Yeah, at the Air Force Academy, all the little jesus images on the flatware handles are turning green.

They should fix their dishwasher.

Bhutto's friends learned the hard way.

If you're not sitting on an ocean of oil, it's a no-no to critique the American Empire.

Go, Hugo.

Torture is good for flaunting your unconstitutional authority, and scaring the crap out of the folks who were forced into having a torturer represent them.

Our taste buds are on their last legs.

We've swallowed more Bushit than any mortal should endure.

If you want a co-conspirator for a con, the MSM is an excellent choice.

They'll unthinkingly swallow any load of crap, and regurgitate it immediately (though seldom accurately).

Donations to the GOP. Spencer Arbraham, the former Michigan Senator and Bush's Secretary of Energy seems to have been the chief beneficiary, receiving $4000 of that. Whether Abraham is a fellow neocon or there is a Harvard connection (as with Alan Keyes, who Kristol roomed with while at Harvard) I'm not sure.

I've been paying a lot of attention lately to the Bhutto Assassination. From many strategic websites that I have read the focus is on a grainy photograph taken just seconds before the bombing. In it, there is a man wearing sunglasses and a nice western style suit and holding a gun (apparently pointed at her).  He is also seen standing in close proximity to Bhutto's vehicle.  Just behind him is said to be the suspected suicide bomber wearing the traditional Pakistani garb.  A man wearing a western style suit is not the way the Taliban and/or Al Qaeda operate.  Though it could be a disguise.

Other items being looking at is the odd movement that happened Just prior to the bombing.  it is said that the Pakistani police evacuated the area and after the bombing hosed down the area within one hour.  Then you have the police enforced, external only autopsy.  Bhutto's husband also is said to have requested that no autopsy be performed because he does not trust the Government.

Finally, you have the Pakistani elections were to take place on or around January 8.  How coincidental that this bombing took place just prior to that and left Musharraf with no viable challenger to his power.  It makes no sense for Al Qaeda or the Taliban to take out Bhutto.  They could stir up possibly a civil war by taking her out but then that would force a Pakistani military crackdown on them as well.

Bhutto's party the PPP is blaming Musharraf for the bombing and I agree.  Musharraf has a lot more to gain by killing Bhutto than Al Qaeda or the Taliban.  All of the evidence is pointing to a Government authorized ISI hit and the PPP see it.

And this posted today on Yahoo is or was desired goal. With Bhutto's assassination, Musharraf can postpone those elections indefinately for "security reasons" and remain in his dictatorial role unchallenged. Musharraf is just another U.S. backed Saddam Hussein.

Pakistan polls set for delay

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Parliamentary elections seen as key to restoring democracy are set to be postponed for weeks in the wake of Benazir Bhutto's assassination, Pakistani officials said Monday.

The requests from our dem reps are really coming fast and furious this week ........ It's almost the end of the year........ time's running out .......
My response:
Dear Nancy,
you've got a lot of nerve asking me for more money after the poor performance you and Harry have turned in this year. I don't know what the thugs have on you two but the only explanation I can come up with is that you are being blackmailed by them. Why else take Impeachment off the table? You're going into the ring with no gloves on and you got smacked down at every turn. Nice work on the war funding; you really scared the shit out of ol' Chimpy. Please resign and give Cindy Sheehan a chance because you guys have been, In Al Gores' words, A MISERABLE FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\
Happy Festivus
Please go away.

Congrats to Steven Hart on the book

In order for the Air Force to go green it will have to do a lot more than just convert to cheaper fuel. It is my understanding that bombs render what they pounce on black. Further, it is also my understanding that for the safety of aircraft carriers all aircraft dump their fuel into the ocean right before landing. Not sure the ocean gives a shit how much it cost.

"The Existentialist Cowboy: Benazir Bhutto paid the ultimate price for daring to say that the US imperial policy of propping up tin horn dictators causes world terrorism."

Bhutto was assassinated because she stupidly gave up her wealthy life in London and Abu Dhabi in order to chase after the $1.2 Billion in Swiss banks that Musharraf promised to release to her.

Killed by a sniper during a (arranged) suicide attack, she is less of a martyr and more of a case of GREED. Meanwhile, the press treats her like some sort of feminist, which is odd in a corrupt, rich, bigoted supporter of sharia who was about as much a person of 'her people' as Boy Wonder is an expert in dog handling.

Paul in LA's picture

Oh, and I think the odds of the sniper being an American CIA operative are better than 50-50.
