you every where you go, and "protects" you from the supposed evildoers of the world or that may be hiding under your bed. In other words, a dictatorship or authoritarian regime.

Rats, forgot the link. Here is is:

Dont forget molesting you and then threatening you with what will happen if you tell ...
What happened to the Gonzo impeachment call? There's no mention in the Dallas Morning Nudes, CNN website nor New Yahk Times.
Thanks for all the info everyone. :) Yeah, I want govt to control my life. That's why I love having to remove my shoes before I get on a plane. Wondering if the repairman is casing my house for the gov. I'm sorry Rudy, but I'm not following you here.
"Meanwhile, faux war opponents Ken Pollack and Michael O’Hanlon argue the U.S. can still achieve “sustainable stability” in Iraq."
In other words, the U.S. is trying to achieve "sustainable stability”, through military force, which is a perspective that will always differ in meaning from person to person.
Rudee Ghouliani also said-
When will people wake up and realize that this gasbag is just Bush reincarnate, with an upgraded, smarmy New York demeanor. Do they really believe that getting Joe Sixpack's vote is as simple as constantly chanting "tax cut"? 'Ooh lookee here, I'll give you money!!'
Only now it's money and ice cream!!!
Thanks for the great posts . One comment:
"Michael Bloomberg has a checkered past of his own. "
The link doesn't reveal a checkered past at all. It has inconsequential gossip. I believe calling that gossip a "checkered past" is irresposible sensationalism that moves people further from the truth rather than closer. Just an obsevervation.
Tax cuts were bush's carrot in 2000 and a lot of people took the bait. Look what it's gotten our country. If people could stop being greedy for just a moment it surely would help.
Where is the fake outrage from faux over Ted Stevens (D)?
ysbaddaden @ 8:
I use to respect you.
Waylon, did you follow the "gossip" link to Huffington post? It's has more than gossip there.
pissed off patricia @ 19:
Talk about greedy or more appropriately, spend thrifts has anyone seen this latest headline. I mean, they just raised it to almost $9 trillion in March 2006.:
Paulson: US should boost debt limit
WASHINGTON - Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson on Monday said the United States may be unable to pay its bills this fall unless Congress raises the government's borrowing authority, now capped at $8.965 trillion.

Dr. Matt @ 21:
I'm sure she hears that alot too.
ysbaddaden @ 24:
LOL.
It's almost high noon. What's the word from Arlen?
Foxattacks has a new video on Fox versus global warming. Excellent!

Sitemonitors, I hope you don't mind my posting Foxattacks stuff. I just found them, and they just got started, and already they are having an impact. People have been waiting for an organized way to do something about Fox News, and this seems to be it. Hallelujah, I say.
Hi Pissed Off- I didn't click through to the Huffinton Post. The link provided was just (puritanical) gossip. A horny man is not news or relevant in politics. (To me anyway.) But I clicked through and saw the info about the sexual harrasment allegations. Maybe that could be called a checkered past - although doing so requires one the accept the allegations as truth. Thanks for pointing it out.
Goodbye WSJ.
