It's Sunday morning, so it's time once again to let the FOX News panel of Brit Hume, Mara Liasson, Bill Kristol and Juan Williams to get their wargasm on. It's absolutely disgusting to watch Brit Hume and Bill Kristol get all flushed and turgid while discussing bunker busting bombs and America's military might trying to scare all the other nations straight. Big talk from overcompensating little men who are all too brave with other people's lives.

maybe we should ask blackwater if they have time and can use bush's immunity to:
bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb fox news.........
We need to start using the word "Treason" a little more often in this country. Because that is exactly what is occurring on a regular basis. What events or people would you use the word "Treason" to describe when talking about events in recent history.
Bush. PNAC. Terrorist Spending. Missing Millions. ETc ETc. I'm sure there's more...
Treason isn't a bad or inappropriate word. It is a word that is used to protect the United States of American and the Constitution in which we live from tyrannical or foreign powers. Use it.
We should scare our European allies?
It’s absolutely disgusting to watch Brit Hume and Bill Kristol get all flushed and turgid while discussing bunker busting bombs
12. Since both permanent war and heroism are difficult games to play, the Ur-Fascist transfers his will to power to sexual matters.
This is the origin of machismo (which implies both disdain for women and intolerance and condemnation of nonstandard sexual habits, from chastity to homosexuality). Since even sex is a difficult game to play, the Ur-Fascist hero tends to play with weapons -- doing so becomes an ersatz phallic exercise.
Fourteen Warning Signs of a Fascist State

Russia said any American attack on Iran would be an attack on Russia. Reading between the lines: If the US uses nuclear-armed B2s to attack Iran, Russia will launch nuclear weapons at the US.
the war agenda will continue after the next election, even if democrats are handed the reins of control.
thats why blackwater is so confident to expand its operations
thats why the military has 14 permanent bases in construction
thats why the US is building a gargantuan embasy
thats why all the expansion of executive powers have been signed
thats why all the curtailments of the Bill of Rights have been passed
Nothing changes if follow the same phony left/right paradigm of approving the same pre-selected list of think-tank CFR, Trilateral, globalist frontmen/women.
President Bush's disturbingly flip comment last Wednesday about Iran and World War III not only revealed his apparent comfort when discussing global conflagration. Bush's gaffe also showed the common vision between himself, the man most likely to succeed him as head of the Republican Party and those who advise them both. For George Bush, Rudy Giuliani and the likes of Norman Podhoretz, the only dispute about "world war" is whether we're already fighting it and what number we're on.
For the details, see:
"Bush and Giuliani on the Next World War."
Precedent: Media-Personnel Complicit With Advocating Unlawful Activity, Adjudicated With War Crimes
"Free speech" doesn't protect advocating illegal warfare. The problem with attacking Iran, as was the case with Iraq, is there is no imminent threat, as required. Other nations may lawfully attack the US and those in position of policy making and advisory positions. Advocating an illegal war, and broadcasting that illegality could mean Fox news guests are implicated in war crimes. The same was said of broadcasters in Rwanda on issues of Genocide: Radio personnel in Rwanda were adjudicated with war crimes for advocating unlawful activity, as these Fox Guests appear to be doing in re Iran. Or is Fox news saying only some media needs to be responsible and accountable?
Fair and balanced. Ha! Just don't talk about it: "Do it".
I'm not a violent man, but I'd sure [deleted - do not advocate violence here.]
Well said by Nicolle Belle. These neoconservatives are morally and emotionally bankrupt not caring in the least if many thousands of innocent Iranians are killed By America's bombs. As in Iraq, if the U.S. goes ahead and bombs Iran, more Muslims will once again flock to the cause of the terrorists. Yet, despite the belligerent stance that the Bush administration has taken, Congress has shown very little hesitation in giving Bush authorization, again as in Iraq, to wage war against Iran. It is way past the point that Congress starts acquainting itself with Article I Section 8-Powers of Congress, which states, among other things, that only Congress, NOT the executive branch, can declare war. Simply another example of why impeachment seems to be the only way to ensure that Bush and Cheney do not end up causing more death and destruction around the globe. Impeach-now.
dadams @ 1:
Naw, Bush's immunity is already spent on bombing AlJazeera…
what is more scary neocons still have so much presence on t.v. newspaer after iraq disaster.
Why are NPR commentators and "journalists" doubling as FAUX NOISE commentators?
