Jon Stewart and The Daily Show (fresh from their Emmy Award win) bids a fond farewell to Gonzo the not-so-Great.
Gonzales has done more to promote short-term memory loss than any Hispanic American, breaking the old mark held by ... Cheech.

Ironically Cheech Marin is another former pot smoking Mexican that wants to put pot smokers behind bars.

The one of the true terrorist in the administration has left the building. I just hope that some country takes him out of the country without due process, does a little water boarding, holds in in a black prison for a few years and then gives him a chance at justice before a military tribunal.
But really, most of all, I will remember the laughs.

Time for Gonzo to spend more time not being able to recall what he did with his family.

Cheech has said a few times on talk shows when Nash Bridges was on the air, that that he no longer does drugs, and that was a time in his past... but I never heard him make any reference to arresting people who use drugs... or even a "don't do drugs, kids" message, for that matter.

In one of the episodes of Nash Bridges, Tommy Chong was a guest star. And Cheech's character arrested him.
I've never forgiven him since. There's your proof! Nash Bridges is as close to reality as it gets.

Thank you Jon Stewart for bringing a fitting finale to Gonzo....bot like the drivel of a performance that was aired ALL weekend on cspan..over and over they showed his damn goodbye ceremony...and at the time I sat there and thought Please Jon or Stephen DO SOMETHING with this....
