Just off the top of my head i can think of several corupting possibilities with this scenerio Ashcroft or no Ashcroft. Kickbacks to the prosecutor for choosing the "right" overseer. Kickbacks to the "prosecution defered" company for being accepted as the overseer and/or kickbacks to the overseer for not charging too much.

Privatizing "Justice" is going to work about as well as privatizing utilities.

Screw it, let's just let the private sector run everything at this point. I mean, it seems like they already o so we should at least make it official so we can stop pretending to have a representative government and just accept our subordinate lives indebted and indentured to the ruling class. Let tehm listen in on every bit of communication we have with no limits, let them swindle us with inflated loans then bail them out with our tax dollars while letting us rot due to a radically biased bankrupcy law, let them send yet another generation off to fight for wars of profit and let them install religious doctrine into our phony leadership so that we can dedicate ourselves to serving our masters and give up our liberties, our freedoms and our individuality in hopes of attaining our just rewards in heaven when we're dead.
