Sunday Morning Bobblehead Shows

The usual suspects making their rounds, and a lot of double dippers on the Republican side from the looks of it. Will Ron Paul talk about his exclusion from the FOX Republican Debate tonight? Especially considering that he did far better than FOX favorite Rudy Giuliani in Iowa, I'm not sure what justification the FOX people are using other than not wanting their online polls skewed again by the Paulistas.

ABC's "This Week" - Former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.; former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass.; former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C .

CBS' "Face the Nation" - Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.

NBC's "Meet the Press" - McCain.

CNN's "Late Edition" - Huckabee; Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas; Gov. Bill Richardson, D-N.M.; former Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn.; Mahmud Ali Durrani, Pakistan's Ambassador to the U.S.

"Fox News Sunday" - Romney, Huckabee.
"Chris Matthews Show" Can Obama seal the deal in New Hampshire? Can Hillary regroup? Will McCain win New Hampshire, and can he win the nomination? With Dan Rather, Katty Kay, Andrea Mitchell and Patrick Healy.

Reading that piece gave me such a good feeling. I don't want to watch any of the shows this morning because they will kill my feel good buzz.

Hmm,

McCain on two major networks. It will be interesting to see how much Network news is controlled by big money and the Neocons by watching how they try to help them cope with Huckabee Hoopla. McCain is the man now that Rudy clearly has too much baggage to float.

So watch for all of the free advertising McCain gets over the next few weeks. It will be informative.

What's catching my eye this morning? Sunshine.

I gave up on the Sunday a.m bobbleheads. I'm no evangelical but I don't think God created the seventh day to have it polluted with the likes of Chris Matthews & co.

Besides, if I want to listen to lies, I'll call my ex, he's at least creative about it.

The lack of Democrats on any of these shows --I guess talking about issues instead of attacking your opponents like a bunch of middle-schoolers just isn't good t.v.

McCain said he would have invaded Iraq even if he had known they had no WMD.

He is not just McCain, he's insane. And if I hear him say "my friend" one more time I'm gonna smash my tv.

Look at all those shows host by and ran by people of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilaterals, Bilderbergs, etc, etc - Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC...

and look who appears on their shows as "guests" - more members of the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilaterals, Skull-n-Bones, Bilderbergs, etc, etc. (except for Paul and Kucinich [whom I don't see appearing today])

Quite a cozy little arrangement. Fools most of the people most of the time.

I am actually somewhat excited for this week's lineup. My biggest reason for watching is to see Mitten's whine about how badly he is being attacked. Poor guy, guess he should of thought about that before unleashing the dirt he chose to in Iowa and early on in New Hampshire.

McCain is pushing the "biometric ID for illegals" again on MTP.

Paul made the obvious point last night that if only illegals required the ID, then if you don't have an ID, you must be a citizen. Ergo, EVERYONE would have to be issued such an ID.

2008 may be the first election where internet news outweighs television. At least we can hope so. With the internet at this time
there are no bosses (yet) that keep cream from rising to the top. So on the Democratic side at least where there is a chance to work it
build a constituency with work and talent there will be a draw that doesn't exist on the other side of both of those divides.

We can name twenty stars, some of whom are beginning to carry the media field over O"liely, Hanjob, Rush Slimeball and the rest.

William 'The Bloody' Kristol is a guest on the Fox show(as usual), not seen Dan Rather yet. Despite that and the whole panel stacked with Fox people, I'm amazed that they are keeping it basically civil in the conversation and really no bashing of the Dem. candidates. They're still not mentioning Ron Paul when they talk about the Repuglicans, focusing on the others. But they picked McCain as Repuglican and left no time for their choice .

Flipped over to 'Face the Nation' for some fresher air, and I liked the 'Final Word' - He spoke about the fact that 'Iowa showed that a presidential race can't be bought now', and that 'while the winners talk about how important Iowa is, the losers pass off on Iowa by saying it's not important'.

And I'm still surprised that, despite all the hype of the 'Christmas resolution,' that H.R. 888 isn't making news: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c110:H.RES.888:

George S. called Romney on his ad saying McCain supports amnesty when he insisted his ad does not last night. Romney's response after GS showed him the ad:

"I hadn't seen that one."

Now, GS didn't show the entire ad, but don't they always end: "I'm xxx, and I approved this message."?

No mention of John Edwards anywhere on CNN or MSNBC. He was not ABC with George Stephanopolous and did Outstanding. The MSM is so afraid of him its not funny. They are totally excluding him and Pushing Obama and McCain. Remember Obams wants to be the agent of change, although he has no real solid plan to do it. He's your feel good candidate. He doesn't make you think too much about the reality of how he plans to change the real mess we are in. He plans to build a broad based coolition of Republicans to tackle the big problems facing our country. He wants to appease the bigh corporations and try to negotiate with them after they have ruined our country.Unfortunately, Barach does not understand that at this point its too late to negotiate with the big Corporations. That time is long over. Edwards want to take on the job of getting in there and taking them on. The Media is pushing Barachand Hillary down our throats. Both candidates have taken huge contributions from big corporations. They also know both of them won't stand a chance in a general election against John McCain. Wake up folks in New Hampshire.

because of the media blackout of Edwards, I have stopped watching CNN, FOX, MSNBC(except for Olbermann) CBS, NBC, and ABC. I have let them all know it and send reminders weekly to them as well as stating I have also boycotted their sponsors. I purchase as much as I can from local and small American companies. This will continue even after the elections. What they have been doing to Edwards and other grassroots candidates is un-American and this is my protest. It feels good and I am glad to help the businesses that need it. If we ALL did this things would change. I wonder what else the corporate media is holding back, say, the cure for cancer, hydrogen technology that can replace fossil fuels, vital news about global warming? This election cycle really has driven home to me how very controlled our information is, and it is a threat to our country and the entire world.

There you go it's official. Ol' Bomb, bomb, bomb McCain is the boy to pull their smoking chestnuts out of the fire of public reaction to Neocon lies and ignorance. I sampled the Repuglican debate last night since I couldn't stand more than ten minutes at a time. At one point McCain was laughing openly at Ron Paul. Derisive laughter. I don't see any evidence that JC's policies (the same as bush's) have been funny at all. Nobody laughing there.