Because NPR is a propaganda outlet, just as FAUX is.
Which is why I no longer donate to "public" radio, except community based radio (such as the excellent WERU.org, in Blue Hill, Maine).
Never ceases to amaze me that the people that promote wars, and death and murder, rarely partake in it........you know what they say:
...When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die
I took this occasion to link up an appropriate L7 song over at my blog that only my cats read.
But to what "Hello" said... You really don't have to even read between the lines. It is right there in black and white. That is a good thing because there seems to be a certain lack of reading comprehension among wingnuts.
Erroll @ 11:
Why would the Congress impeach? They are willing collaborators to these crimes.
The people have to impeach the Congress and the Executive.
The only way that is possible is a mindset of 1776.
Its a government of oligarchical criminals.
Fox is State Sponsored TV.
It's fuckin' TREASON. Bill Kristol, Rudy Guiliani, Rove and all these chicken hawk fucks who were too scared to fight until now. That sexual reference to what these guys are doing is exactly right. And Larry Craig sickens me too, putting down Bill Clinton over a little enjoyment. The connections between the Bush Family and Nazi Germany. The Bush Family and Saudi Arabia. The Terrorists and Pakistani ISI. I mean come on. This stuff isn't fiction. It sucks to have to discuss. But the truth is important here. Uncomfortable as it is. Speak.
Teacher says: Every time someone says NPR is liberal, a car battery is attached to an angel's testicles.
.
Agent Provocateurs working for the FOX Propaganda Information Network.
They're arguing over the moral imperative of bombing nuclear reactors in Iran.
Think about the consequences...
And then remember Chernobyl...
This is what they espouse.
.
How can Kristol even try to posit that only the U.S. can attack with such "shock 'n' awe" -- has he never looked at a globe and noticed China, Russia, or even Pakistan? He's like a blood-filled tick, except lower.
Fox is State Sponsored TV @ 19:
All of the networks are state sponsored TV. The elites own the media and the corporations that advertise on them. Google Operation Mockingbird. Some media forms are more blatant than others in their propaganda.
I can't decide if Juan Williams is a fool, or if he genuinely thinks he serves a constructive role in this idiotic, biased dumbshow.
Either way he's being blatantly used. He's the designated foil in a propaganda effort aimed at facilitating yet another failed war. They may as well stick a dunce cap on his head labelled "Token Librul America-Hater". The only reason he's there is for the neocons to sneer at. Kristol's fatuous smile after he attacked Williams' position speaks volumes - fuck reality, forget the fact that they are actually talking about beginning a new war which will be exponentially worse than the colossal 4-year fuckup in Iraq. As long as the Neocons can score a few cheapass debating points in 'Fair & Balanced' (read 'Unfair and Unbalanced') terms, all's right with the world.
Jesus, the condescension Kristol and Wallace display toward him - I hope Fox pays Williams a lot of money, because he comes off as the designated house n*gger. How can anyone watch this and not throw up on the goddamn TV?
Oranqutan:
I agree. the only way to stop this build up to an illegal war is Impeachment! And we have to remove the obsticle to impeachment; Nancy Pelosi can be replaced while in session. Please read here and write your Representatives to urge them to push for her removal.

Layne @ 10:
A cream pie would fit the bill quite nicely...but oh wait:thats so "uncivilized" -not like dropping a bunker buster on an Iranian Hospital for example.
pinkobait @ 26:
I disagree. Kristol wants a war? The US military should invade his office, and bring with them a uniform that will fit him, complete with parachute, then take his bloodlusting ass, throw it outta an airplane over Iran with a sign around his neck that says..."I'm American and I'm here to kill all your women and children."
No where do I detect any sign of military service on the part of Hume or Kristol. Or maybe I am I remiss in this regard because they certainly are "in the army" of typical republican chickenhawks. Hume is a bonafide draft dodger to boot with his Vietnam deferment. Similar to Romney's view of service to country could it be that Hume and Kristol believe that being "unfair and unbalanced" wingnut talking heads on Fox (bad) News is service to their country? Are Congressional Medals of Honor in store for them?
[deleted]
Not that it would do any good. Kristol and his shit-stained cronies have been sneering and preening about the certain success of regime change, democratization, the search for WMD's, the necessity of torture, maintaining Iraqi unity, the Surge, trashing the constitution, etc, you name it, for 4 years.
Nothing will wipe the smile of this bastard's face. He didn't just drink the Koolaid, he invented the recipe. It flows in his veins.
