This really is beyond the pale. Even after Dennis Kucinich reminds Hannah Storm that his wife, Elizabeth, is a professional woman, and then relays his wife's Master's Degree in International Conflict Resolution, let alone her vast charitable work in Africa, the CBS talking head persists in asking to see the tongue stud.
The Kuciniches are to be commended for politely telling her, in so many words, to stuff it.

However, let's keep this in mind: These are morning "news" shows. I'm sure right after Kucinich was finished, Hannah simply shifted over to cover fall fashions and holiday cooking secrets.
Kucinich is my favorite for president, and he was back in 2004 as well. But... I'm afraid crap like this probably does hurt him. 30 years younger definitely makes it look like she's in it for the money, which reflects poorly on both of them in some people's minds.
Personally I don't think it matters, but enough people will.

I've seen UFOs. Several of them at once hovering over our cars. It was an incredible experience unlike anything else I've ever seen.

Hummmmm Report this evening; but after less than 5 minutes I was so angry
that I turned it off. Brit was reporting on "how well things are going in Iraq"
and his primary basis: The fact that the number of Iraqis attempting to enter
Syria has reduced substantially.
What a fool Brit is; that or he has his head up his ass. Within last two weeks,
as reported in the NYT, Wall Street Journal, NY Post, Washington Post and other
print media, Syria has officially shut down/closed it borders to ALL Iraqis citizens
attempting to gain entry into that Country..and in fact, has imposed a new regulation whereby those estimated 1.4 million Iraqis already within Syria MUST

I am absolutely astonished that your newscasts have become even more irrelevant. I think I hear Murrow turning in his grave. The Tiffany Network? Yeah, right! Hannah Strom’s interview with the Kucinichs was pathetic. She really knows how to trivialize the candidate I support, his wife, and the current poor state of international relations. Is CBS making money on the making America more stupid? To me watching this interview was as if Hannah Strom asked first lady Laura Bush if she every wonders if she killed the wrong boyfriend.
I am truly disgusted.
The first time I saw Hannah Storm, she was covering the NBA on NBC. She should stick to sports.
Hannah Storm may as well have asked Kucinich, "Yeah, yeah, Congressman, we all know about your wife's credentials but how is she in bed?!"
And did you see the way Storm leaned forward when Kucinich said that he would talk with all parties involved to bring about peace? It was obvious by the look on her face she was thinking, "YES! He just said he would work with the terrorists!!!"

It has been obvious to me at least that CBS has already chosen their two candidates for the '08 election and they do not include two of the more qualified, least divisive candidates on the panel: Kucinich (D) and Paul (R). Just this morning I read some misinformation about Paul when CBS stated, "Texas Republican Ron Paul, the Libertarian presidential candidate who has lagged in the polls but raised as much money as top-tier candidates". Apparently, they have a problem stating he is actually a Republican and has been for some time.
