Monday's Bushed! segment on Countdown, that keeps you up to date on the plethora of Bush scandals, starts with waterboarding and the news that new Attorney General Michael Mukasey told the CIA not to cooperate with Congress in their torture tape investigation. How does pushing that nomination through seem now, Schumer? Next was the matter of the White House visitor logs, for which a judge ruled yesterday that they ARE a matter of public record (even money odds that the White House will continue to fight it) and finally, more Gonzo fun -- poor guy had his ABA Lawyer of the Year award taken away. Guess who else was in the running for that title? A hint: Regent and Duke...

Feinstein wants this all buried, as she was clearly in the loop on waterboarding et all.....She might have known way in advance
about the tapes being destroyed.
At any rate, she is working with the Bush'es to make sure the real story

I didn't understand Schumer and Feinsteing saying, "Mukasey is the best will get out of Bush." Well dammit, if he sent someone else up they didn't like, they didn't have to approve of that person. I am glad the ABA came to there senses. Gonzalez is not to be held up as a role model under any circumstances.
