Melanie Morgan has been on a rampage of hate and fear mongering this week and we're not about to let her get away with it -- and neither is Keith Olbermann. Keith calls her out for her hateful, violent threats toward Vote Vets' Jon Soltz referring to this comment:

Why do people like Melanie not get grilled by the shows they are on as to why they are out of touch with the majority of Americans? They are never asked why they consider their minority opinions on the war as being either accurate or accepted by the thinking majority.

In my opinion, this is just the start of another attack by non-serving shrews and bastards against the people who actually serve our country. I'm assuming that this woman has no military (as well as intellectual) credentials.
She does indeed appear to be inciting violence against another person. If I were the victim of this shrew, I'd press charges.

I knew wingnuts were out of touch with reality, but now I have to add they are also ignoramuses. With all of the knowledge readily available to look up, yet they still have no clue about things like the policy about uniform-wearing regarding reserves, I can only come to the conclusion that many of their beliefs are based on figments of the imagination - not based on real-world knowledge at all.
Morgan is simply making a living. She is without conscience, and of course, should be ashamed for insulting a war veteran, but her schtick is parroting the right wing mediots who have cornered the market on smear-merchanting.
What is more disturbing is that she is seeing increasing face time on mass media. However, if she, Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity and Wiener Savage want to be the face of the Republican party, I say, let them be. They represent a dwindling percentage of true believers (29%?) who need to hate to feel as if they are better than others. The majority of Americans have awakened to the truth, and Morgan and her fellow offensive mouths won't be able to change reality.
I guess Melanie just wanted to make it clear to everyone why she is no longer employed as a guest commentator on The News Hour: she's unhinged.

As A Guy said, Scruzman and anyone else who tries to frame Cheney's comments from 1994 as "pre-9/11" vs. "post-9/11" are being either obtuse or disingenuous or worse, both.
It's quite simple. Cheney was aware of the difficulties invading Iraq would cause us (which we now know he was absolutely right about now that we see what HAS happened). But instead of making that case to the American people that "Hey, this is going to be tough, and we're going to have some serious problems once we invade. As I said in '94 and '00, but this is still important enough to move forward on, despite the hurdles," in the run-up to the war Cheney and the other neo-cons were painting this as a "greeted by liberators," "war will pay for itself," rosy scenario when they knew very well it was going to end up a "quagmire." THAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CHENEY'S STATEMENT FROM '94 (reaffirmed in 2000 during the VP debate). One can't make it any clearer.

Morgan is with the Move America Forward folks who is sponsored and the brain child of Russo (who Hardball has also used on the show). The other character involved and who also has been on Hardball with Stolz is Eric Egland. Eric Egland , is running for Congress against Doolittle (R. Ca, Abramoff corruption related). Egland is the guy the White House has been promoting. Egland is also in the reserve!!!!!!!!!! Look back at the videos posted here of Stolz vs. Egland, esp. regarding the Pat Tillman story that was on Hardball. I wonder if MSNBC and Hardball contract with the Russso folks, that is Morgan, Russo, and Egland to comment on the show, because they are sooooo far right.
