Reminder: Keith Olbermann & Countdown On NBC Tonight 7pm EST

Don't forget to tune in and catch Keith on your local NBC affiliate at 7:00pm EST prior to the NFL preseason game. We'll be watching and post some highlights for those of you who aren't able to catch the show.

Hopefully this will give Keith a wider audience so more people will be exposed to someone who actually is a journalist, and not just a White House spokesperson.
My listings show that it airs after the game at 9pm pacific...?
I hope to hell that Keith has a "special comment" tonight. How about a response to Bush's pathetic, desperate comparision between the Vietnam War and Iraq? BALLS Keith!
Is it tape delayed for west coast?
Keith was absent from "Countdown" for the entire week --- do we dare hope for an explosive expose on Billo, Fox Noise Channel and other operatives of the Bush Propaganda Ministry (or, as Rush himself calls them, "water carriers")?
Didn't they say it would be an hour of best of Odd Ball stories, or some such?
Just a hunch, but I'm not convinced NBC would want anything particularly caustic from KO.
The addition of Olbermann to NBC may very well herald in a post-Bush era in the US media where the truth is told, the Beltway media elite are removed from power, Fox News is successfully marginalized and both the media and the government are held accountable. God Bless Keith Olbermann for doing his job!
The NBC listing has it for 7pm Pacific Time, same as East Coast...while Central and Mountain time listings are for 6pm. Time delayed? Typo? Or (gasp) the diversionary move of a nefarious hand? Guess I'll just VCR it from 5pm onward to be safe...too nice outside to sit by the boobtube...

Besides Spokane, Wash. (KHQ), are there any other NBC affiliates in the country that will NOT carry Sunday's Countdown?
All other pacific northwest NBC affiliates in Washington, Idaho and Oregon will carry it at 9 or 10 pm.

KING TV in Seattle has KO on at 10 pm tonight.
NBC affiliate in Reno NV NOT carrying it........................Why does this not surprise me....

I'm in NY and I am expecting it to start here in about ten minutes. My computer clock says 6:50 PM Eastern Time. Hope this helps people. The game itself is due to begin in a little over one hour from now. Synchronize your TiVos.

It's annoying that the West Coast is 4 times zones away from the East Coast. 10 pm does sound a bit better for news than 4 pm - which would have made the program LIVE. It's supposed to be a regular "Countdown". Only this will be able to include this morning's talk show festivities.

I just called KRNV in Reno she says "we are carrying it at 10 pm because that is how the National NBC Network scheduled it"????? There web site does say 9 Pm but she says 10PM... I have Charter Cable there guide does not show it at all......

Ya know, I'm confused about this too. I looked up my local station schedule and there was paid programming on from 4-5 PM PDT. Why couldn't they have put Keith on? It would have been only an hour earlier than we here on the West Coast normally see him anyway.
The Baltimore affiliate choose to run a NFL Films special on the ravens instead.

At 4pm, here in LA, we got someone named Lester Holt delivering the standard corporate media distractions that pass for news. No sign of KO.
4pm we got NBC news and now Whacked out Sports........no Kieth. Not happy. Looks like his show is going to be on at 10PM. Big of them to finally find room for Keith.
Here in Portland we have Time Life music paid programming.
It looks like he's not on at all in Philadelphia.
The local NBC affiliate is running pre-game and post game shows instead.

NBC affiliate WAFF-TV channel 48 in Huntsville, AL, is showing Keith!
Just called my local NBC affiliate's newsroom (KNTV - 11 San Jose, CA) to find out why they weren't running Countdown before the football game. Got a live person in the newsroom who didn't know anything about it - thought I was talking about the pregame show. I told him no - it was Countdown, been advertised all week, to air before the game. He told me he didn't know anything about it. THIS IS THE NEWSROOM! If they don't know what's going on in the room, how the hell are they supposed to inform us on what is happening in the world??

I hope Keith follows up on this by actually appearing on his MSNBC show this week.
Maybe that was mean. But Countdown just isn't as good without him. Although, I was impressed that even without Keith, Countdown did rather well in the ratings last week.
Gosh, if KO took off an entire week to prepare for the show he put on tonight, he
must have been on another planet during that time period. One of the worst KO
shows I have ever seen. Well KO, time to go back to some other media outlet..

I like the "Tired of the Same Old News?" commercial for Countdown they keep showing. I do hope this Sun showing helps expose more people to the show to help KO continue to make more serious gains against Faux News.
Phoenix KPNX Channel 12 will have Countdown at 9pm MST after the football game, after Extra... Maybe we need to let them know how much you enjoyed Countdown.
From the Left Coast-Our station is running it at 10:00 PDST, wouldn't want the kiddies watching stuff as liberal and obviously left-wing slanted as Olbermann, sure hope I can stay awake that late.

Not one of the best Countdowns....sorry. Great to see him on mainline NBC but Mo Rocca segment should have not even been thought of...no good. Fineman seemed to want to be a star...more expression out of him than in past years together...grin. Worst person in the world pretty normal cast of characters but I like the fact Keith took on the Rush statement....and of course it was promo fodder for the football game...which gave Keith to stand with one foot in the world and the other in sports....done well.

Actually I am increasingly more disappointed in the amount of time spent on "fluff" and the

Tonight is no exception and hope that K.O. will reclaim his hard hitting commentary on the

I completely agree that I could care lest about the travails of the pampered and overpriviliged, but the first two segments contained several things that we are all familiar with, but that I have never seen on any MSM (especially broadcast) outlet. Half a loaf to a starving man is wonderful!
I missed the first 10 minutes - were any better the the rest of the show? The part I saw was oddly toothless and not very funny, alas.

I have been watching Keith faithfully since his beginning at MSNBC but I must say that he came off as an elitist snob on national television last night. His demeaning jokes and guest commentary on celebrities that people are sick of hearing about on supposed real news is about to become old.

I cant believe the crap this Keith Olbermann can come up with. Do we need to investigate to see if he works for the Red Chinese? How un-American can one FREE White man living in America be?
