TVNewser has learned Laura Ingraham is joining FNC as the primary fill-in for Bill O'Reilly as well as for Sean Hannity on Hannity and Colmes. Ingraham will also contribute to other FNC shows...
Looks like MM has been dumped for LI...I will lay odds that Malkin's obsession with the Frost family cost her the Factor spot. And Bill O'Reilly has always used a Conservative talker as a fill in so...please...stop with the "I'm really an Independent!" routine.

Just fyi, I talked with Michelle once about the O'Reilly thing and I specifically asked her if she had ambitions to take over that show one day and she said no, and that she really doesnt like doing it, so this whole thing may just be her sick of it. Ingraham is quite ambitious so she might have "wanted it" more than her too.
Big deal, I think TVNewser is the only one who cares what is happening at Fux, outside of blogs on the internet.

Mrs. Malkin (I believe she is married, though I feel sorry for her husband), made two mistakes:
1. The harassment of the Frost family. That was just horrid and I am sure even Mr. O'Reilly had to go "blech".
2. She went after someone who has been with Fox News a lot longer and has more allies, Mr. Rivera. Mrs. Malkin should have known that calling for the firing of Mr. Rivera wasn't going to sit well with the brass.
Isn't Ms. Ingraham the same person who on election day, 2006, declared that people should call the voter assistance line for the Democrats to jam it so as Democrats couldn't get to the polls? Isn't she under investigation by the FEC?
Well, I guess if you can have someone who sexually harasses women headlining one of your more popular programs, you should have someone who called for the violation of election rights of others, as well.