Hello @ 6:
China back Iran as well .....
Ron @ 4:
Apparently so ........ I've doing what I can there to sever ties with the US any way, and anyone who doesn't do what the US wants gets threatened, it's the american way.
FOX: "If you liked Iraq, you're going to LOVE Iran!"
Fuck War.
kablooie @ 32:
Amen.
It's all just a big game of "Risk" to them...
I join #10 above in not being inclined to violence. However, I would make an exception were I to have a chance to administer a very swift and hard kick to the place where it would really hurt on both Hume and Krystol. And when they were bent over in pain, kick them again in the chicklets. The shame is that they don't read C&L and learn what real people really think about them. Far too many of the talking heads are carrying Bush's water. Twitty, Timmy, everyone on Faux,
Limpberger, et.al. What a sorry state the media is in.
kablooie @ 32:
I'm not anti war, I'm pro peace.
What you focus on tends to happen.
great brit
I mean twit
explain to the iranians
how bush is just bluffing
heh...
Nicole, why are you uploading clips from the Onion's website ;-)
google kristol being pied and you'll see it's happened before. It should happen everyday.
Speaking of bombing, now that I think about it, what bothers me about Kosovo is the fact that Clinton was such an opportunist. He could have done something about the genocide earlier, but he chose to wait until most of the Albanians there were wiped out, so that he could "save" the day, when he was just cleaning up the mess. I really don't want a wife to a guy like that to become President-especially because she only stayed with him for that specific reason.
I'm convinced that the entire point of the bomb Iran stuff is just noise to obscure the myriad other problems the administration has. The more news time is spent on the Iran nonstarter, then less time there will be for Telecom Immunity stories and discussion. When talk of Iran comes up, it means the administration is very weak and/or timid on some (other) point.
So, Brit Hume apparently thinks that after our humiliation in Iraq that Iran is going to be scared of our threats to invade them? We really do have enemies out there in the world, and they're just aching for us to destroy ourselves by overreaching. Does Hume buy his own hubris about the kind of shock and awe only the American military can bring? We're hardly a threat to anyone at this point.
The token female thinks that it's such a shame that our allies haven't been supportive? What fucking world is she living in? What makes her think anyone in the world is going to support another American military endeavor?
And Bill's upset that his Kristol Ball is being questioned about intelligence. ("Here we go again?" Yeah, here we go with your tired, old world view again -- the one that has ruined countless lives while you sit in your air conditioned offices and spew punditry.) Does Kristol realize that virtually in one breath he both defended Hume's call for open threats AND shot down William's call for openness to the Congress?
And as for that Israeli strike -- regardless of how one feels about Israel, one of their specialties has always been solid intelligence and surgical strikes. This last horror they engaged in in Lebanon is the only war they feel they have lost. Because they gave up their usual precision for neo-con-style shock and awe -- just bomb the shit out of everything until the people submit. What? They didn't submit?
Look, you neo-con-men chickenhawks, you want to have laser-like intelligence to prevent nuclear proliferation, and precision strikes to prevent nukes from getting into the hands of terrorists? Fine by EVERYONE! It's the wanton, careless, incompetent, chest-thumping, deadly, destabilizing, illegal wars we don't want!
Oh, right. It's the WARS you DO want. Everything else is just icing your poisonous cake.
Juan Cole is
barely competent
gets blasted at the end
anyway
heh...
shouldn't these guys be in church on a sunday morning instead of doing the devil's work?
i'm just sayin' it just seems a bit strange that christians should be kissing these guys' boots, dontcha think...?
EH @ 41:
bring it on bush
heh...
It appears that the State Department needs 40 to 50 diplomats from the US Foreign Service for openings in the new US Embassy in Iraq. No one seems to be volunteering and a call up will be needed. Maybe Kristol and Hume should volunteer . Experience is not a requirement as experience was not required for people that were part of Paul Bremmer's ReConstruction team.
The people in this video all give the impression that they Just Need To Get Laid. As an alternative to the "fuck war" concept, I hereby propose: Blow-Jobs For Peace. This way, nobody gets hurt.
Yup, the nimrod Fox News journalists still have the man-love to bomb Iran. And not a lick of any of those nimrods served in the military!!!
That question posed by Kristol at 2:45 is ludicrous.
To paraphrase - Did an Israeli strike on Syria, which apparently took out a nuclear reactor, make the Middle East more safe or less safe?
