After all of the fuss the media and the rightwingnutosphere made over Sen Clinton's campaign coaching a questioner in Iowa, I wonder how much attention this will get? I don't know about you but if you ask me this seems all-too reminiscent of Bush's fake photo-ops, fake WMD evidence, fake Iraq news stories, phony pressers, and fake town hall meetings so he could "catapult the propaganda." Does America really want to go down that road again?

About the story? So what? A politician was unethical. In Louisiana, he wouldn't even be noticed with this. With America as polarized as it is, I wouldn't surprised if both parties pulled this shit unnoticed.

Nah, not when this particular asshole actually bothers to study history, something that might do people in this thread some good. Politicians in this country have been fakers of support since before the Founders. Nothing unusual about this, except that the technology is better and the people more willingly stupid.

His claims notwithstanding, the man who declared he will save Michigan's auto economy is not just "a guy from Detroit."

Well if my mentally insufficient faamily members are any indication, 49% of the 56% that votes never got off that road. In fact, there isn't even a road. These yahoos are stumbling through a sugarbeet field in Michigan with their eyes closed because they're convinced that Jeebus himself is going to guide them to the polling stations.
It's imperative that everyone who is capable of thinking go to the polls this November and demand public financing of elections and ethics reform.
Romney is a mere distraction.
The power guys are going to make sure McCain gets the nomination and then lose to Hillary.

I'm really torn about tonight. I kind of want Romney to win so the republican civil war can really burn (Kos' idea), but on the other hand Romney is such a phoney piece of shit that it would piss me off to see him get even one win. I couldn't stand tonight to see him up there smiling about winning that state. As much as I'm against the republicans he has been really dirty in a Hillary kind of way. He is so negative and calculating. And damn it where are we as a country when we consider allowing someone in a cult to be President? I couldn't stand in any way for a Mormon president.
Romney is as fake as you can possibly get! And if he really gave a damn about Michigan he would talk about what a disaster Clinton's NAFTA has been for that state and our country. Oh no, Romney wouldn't do that because he's for corporations over people like all politicians are these days.
It's interesting but I fail to see how it questions the credibility of anyone. Did any reporter ask how her situation came to Romney's attention? If someone lied about the connection then it's definitely noteworthy, but even then it wouldn't change the facts of the situation.

The media will ignore it for now because their Horserace Mentality is dependent upon a Romney win in Michigan to throw the whole contest into disarray.
