On Monday's Worst Person in the World on Countdown, Keith Olbermann awards the bronze to Roger Clemens for his somewhat suspicious choice to sue his trainer, Brian McNamee, for defamation of character over accusations of steroid use. The silver goes to Dr. Phil, for having the lack of life skills necessary to know to stay far, far away from the trainwreck that is Britney Spears. And finally, the gold goes to perennial winner Bill O'Reilly for his boneheaded chastisement of Democratic candidate John Edwards for saying that there are too many homeless vets.

I thought Olbermann would get it if he ran that clip of Sean Hannity running away from Ron Paul supporters in New Hampshire.
Hope springs eternal ;-)
I also think Clemens was juicing and that if he was going to sue anybody, it would have been Jose Canseco for spilling all in that book, "Juiced!"
Instead he's going after one of his ex-employees...and that phone conversation where it seemed Clemens was trying to get McNamee to lie for him was downright creepy for someone determined to clear his name in MLB.
The reason he sued his trainer is so when he heads up to the Hill to testify, he can honestly say "the matter is under litigation and my attorney has advised me not to comment."
I hate Bill as much as the next guy, but Keith needs to move on..
It seemed yesterdays 15 minutes of airtime on bill o was little more that promotion for his the factor.
Maybe if you ignore bill he will go away.
Maybe there is something to those chemtrail conspiracy's. Some kind of drug that makes Americans goofy with a side of mild psychosis.
Billo remark about homeless vets seems like the sort of thing a cartoon villain would say.
The Most Shocking Aspect of Roger Clemens ‘60 Minutes’ Interview: Mike Wallace Confesses to Steroid Use!
Does Hillary ever get choked up she's never nominated for this either?
L.A. Confidential @ 5:
Actually it could just be Media Induced Psychosis is the great plague the "ByeBill" has been talking about.
The whole Dr Phil thing sounds like a skit on Sat. Night Live. What a fu*king opportunist. No one pays any attention to the old bastard anymore so he decided to leap into the middle of the darkest spotlight on earth, the Britney Spears nightmare life.
I have detested him since the very beginning of the war. One day he had the ladies from code pink on and he chastised them for helping Saddam by speaking out against the war. I think that was during the time some of soldiers were being held captive, maybe when Jessica Lynch was still missing. He yelled at one of the code pink ladies and basically accused her of aiding and abetting the enemy by saying this war was a sham.
I fired off an email to him expressing my polite opinion of him and informing him he would never be on my tv again. He hasn't been. I'm sure he didn't give a shit if I watched his show or not, but it made me feel better.
Keith should simply give Billo the title of "Always the worst person in the World" and just put a picture of him there - no need to explain Why!
Why does Bill-O hate our troops?
"Lack of life skills"? More like he's a media whore.
The O'Reilly vet comment is still outrageous.
L.A. Confidential @ 5:
ChemTrails... ?
Billo loves the troops. He just visited the troops in Afghanistan, thanked them for their service and handed out signed copies of his latest book. BTW, has Olbermann ever gone to Afghanistan or Iraq to visit the troops?
So, someone gives you an injection in the butt and you don't ask beforehand what the hell is in the syringe and what it's going to do to you? Come on, that's just sort of dumb.
The Political Junkie @ 1:
Think about this way. If Shaunee ran away from a group of Libertarians or even Libraryains that is just him running for good reason. they were pissed with FAUX news.
I mean the guy is like vulture vomit but they were just tagging his boss so to speak. Sure would have liked him to fall though on the way back to the Hotel. so we could see if his butt will take garden implements.
Orangutan. @ 14:
I know I've been checking that out. Strange Stuff.
Roger Clemens, Dr. Feel, and Bill O are about the worst representations of American males possible. Add Bobby Knight in there and you have the worst.
Keith should enshrine BillO in the Worst Person Hall of Fame once and for all.
BillO hogs the daily spotlight and keeps others from getting their turn as worst person.
Say what you will but I'd give Roger Clemens $100.00 to take off his pants, baby!
bilhelm-X @ 21:
I'll give him $200.00 to keep his pants on and go away.
How bout McCain. Check his ad out.

PO Patricia is right on - Keith is sounding like a one-note singer in regards to Billo. Give him the Gold and move on.
L.A. Confidential @ 23:
No surprise since the Neocons are backing McCain.