I can't believe he was serious. Turn that around Kristol, imagine if it was Syria attacking Israel or if it was some country X taking out an American nuclear reactor. Do you really think that the world will be safer and there would be no retaliation by the side that got attacked? War breeds more war Mr. Kristol, end of story.
[deleted]
You'll have to wash the siht off your hand after doing that.
The fact is they are *wrong* and we should really engage conservatives in fact based discussions on this. This requires that liberals go beyond gut-based screams and even beyond fact based screams. I often see liberals talk to repubs in a shouting manner, because liberals are naturally outraged. The thing to do is to calmly establish the facts for yourself first. (IAEA reports for example) and *lovingly* and engagingly talk to people who pray for bombing Iran. People who agree with Kristol are humans, although they deny the humanity of liberals by calling them "America haters" on a consistent basis.
However, I have come to understand that neocons of that fashion truly, deeply FEAR "Islamofascism". I am not joking, they are really, really afraid. Even though to us it is so clear this is irrational, we HAVE to engage them on that front, because that is where they are coming from in all earnestness ! They believe that Islamists want to, and have the means to CONQUER our land. That is what they TRULY fear. We have to, have to realize that, then go from there in a loving, patient manner. Why do they believe that ? It is irrational. Think of something you really love. You really, really love. Don't you get irrational about losing it sometimes ? Well that state of insecurity is where the nationalists come from. Understand that, then you know why they talk like this, deep down they believe the US is WEAK, that is why they get off on displays of American power, it calms them. Its time to show them why this fear they have is irrational, and why through it they are helping destroy what they love so much. Lastly a quote from last week's column in the LA Times :
"the American discussion about Iran has lost all connection to reality. . . . Iran has an economy the size of Finland's. . . . It has not invaded a country since the late 18th century. The United States has a GDP that is 68 times larger and defense expenditures that are 110 times greater. Israel and every Arab country (except Syria and Iraq) are . . . allied against Iran. And yet we are to believe that Tehran is about to overturn the international system and replace it with an Islamo-fascist order? What planet are we on?"
Planet Cheney.
It's Sing-A-Long Time with Brit and Bill! Ready? All together now...
If you cannot find Osama, bomb Iran.
If the markets are a drama, bomb Iran.
If th'insurgency ain't Saudi,
And your alibi is shoddy,
And your tastes remain quite gaudy,
Bomb Iran.
If the globe is quickly warming, bomb Iran.
If the poor will soon be storming, bomb Iran.
We assert that might makes right,
Burning oil is our delight,
For the empire we will fight,
Bomb Iran.
If we have no allies with us, bomb Iran.
If we think that someone's dissed us, bomb Iran.
So to hell with the inspections,
Let's look tough for the elections,
Close your mind and take directions,
Bomb Iran.
If public discontent is growin', bomb Iran.
If your incompetence is showin', bomb Iran.
If your politics are sleazy,
And concealing that ain’t easy,
And your manhood’s getting queasy,
Bomb Iran.
Fall in line and follow orders, bomb Iran.
For our might should know no borders, bomb Iran.
Disagree? We call that treason,
It's the make war not love season,
Even if we have no reason,
Bomb Iran.
(Gee...for some reason, this song sounds awfully familiar to me. Why might that be, I wonder...?)
"But there may be others we want to bomb, no just in Iran" That little smirking piece of shit Kristol makes me sick
I could almost see the hardons grow. More War the more they keep thier jobs the more thier pathetic lives continue. Be careful what You wish for. Madness. I used to be an agitator-Now I am old and just sit back and laugh. we are all fools and desereve what we get.
ConcernedCanuck @ 27:
I volunteer to chip in for chute and make the sign!
liberalbiasboy @ 53:
Oops "not" just in Iran.
Here you have a "full house". It's a sad day when Juan Williams is the voice of reason. As the rest of the bums, they are laughable. bloody william, the skanky bitch, lurch and wallster are goons. chicken hawk chicken shits. I am so tired of being spoon fed this "we are big and mighty and will kick your butt" line. We are NO DIFFERENT than the monsters of other empires. They too had the might. They too made the ultimate mistake of thinking they were invincible. It's a sad day for the once proud United States of America.
Israel bombs Syria, and Kristol says the Middle East is safer, so by analogy, if the US bombs Iran....
