Wednesday’s 'Worst Person In The World' begins with a Bronze to Kellyanne Conway for her overactive racism imagination, then a Silver to FOXNews host co-host John Gibson for leading his guest with "The Democrats have vowed more failure" and the question "Is 'stop the war' a winner?" complete with graphics to match, and the Gold went to T. Boone Pickens for trying to weasel out of his one million dollar bet if anyone can prove 'just one thing' false in the Swift Boat Liars Veterans for Truth ads he helped finance.
Isn't Gibson the loser in 'Back to the Future' who constantly lands in a truckload of manure?
I didn't know Pickens was involved with the swift boaters. Too bad. I'd seen him in several interviews in the past and he always struck me as a likable and straightforward guy. Apparently I was taken in by his charms.
mr. pickens did not serve in military...he needs to keep him mouth shut. two divorces? real man of values?
English is the default language for air traffic controllers WORLDWIDE. They are all, in every country, expected to have a minimal facility in English...
Ms. Conway and her ilk should chill. Even if right-wing illiterates do succeed in destroying the English language here in the US, it will be preserved and carried on by the 300 million Chinese citizens presently mastering the tongue. There really is nothing to worry about...
I remember seeing John Gibson on CSPAN on a panel with the big three anchors
from CBS, NBC, ABC. Gibson, in so many words, dutifully apologized for working
at Fox News and for the cable channels very existence. He humbled himself as if
he were wondering what the hell he was doing there.

Personally, I've never understood the racism or stupidity against speaking Spanish. Excepting Brazil and a scant few others, Central and South America are growing economic power with about 500 million Spanish speakers. Having 30 million yanks who can speak Spanish is a boon, not a bane.

T. Boone built a billion dollar oil empire from scratch. I think it's safe to say he is a tad bit crafty. Pickens intends to dupe Kerry into revealing the entire documented record of his Vietnam service; under the pretext of using those documents to verify Kerry's claim on the $1 million.

It's hardly a welch for Pickens to ask for verifiable proof before he pays the wager.
Kerry promised to release all those records three years ago. Shouldn't be a problem for him now, especially when a million bucks going to a military charity is on the line.

Only difference between this and T. Boone's example is scale.
$1 million for a guy like T. Boone is the equivalent of $10 for the average working stiff. There is no practical reason why he would welch on the bet. The offer is still in play if Kerry agrees to the simple terms. The conditions of the wager should be perfectly reasonable to any objective observer.