As far as Clemens goes the whole steroid issue in baseball is about %90 media driven story. Most of the "fans" I know wish they would stop this investigation crap and hypocritical soapbox moral standing and move on with strong drug testing. Second I could go into a long rap about how destructive these self centered "POP" psychologist have done to real peoples lives. Third, the only reason I can see to watch Billo is just to see if he says any total crazy shit today.
Roger Clemens belongs on Fox with his creepy lies and bullying bullshit. And RayC@27 you're totally wrong. This can of worms was opened up by the media with their pathetic 24/7 attacks on Barry Bonds. Chickens coming home to roost.
And BillO will wear his gold medal with pride. This add to wonderful gold collections from last year.
I hate Bill as much as the next guy, but Keith needs to move on..
It seemed yesterdays 15 minutes of airtime on bill o was little more that promotion for his the factor.

Keith would probably move on if O'Reilly didn't keep giving him material to work with. Same thing for Sean Hannity.
How do you know O'Reilly's not doing these antics, just so he can get mentioned by Olbermann, because no one's watching "The Factor" anymore? and he needs viewers?
If it translates into more viewers for O'Reilly, Olbermann will waste no time stopping the "Worst Person in the World" awards...although O'Reilly has a lock on the damned thing.
No one outside the bush administration has squated and shit upon the troops and veterans again and again more then billo.
The reason he sued his trainer is so when he heads up to the Hill to testify, he can honestly say “the matter is under litigation and my attorney has advised me not to comment.”
Which will make him look like O.J. when upon his acquittal, vowed to spend his financial resources looking for Nicole's killer.
I'm remembering how McGwire looked in front of Congress two years ago, when he all but admitted he juiced, while sniveling like a lil' byotch. Clemens will come off the same way.
I can't stand Barry Bonds, but the way ESPN were so eager to sling him under the bus as the poster boy for juicing made me gag, until the Mitchell net snagged the biggest fish of all - ROGER CLEMENS.
Maybe now, guys like Jim Rice will get a legit shot at the HOF, instead of being shoved off the ballots because of juiced up guys hitting 600+ home runs in ten years.
As an aside, I don't think Clemens should be chastised for bringing a defamation claim when everyone always cites the fact that alleged steriod users never bring defamation claims against their accusers as evidence that the accuser must be telling the truth. Notwithstanding the fact that it is almost impossible for public figures to prevail on claim for defamation, Clemens has finally done what the majority of people expect and he is getting hammered for it.
By the way... I absolutely think he juiced. I am just commenting on the (here comes a buzz word) "flip-flop" the public is doing on the issue.
6th Ave. and 46th, Manhattan, NY. Fox News. Make them close the curtains on their lies. The sidewalk on the south side of 46th is right next to Hannity's studio. They can see you and you can see them. (Hannity's even nodded his head at me.) And more importantly the cameras can see you (this is the same studio used for the morning show, I think -- I don't know about O'Reilly). We can't arrest them for impersonating a news station and journalists but we can let them know how we feel. They even went to court for the right to lie.
If you go, bear in mind that the sidewalks are public but the plaza is private property. Check the plaza property markers in the cement (even if the area appears to be sidewalk) and stay in the public area.
Most Americans dont give a shit about our troops. We pay no attention to the tens of thousands of dead and wounded. We never see the flag draped coffins. The amputees coming home from the war are faceless statistics. Everybody knows the name of the New England Patriots quarterback. How many Americans can name even one soldier killed in action during the Iraq War?
Billo doesn't care how bad the vets, the poor and the middle class have it. He is a Chicago School economics cultist and has an emotional investment in Hayekism
abob @ 35:
Wasn't it the Bushie slime machine that told folks that we won't see the coffins coming back from Overseas and put the troops in Walter Reed with a contractor. That don't seem to me that the people don't give a shit about our troops. It seems that the old
rePUG talking points got to you Mr. AbobAbobAbob
The Political Junkie @ 1:
With the "Benny Hills" theme music running in the background. Logic, facts, appeals to humanity won't work with the neocons, but man-shaming humiliation towards a castrated chicken-hawk running from overweight RP supporters -- well, that just might about do it. Yup.
;-)
Bill O'Really has no class. He does, however, have a lot of money. Therefore, Bill O' is the perfect example of how true class and money have nothing to do with each other. Finally, Bill O'Reilly serves to clarify something! Thanks Bill!!
pissed off patricia @ 10:
Good for you! There's alot of others who've knocked him outta their living rooms and off their TVs... me included. For the same reason you left...
