Tom Tomorrow's "Year In Review"
Our favorite political cartoonist Tom Tomorrow encapsulates the top scandals of 2007 in 12 concise cartoon boxes.

Tom's the best at chronicling the Addingtonist atrocities
On BBC's International Version, Main Story, 'Iraq bombs.......' there's a link to Iraq war casualties, which has very well done graphs of Iraq casualties, US casualties, Coalition casualties, by month, since the inception, before and after the surge, etc.etc. Take a look. I learned some things, and I thought I was pretty 'up' on the situation.
As always, the News, analysis of the News, reviews of the News, are best gotten from cartoons, comedy shows, and foreign sources.
The MSM is good if your want a daily People, Star, and Inside Hollywood visual and print review, plus the weather if your computer goes down. It's also ok as a soporific time-killer if you're a computer illiterate, too-behind on your mortgage payments to buy a computer, or afraid of new-fangled electronic stuff, and hate books.
By the way, re: the Tom Tomorrow review, Mother Jones keeps a damned good running time-line review of the Bush mal-administration since day one. If you haven't seen it, take a look. You'll know where to go when you're trying to remember, 'When was it The Dummy said...?', 'When was it Cheney did....?, 'When did Rice do that stupid...?'
Preacher Boob @ 2:
so why not post the link?
CoIntelPro @ 4:
I woulda, if I coulda. I don't know how. Never took the time to learn what I probably should have about these black boxes, just learned enough to get by.
So many scandals, he can't even cover the whole year with 12...that's only part one! But a useful review, hell can't even keep up with all of the rotteness coming from the Repugs (although he does devote one cartoon the the steller (not) Democratic leadership.

For a PC:
- View the page you want to link. Move your mouse arrow up to where the web address is shown in the narrow window. Right click on the address and select "Copy".
-Return to this window (or open up a new window with C&L) and scroll down to the comments box.
-Click the link box just above the comments box. Right click in the lin box and "paste" the link into it. Or sometimes you can just skip this and right click in the comments box and paste the link directly.
That's it!
Ironic everyone is rewarding themselves with presents today while half the people in this world are dying of starvation, homeless, or getting killed by the war machine isn't it?
Merry Christmas, C&Lers.
We here at Pottersville agree that Christmas has become too commercialized and that we tend to forget in the hyped-up hoopla of getting and spending the fundamental, original meaning of Christmas.
In this spirit, my lib'ral cronies and I have decided to celebrate Xmas at Pottersville in a more dignified and less profane manner by presenting the liberal's version of Jesus Christ Superstar, or Dubya Bush Superstar.
Have a safe and happy holidays.
In keeping with my generally crabby disposition, I received the latest(?) James Howard Kunstler book-

Here comes the apocolypse, pass me the sunscreen, please!
Also- Tom Tomorrow is great stuff.

Tech Support told me what to do:
"Get on all fours before your screen, scratch the floor vigorously as if you were try to dig yourself a nest, shout ‘Grawk, Grawk, Grawk’, spin around in a circle three times, and Voila!, you’ll find everything works fine."
xoites defends Constitution @ 11:
By golly geewhillikers, I did that, and my printer ran off 10 copies of 'VOILA', in red.
Now what?
Che's Lounge @ 7:
Che's Lounge, thanx for taking the time to help. I tried once, but got nothing. I copied your post, so I'll get it. (One of these days)
Preacher Boob @ 5:
One left click in the URL, then press and hold Ctrl and press c (Copy).
Go to where you want to paste the link and press and hold ctrl, then press V (paste).
Easy as .........
Do they have Nobel prizes for cartoonists? The Larry Craig panel was a coffee-spraying-fun one!! (Poor pathetic Larry. Poor poor Larry.)
RockmanEnough @ 14:
OT (My on topic remark is above.) Does anyone know of a website with all these computer keyboard "goodies"? I'm a bit like Preacher Boob (black box dinosaur, if I may?), but can copy and paste. (Instead of Control + V, I use Shift + insert-- does the same thing.)
One of my favourites is Control + F, "type word" and scan document. But I digress. Perhaps on an open thread. (It's a real time-saver though!!!!!!!)
RockmanEnough @ 14:
Thanx, Rockman. Have you copied. Into something else right now, but will get on it soon. In the meantime, any chance you could post the link I referenced on BBC? It's really a good source for Iraq war casualties, sliced and diced in any way you can think of, including such oddities as sectarian violence deaths plotted by Iraqi province, all kinds of stuff.
OK, Rockman, here's the BBC link.

Thanx a lot, Rockman, Che's Lounge. You taught me a lot.
Love it.
