Wednesday tweety led the first half of hardball with OJ....I'm sure it was a relief for him to have that much time pass so he wouldn't have to admit to the existance of the scandal...he then played the new rudy commercial all the way through and analyzed it. I think he and foxnews among other rudites are going to make this about a woman scorned and not about murdoch and his henchmen suborning perjury to get kerik a job and solidify rudy's position. It has been stunning at the absence of commentary about this outside of Olberman, Schuster and Abrams. Cooper did 2 minutes on it last night with a smirk.

When it comes to Chis Matthews, the best description I can think of is misogyny. When he isn't belittling he is sexually harrassing. Suggesting that Murdoch will have to pay her off is interesting, but maybe there is something Chris is missing. Let's see........Bernie has been under investigation for over two years. Judith gets fired last December. All of a sudden the FBI comes up with some "pillow talk" and within ten months, Bernie is indicted. I could be wrong, but then again, I'm not in journalism and don't have access to investigators. Matthews is an idiot. Remember he thought George Allen would be a good candidate for President.

He has to address it because it's in the headlines, but he's clearly not happy about having his show hijacked by her self-serving publicity stunt. There's a huge case to be made against Kerik and Rudy, but give Matthews some credit: he knows when a showboating blowhard should get a cold shoulder.

I'm so fed up with MSNBC that I will soon scream. Starts with Morning Joe ...he was being a little careful up to last week and with Mika setting him straight, but now he's going into his stupidity act like he was before his A.M. show. He should; he's the king of showboating blowhards. Granted, this is a repulsive group of adulterous, tabloid criminals, but he seems so deliberately obtuse about the Kerik/Guiliani connection. And he looked so upset having to admit that his latest man-crush favors mobbed-up thugs who use apartments meant for 9/11 rescue workers to boff his two mistresses while his wife was pregnant. If this were a Democrat, he'd practically have a seizure due to excitement.

It is impossible for the human mind to comprehend the totality of the absolute horse'sassness that is C. Matthews.

Isn't is curious that Chris Matthews and Bill Maher have a sort of blind spot in their logic from time to time.

With Maher, it's "9/11 was an inside job." As an atheist, Bill is convinced that religion is the cause of all the worlds woes. If 9/11 was an inside job, it leaves him without an explanation for terroism as a product of irrational religeous zealotry. It makes it harder for him to paint the islamic and christian terrorists with the same brush.

But, with Chris it's even more silly. He's been selling Giulani as the "ugly duckling" favorite to win the Republican nomination in spite of Rudy's obvious moral and political flaws because his "shrewd awarness" tells us that the fear card is going to trump the morals of conservatives. If Giuliani gets in real trouble before the primaries even get started... Chris doesn't look so "shrewd" or "aware."

I know this is all a little tame compared to the idea that he's shilling for GE, (which does on a regular basis, true) but, I think it explains his "personal" reasons for pounding the story back... to save his prediction.

Truly amazing. Tweety, most everyday knows and understand more about everything than any of his guests, But how would we know, he never let's them talk or finish a thought.