The difference is, if the US bombs Iran, it will be war. Every other nation in the region will wonder if they are next on the list. No one wants to be another Iraq.
Russia does not what the USA to control the entire region, and have permanent bases all the way along its underbelly. Nor does China.
Thank you for using the word "turgid" - it is SO incredibly apt. Wait - show of hands here - especially you "bloody" Kristol . . . .
They don't like to take any chances do they? - four hawks against a single voice of reason.
Chickenhawks right down to their scrawny little chicken-scratching feet.
*
What's with that chick's eyes? What a panel: the needs-to-pinch-a-stool Hume, smirking-dough-boy Kristol, and bug-eyed Babette. Send them over as the shock troops. I'd run. A quivering Kristol would be the first to drop a load in his diaper.
I know how to make television history, it involves William the Bloody and Hume Crony.. I mean Brit Hume on camera.. I must refrain from watching clips ever again! These folks don't even realize that the Middle East is on it's way to complete ruin thanks to President Douche. Turkey vs. Kurds, Shia vs Saudi, Iran vs. Sunni, ISRAELI/PALESTINIAN (sorry about the cap there SiteMonitor!! And of course, Douche is not responsible for I vs. P). This will not lead to anything good, again, thanks President Douche!! Thanks so much!!! Good yob there Douchie!!!! (Rectal douche, that is)
Medical Diagnosis by Video @ 14:
you are one of the gop assholes that don't like npr because it is NOT under your phony gop reichwingnut influence. nice try. you need a little permanent visit to your creationism museum as a display of modern "head up butt" stupidity.
fox muse is the pits of journalism.
Juan said why don't they tell congress what they want instead of hiding the fact chimpy wants more money to bomb Iran. bloodyboy said, "I think they can figure that out."
WTF is that? Congress is suppose to figure shit out?
And I heard melting face hume say rah, rah, rah.
We can't let everyone know. Not everyone you fucking idiot, just congress.
How about these repug assholes stop their bullying and pandering and get with the real world.
I'm not giving up yet but I have this bad feeling that it's over folks. The way that this current generation of young people are silent about the insanity that characterizes this government tells me that peace and egalitarianism are gone. I believe that since Viet Nam the folks in control, (call them globalists, corporatists, whatever you want) have found a way to dumb down the populace and especially the young through electronic media; removing them from the voting/decision making equation. Social responsibility is just not as attractive as reality tv, video games, celebrity, and all the other trappings of a vacuous society. I hope that I'm wrong but the evidence, led by the lack of spirited civil disobedience and protest, and especially those missing at the ballot booth leads me to the edge of despair. Show me that I'm wrong. Please.
"B2-bombers with HUGE butt.. ehm,, bunker busting bombs,, that's hard to say"
The idea that our "foreign policy" would consist of where you are targeting is really disgusting.
no Hume or Kristol family tree members will be deployed for the latest mission to "save western civilization"
fox muse is the pits of journalism.

repug's motto: be one of us or die
I get the impression these jokers are attempting to puff up the US to "scare" our allies with all this rhetoric.
But the joke is on Kristol and Hume. I don't think the allies our anyone else for that matter is much impressed at all with our military might lately.
If anything, an attack on Iran will bring condemnation big time. Russia will only have so much patience before responding.
Oil is our lifeblood. My proposal is for the those countries who supply our oil to use it against us if we invade one more Muslim country.
It's rather simple. Kind of like disciplining children. They threaten to do something, take away their privilidges.
Those countries need to mobilize and say "enough is enough" when it comes to American aggression.

If that's what they want, they should stop outing the spies who are trying to get it for us.
Jesus only love white men, and especially neocons! They kill real gooooood !
Sorry about the lack of finesse here in pasting a link. A long-time fan of C&L, long-time opp of my senator, Mitch MConnell. This is also OT, but I got a feeling that C&L will find this development most interesting:

It's this kind of war cries that is going to put a Democrat in the White House and replace the Republicans in the Congress with more Democrats. Republicans sure are stupid.

Great point in mentioning that song. L7 was spot on! Nothing like a little war to get the chickenhawks horny!
Best line from that song...."Wave those flags high in the air, as long as it takes place over there!"
PurplePatriot @ 70:
I don't get it. I mean, I get the context. It was from the other thread, in which I was asking you to provide examples of your claims that C&L has a track record of attacking journalists merely for asking tough questions. I get that.
