Well, Shaq is black, and he can dunk. Maybe they have a image retrieval system and when you type in Duncan Black, Shaq comes up because he's a dunking black.

It seems that fox has liberal bloggers and Blacks Americans lumped together on some database and the computer programed to select a image of the subject of the news story assumed they were doing a story about a black person.
Maybe it is Shaq's new movie role. Wasn't he Shazzam?

If Fox ever has reason to show a pic of Lewis Black, I'm betting they'll put up a photo of Ray Nagin.
At first I thought with Fox giving out the names of the Liberal Blogs was a good thing, but now, I think the reason they are doing it is to get the trolls over to wreck havoc on the threads. Take a look at TP. Man, the trolls, just kill the threads.

FOX is actually telling the truth when they quote what real Americans think. Well at least 70+% of us anyway.
And who is to say if any of the quotes FOX' Hume used are not by a politically conservative oriented poster. Many conservatives like me hate the Iraq War and are appalled at the performance of the Bush Administration. Six and 1/2 years of failed policy. Not one single success... Social Security, Education, Transportation, Economy/Labor... even Defense is overpriced/ under performed.
Let FOX do their schtick. It's the only time you'll hear the truth there.

I don't get it and never will. Faux News calls Pollack and O'Hanlon liberal bloggers and the exact opposite is true. By calling them liberal bloggers it give the whole story a different slant. It is no longer a sane and truthful blog pointing out the lies and propaganda of a far right blog, witch happens a zillion times a day, but now its just some liberal blogs turning on their own. It give the story a unspoken evidence that most liberals will take the opposite point of view of any story that benefit's the Bushies no matter what the evidence. People are not familiar enough with Pollack and O'Hanlon's work to know the difference so the story will be excepted without question. I often wonder how these people see the world in their minds eye if everything should go the way they want it because in my minds eye it would be oh so very bad for almost all everyday people. By the way congratulations to Logan we now belong to the same club that my father put me into about 45 years ago.

I though everyone would get the reference. Fox has a history of not being able to tell one black guy from another. A few months back they ran a photo of John Conyers with a story about the crook, Jefferson. They made the same mistake with Obama recently too. This is a riff on that. All blacks look alike to Fox. I'll put up links when I get home.
Hmm... The qualifying remarks made within the paper itself were: "At Least Militarily". This paper predates Al Maliki dissing Petraeus and the Sunni faction leaving the government. We are slipping further and further away from political stability there. This "surge is working" mantra is an outright lie.
