It seems to me, and I realize conspiracy theories are not necessarily in "vogue" on any given day, the Bush/Cheney Republican Fascist Dictatorship has more to gain than anyone from Bhutto's assassination. We know that in order to be effective dictatorships require hefty doses of FEAR, CHAOS, and mistrust among the general population to stay in power. With the so called "surge" working in Iraq (violence and deaths have diminished somewhat), the Republican Regime needed another front to scare the hell out of the American people and to focus the electorate on "who can protect you best". Pakistan seems to be that front due to its political instability and the fact that they REALLY DO have nuclear weapons. The original post I posted was to point out the strangeness of the christian right, (both in the US, and some here as well) to claim the moral high ground over muslims, claiming they are pagans that must be driven back into caves, and murdered, when in fact they claim that Jesus was a prophet of god, while claiming religious fellowship with the jewish faith, who do not hold Jesus Christ in that high regard, as you yourself pointed out.
If you are sufficiently of a fool to start throwing out comments like that, managing to read threats and abuse into such comments, then you have a problem, not me. Norse is because I am from Norway, and bloody happy to live in a such liberal nation way to the left of your democrats, so kindly don't even try to lump me in together with your politicians.

I think for the most part this is a true statement. Muslims do consider Jesus a profit. From what I know of the Jewish faith, which I will admit is very little, the Jews consider Jesus merely a guy that died on a cross like many other men. They don't view Jesus as a prophet and certainly not the Son of God.
This thing really wont improve until we take a neutral stand and stop the unconditional support of Israel. Every brown militant in the middle east that opposes Israel expanding it's borders is not a terrorist as we like to coin them. Prime example, the Lebanon conflict. Israeli soldiers were 20 miles into the Lebanese border and CNN, Fox News nor MSNBC reported as to why this act of war occurred. Do you think we would stand for Mexican soldiers to march 20 miles into Texas? I doubt it. But none the less Hezbollah were viewed as terrorists and not an armed militia. There are about 25 million veterans in the U.S. They are well represented in any occupation, vocation or career you can thing of and many you probably never heard of. For better or worse they traverse the spectrum of the human condition from the bum in the White House to the bum under the bridge, but most of us fall somewhere in between and manage to make a real living and sometimes a real contribution to the real world.
These people remind the world, everytime they open their mouth, that Americans have a high percentage of very stupid people for an industrialized nation.