What I don't get is why, instead of answering me there, you instead decide to come to this thread and be a smart ass. I can't critique something you say, and have a debate about it there? You have to come to another thread, where I'm clearly just ranting, and act like a smart ass?
I don't get it.
I am against any attack on Iran.
The problems America's elite leaders have with Iran are of their own doing from the 1953 covert overthrow of a duly elected leader named Mohammad Mossadegh after he announced that the oil industry would be nationalized. Both the British and the United States said no to that and ordered a covert coup d'etat, using the CIA, to do so. Eisenhower was the president who ordered the coup in Iran in 1953. I am so tired of everyone praising Ike's "military-industrial complex" speech when he so utilized the CIA to overthrow Iran and Guatemala using the same war instruments used during the Cold War years. The CIA came under its own during the Eisenhower administration. Eisenhower's decision to overthrow the duly-democratically elected Mohammad Mossadegh still has ramifications to this present day.
So the next time anyone points to the "military-industrial complex" speech of Eisenhower, just understand, he too was a hypocrite, and his (Eisenhower's) remarks were directed at John F. Kennedy.
America has never been honest about its own international wrongdoings over the years, thus learning nothing. America uses its power in an irresponsible way, as well, which most of you likely know, by now.
Once the bombs drop as Iraq has shown, there is no turning back, as the chaos begins. The war aims of Germany in WWI, with their overwhelming power did not turn out in the end how they had it written down.
America for what its worth did not win either WWI or WWII all bt itself. When America has tried to do wars against nationalist populations in the last 50 years for a prolonged period of time by itself, the end result has been continuous failure. America needs to wake up and join the League of Nations at the United Nations and stop acting like the world's bully and the world's last rogue power.
Karen @ 77:
You don't get it because my comments in the other thread are pending moderation for some reason. Thanks for acknowledging that one can just rant without being held to some ridiculous standard of documentation. Maybe they'll release my post soon.
Who watches this crap? What a bunch of tards. No offense to developmentally disabled folks. These people are real scum. Although, Juan Williams has been making some sense lately.
PurplePatriot @ 79:
Perhaps your post simply got lost in cyberspace. It happens. I've had it happen to me. It can be a pain to have to type everything over again, but they're not necessarily moderating you. Have you tried posting again your words again? (If so, I apologize, and don't know what to say.)
As for a ridiculous standard of documentation, actually, if you really want me to go through and document that which you have sarcastically asked me to, I can. It's not hard to Google examples of Kristol's desire for war, the countless lives his neo-con advocacy have ruined in Iraq, etc. You know that, or you wouldn't have predicted and preempted fellow C&L-er's calling you a troll.
I'm more than willing to be shown that C&L has a track record of attacking journalists merely for asking touch questions. That was your accusation, and it certainly isn't my experience here. Maybe I've missed something. But you weren't ranting. Your post was thought-out and well-written. It included diplomacy, and you acknowledged that Russert's question to Dodd was silly. You were arguing a point. Asking you for the evidence of your accusation is hardly holding you to a "ridiculous standard of documentation." Two or three links would have sufficed.
Why is it that those who screech loudest for war are always the same ones who wouldn't be caught dead within half a planetary circumference of one?
There has been no treason committed. What Kristol and Hume speak of is the absolute truth. It is the left wing loonies that will bring this country to its knees,
Foreign policy for idiots. Or wait...is that idiots for foreign policy?
Five2Nine @ 80:
fox TV is not the problem. they're just ticks on limbaugh's ass, putting a visual on the uncontested repetition spit out to 50-70 mil Americans every week on the GOP talk radio monopoly. fox couldn't exist as is without the TR monopoly.
until progressives recognize talk radio does the propaganda groundwork they'll continue to play politics without a front line.
GOD GET THESE IDIOTS
Hume: "Sanctions...could cause some strain and difficulty inside Iran, and thats probably a good thing."
Strain and difficulty? Like what happened in Iraq during the sanctions? 500,000 children, give or take, killed. No one to buy medicine from. And thats only counting the kids.
Coincidentally, thats approximately 250,000 less angry young men the US would be fighting right now.
Sanctions are part of war. What's the difference between starving and bombing? In both cases the general population suffers the most, with the poor getting right fucked. Saddam had no problem retaining power during the sanctions. Why is this never mentioned? (rhetorical!)
