isn't it sad that it takes Republicans so long to realize what we have known for years...Republicans don't like government so they don't run government well so that we can start to privatize everything, making the Republicans in power very rich. Where the Democrats know that if you run government and push the organizations to be the best they can be we can have a working government for the people, except that it doesn't make the Democrats the obscene amounts of money that the Republican plan does, but it's better for the average American and THAT is what is important. So the next time you hear a Republican saying the economy is great...just tell them to jump in the nearest lake.

The documentary Why We Fight, directed by Eugene Jarecki, and especially Chalmers Johnsons' book Nemesis, expound upon Wise Bread's topic of why the U.S. military and its budget has run rampant in this country. The U.S. military budget is more than that of ten other countries and, as Wise Bread shows, could be put to much better use in areas such as education as well as health care, schools, libraries, infrastructure, etc. Ratcheting up fear and hysteria against a scruffy band of terrorists is a wonderful way of allowing the U.S. military to establish and maintain dominance in this militaristic country of the United States.

I am amazed that the public is buying into this "hit her head on a lever" theory. You have thousands of people with cameras, cell phone cameras and video cameras taping this event from every possible angle. This is evident by simply looking at the footage of the day. Yet, we are shown only a grainy black and white video of when the shots were fired that tells nothing of her death...along with a very hasty burial. Sorry, I don't buy it. It reminds me of yet another very grainy picture of the Pentagon finally released years after 9/11 after far too many FOIA requests, yet the FBI still retains the clear images of FL77 taken from more than 80 Pentagon security cameras and states they cannot be shown to the public. WHY? What do they want us to NOT see?

The quick burial may have something to do with her religion. I know some religions allow only so many hours before burial. As for the theory of her hitting her head and dying that's just ludicrous because the doctors already said she died as a result of being shot several times. This morning they were showing a guy with a gun in his hand behind her just seconds before she was shot. The bullets that hit her came from behind her. As best I can remember, they said one of the bullets went into her shoulder and exited her chest.
They are making these bullshit claims about her hitting her head so they won't have to investigate who the hell murdered her. Maybe they already know, why else try to brush the whole thing aside this way.

They are saying more than "she bumped her head and got a big owie" (I dunno... maybe that's the way they're dumbing it down in Fox Noiseland). What was actually reported was the explosion blast threw her into the lever, and that's what killed her. If you remember the initial reports, they weren't sure if a hunk of shrapnel from the explosion hit her in the head.