"they might be the subject of a devastating military strike of the kind only the United States of America can mount"
Oh Brittany, how I would like to put your stump of a head into a wood chipper, you are either so stupid you don't know there are other countries in the world, or are you so full of neo-con cool-aid that you really think that the US is still the preeminent military power in the world. Let me tell you about two other countries in the world, Russia and China. They used to be second and third in the world in military strength. After the last seven years, they have become 1st and 2nd. Keep up, it's really quite embarrassing to have a war monger not educated about warmongering.
Then to hear KKKristol talk about bu-bu-bunker busting bombs is kind of like listening to him whack off in a men's room stall next to Larry Craig. He just has to talk about the Israeli strike in Syria (oops did I let that slip again) that "supposedly" took out a nuclear reactor. Hmmm.. if the Israelis really did take out a nuke reactor in Syria don't you think chimpy/darth would have plastered that across the headlines of every paper in America? Really. Are we so fucking stupid as to believe the 51'st state of America is going to successfully bomb a nuclear reactor in Syria and they are only going to "leak" this information. My God, repugnicants must be VERY stoopid if they believe this shit. Then his dick-eating-grin at the end is really the piece-de-triumph. If I had a baseball bat I would wipe that smile off his face faster then he could mollest a 13 year old boy.
THEN, Mara Liasson completely misses the point of the failure of multi-lateral sanctions failing. She blames it on the failure of the bushies to work with their allies. HUH?!? How 'bout the facts. The US is the only country so deluded as to believe this Israel-neo-con propaganda. Hello! The rest of the world knows this is shit and isn't willing to respect it with even the slightest of resolutions. I'm all for blaming chimpy for his stupidity, but this is just spin to prop up the lies.
There's a special place in hell waiting for Rupert Murdoch.
The New World Order cheerleader whores are sent out to the government to do their water carrying. As someone mentioned, why are these New World Order WHORES allowed to commit TREASON against our government.
Sounds like we need to echo 1776 from these TRAITORS to our US Constitution!
It's really sad to have these sick bastards go on and on about a subject, none of them know anything about.
The entire world is watching this crap play out with these goons all over the national airwaves with the kind of crap they spew.
Will somone pleassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, get these idiots off the net works.
Big talk from overcompensating little men who are all too brave with other people’s lives.
Alas. The socio-political damage caused by the curse of a small penis.
Ms. Liasson has a big button, however.
"What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is brought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?" - Mahatma Gandhi
It is a shame these chicken hawks preach war but one can bet they will not put their chicken hawk bodies in harms way, too bad like the abortionist doctors there is not some backfire on them from those who dislike the war they are not hounded 24/7 and exposed as nothing more than chicken hawk warmongers...
FOX News Sunday: Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran
Sung to this tune?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJI080uA9_A
First the Republicans destroyed the health care system in this country, next the mentally ill were tossed out into the streets, and eventually these unfortunate people all found a home at Fox.
The fact that asswipe Britt Hume actually got broadcaster of the year award is an embarrassment to the industry. I hope that all recipients in the future refuse it on the grounds that it was once given to a fascist enabler that parades as a journalist. What a dick.
And while I'm ranting, Williams can F**k himself. These token "liberals" on faux need to get a job and stop helping this regime. The rationalization of "if I dont do it then who will?" is bullshit. You are a stooge, and helping them sell the message.
Iran is not a threat… sure they see an opening caused by Iraq to increase the power and influence of the Shia, which makes sense and I don’t blame them given the historic rivalry with the Sunni… Sure they are likely giving arms to Shia in Iraq as part of this, which are likely being used to kill Americans… although far more Americans are being killed by Sunni insurgents… also, name one instance where a Shia suicide bomber has killed Americans.. they are all Sunni and likely come from Pakistan, Egypt or Saudi Arabia..
Sure they want to be a bigger power in their sphere of influence…. that is their right…. as it is the U.S., China, Russian, etc….
And sure they may want a nuclear bomb (although not proven), as is their right like the U.S., Pakistan, Isreal, etc.
Before and after the Iraq war the Iranians actually reached out to America…. the Neocons shot them down… a big mistake…
Iran would likely be a far better partner with the U.S. than Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan… countries where all of the extremists come from…
It looks to me like Iran has had no part in the recent violence direct at the U.S. by Al Queda…. in fact they are likely also an enemy of this Sunni terrorist group….
And so they have a wacky President who on occasion says ridiculous things… but, that means nothing as he has no real power in Iran and even his own people, including the clerics that run the country think he is wacky and do not agree with everything he says…. you cannot attack a nation, who has shown no really aggression toward the U.S. because they have a wacky president who says stupid things…. sounds like another President we know…. who has a habit of saying stupid things…. I think he said something about World War III the other week…..
Iran would not even be an issue if it was not for oil and the Israeli lobby in the U.S……........
Can't watch that video for too long. Turds all of them.
I bet Bill kristol got a woody after that opening gambit from chris wallace.
"there might be others we want to bomb" - Bill Kristol
WTF ?

LOL! WHAT?! NPR is no propaganda outlet...they just, (unlike most MSM outlets) give both, or more sides to a given story. and that includes having conservatives, as well as moderates, and liberals on their programs, both as guests and reporters...And I could be wrong, but didn't Juan Williams leave NPR a few years ago?
That is who you're referring to, right?
my family has lived in this country longer than it has been known as the "united states" however i feel as though i no longer wish to live here, much less be associated with it. i mean jesus christ, how ignorant and stupid can we be for letting this happen.
Juan just looks like a lonely lonely man, helpless among this rabid group of war mongers.
Look at history.. US didn't become great by fluke.. it is the people and collective actions as a nation which made it great. History books are full of examples where great nations and civilizations were reduced to nothing due to the bad policies of a ruler or a king. George Bush has set the country's wagon rolling towards decline.
The real sorry part of this is that Bush is not even bright enough to realize or repent and there is no one to challenge him.
All democrats should vote for Ron Paul or someone like him to get US back on track.
Last night I walked into a bar and saw Bush and Cheney huddling in a corner engaged in lively conversation. Curious, I walked up to them and asked Cheney: "Sir, I don't want to intrude, but I saw you two talking very excitedly about something. May I ask what is it that got you so excited?"
"Well, we were discussing World War III."
"And just what might that entail?" I kept on asking, a little bit concerned.
"Well, we're gonna probably kill 70,000 Iranians and a beautiful blonde."
"Sir, with all due respect, why'd you wanna kill a beautiful blonde?"
Cheney then turned to George w. and grinned widely: "I told you, Mr. President, nobody's gonna care if we kill 70,000 Iranians. Go ahead, you can do it!"
Even if Russia said that it will consider an attack on Iran as an attack on Russia, it his highly unlikely that Russia will react in that way. If Russia attacks the U.S., it is almost a certainty that the U.S. will attack back. Is Russia willing to wage war against the U.S. for Iran? Not likely.
(Note: I am not advocating attacking Iraq. Just making a point).
I believe Fox News Anchors should get a taste of devine justice grecian style: rostead in the Brazen Bull so that they can delight us with the sound of their screams, resembling an infuriated bull.
In response to #106 how America became "great".
The theory is that after WWII the U.S. was the only power that wasn't devastated by war. We had the infrastructure in place and everyone else was spent/bombed.
And by "great", you mean we have the most shopping malls in the world, then I suppose we are really "great". *puke*
The problem is is that they have to keep the war moving - onto Iran now - through propaganda or another false-flag operation. Our government has to keep the heat and the attention off of themselves and their illegal war of conquest. If there was no war then people would turn their attention to our leaders and how it all got started in the first place. And the Jewish Zionists and Israeli's can't have that; then they would be the ones getting bombed.
Unfortunately Clinton or Giuliani (heavy Jew Zionist and AIPAC supporters) will be heavily advertised on Jewish Zionist controlled media then elected to keep the war rolling and the attention off of Bush and Cheney and their criminal administration. The election will be rigged to elect another puppet to forward the Jewish Zionist's plan of eradicating as many Muslims as possible. Oil is just the bonus in the game for our greedy little puppets in "power".
And this is what they call news on that 'station'?
I believe this is the theme song running through Bush's head:

Present visit of King of Saud to UK which couldn't happen in the last 22 Years, is most likely to give green to UK/ US for attacking Iran.
Jalatul Mulk is usurper of Saudi Kingdom, he doesn’t travel much due to fear of his life,
Hope a muslim practicing Bedouin can save the world from wrong doings of this veiled terrorist to stop massacre to expanding from Karballa to Persia.
Truth Be Told @ 7:
Don't think so. Even under Big Dog Clinton, we didn't have our troops permanently deployed in unwinnable wars.
Cut this false dichotomy bullshit right now. Anybody who can't tell the difference between what we had under Clinton and what we have now is not paying attention.
