Ann Coulter endorses Hillary Clinton

Which is another way of saying she really, really hates John McCain, suddenly the Über Liberal in the race to be President. All of which amused Alan Colmes immensely. I'm not sure what Senator Clinton would make of the proceedings or Coulter's endorsement.

This can only mean good things for Obama.

wtf?

God please forgive, but I think Ann Coulter is sexually attractive.

It's a trick! She hates Hillary and figures if she endorses her, everyone will go, "gee, if Coulter likes Hillary, Hillary must be a really evil bitch! So, I'm not voting for her!"

Who cares? Go crawl back under your rock.

Wow! HELL HAS FROZEN OVER!!

This is about the only thing out of her pie hole that would garner any attention these days. No one cares about her "John Edwards is a f****t" schtick anymore.

Rocky @ 4 -- I think you're on to something.

That settles it! I'm voting for Obama!

She wasn't endorsing Hillary; she was bashing McCain among conservatives by saying even Hillary would be better than him.

This is terrible! Coulter's evil genius shows through. By endorsing Clinton over McCain, she gains influence in McCain's campaign while creating a crisis for those of us who want to vote for Clinton but can't possible vote THE SAME WAY as Anne Coulter!

I mean...if you vote like the devil, you are like the devil. If the friend of my friend is my enemy...wait, now I'm confused. Anyway, I think Coulter is cruel. She's making sure that many of us independent voters, and others who might consider McCain if he somehow regained his sanity--she's making the idea of voting for Clinton (and thus, voting WITH Coulter) so repulsive that we might sway to McCain...her real candidate.

Her endorsement is an election-sized albatross around Clinton's neck now. If there's a God, he just turned his back on Hillary--there's no way God would side with Coulter. (sigh...we're screwed....McCain's gonna win...)

It's a lie. He would never endorse Hilliary. It's a lie. Don't believe him.

No. I will not forgive you.

you like blow up sex dolls that have been lying in pig manure?

Negatory on the analysis, good buddy scarce!
It is Obama that neocons will fight the hardest against (and have been) for completely ideological reasons. Their survival depends on having the Clintons in the White House as well.

abob@3 Man, you must be in cell block.

she is so stupid to think anyone would believe another
gop trick to fool the democrats. she does not endorse herself.

Coulter's "endorsement" may be along the lines of the right thinking that Hillary as nominee would be easier for a Republican to beat in the general.

Left&Left @ 16:

abob@3 Man, you must be in cell block.

abob are you a man or a woman?

ann coulter are you a man or a woman?

not that it matters. I was just confused.

McCain is the best candidate for the GOP (which, honestly, is quite depressing for them). There's really no one else. All the "saviours" of the GOP (Giuliani, Thompson) have bitten the dust and have flamed out terribly. McCain is it, Coulter. You don't have a choice, bitch.

abob @ 3:

God please forgive, but I think Ann Coulter is sexually attractive.

Reminds me of a scene from Clerk's

Randal: All right, but you're missing out. Chicks with dicks.
Dante: I'll read the book.

This is ann's bid for a cabinet position in the Billary administration.

abob @ 3:

It's okay - I got my first woody from a headless Barbi doll at age six.

I agree that it's a ploy to help the Clinton campaign because that's the candidate that Coulter wants to see. Just think about the timing; right before Super Tuesday. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Damn! I'd rather have the Devil himself endorse me before Ann Coulter. The Devil is less evil than Annie...

What is wrong with these people?

err, I mean tools.

abob @ 3:

God please forgive, but I think Ann Coulter is sexually attractive.

Pervert!

What difference does make what that ugly, shapeless, evil, unwomanlike mutt thinks. Good or bad Coulter's opinion in the progressive world should be treated like a fart in the wind.

That picture ... it's like a muppet pulling a corpse out of the ground.

SCORE - Hillary get the evil transvestite crossover vote!

On a meta-level, could C&Ls just leave coulter off the site for say 1,000 years?

A thousand years without coulter would do me good.

She's such a worthless voice in all of this. She doesn't even register on the Richter scale of significance.

Actually, this show with ann is to hurt Clinton.

Don't get punked by fixed noise.

I think an almost equally shocking quote was when (s)he said "I looked it up."

Supporting her (his?) arguement with honest to goodness facts?! Now THAT would be a first!

Wash that hand Alan!

Saw this coming miles away, weeks ago.

I love how one of the repug's big problems with McCain is that he "worked with Feingold".

MoveOn.org members endorse Barack Obama. About time.

Coulter is if nothing else, a survivor...this is her desperate attempt to continue to get airtime....she, Hannity, Limpballs and all the rest of the repigs realize that its over...the republican party is giving them minority status again....it is a true joy to watch these assholes squirm.

Of course Coulter wants Hillary to win. It means Ann gets to be a well-paid shrill book-shilling talking head for 4 more years.

This is transparently clear that Ann would, given the choice between McCain, who she hates and Hillary, who she also hates, support Hillary so when Hillary is in office she can continue to publish her trashy books railing against the President she hates and still sell to her Republican base. Her books would not sell nearly as well if they targeted McCain as they would targeting Hillary.

That was hilarious!...Coulter knows how to make a buck, and making a buck on the REVOLUTION is where it's at.

Colter should ride out on the colt she rode on.

I'm with #31 & #45 - That anybody covers what this twit says anymore is beyond me. It's pretty sad to see this getting coverage ...

Want proof that con-servatives are insane???

The actually believe that thing is attractive....

Oh...on his endorsement....don't think that Hillary will be touting that lame display of sarcasm any time soon...

i don't know what to make of this.. I'm glad she's going for a democrat.. but not for the right reasons.. beside that one person seems smart than the other person.

It’s been about 6 weeks since s/he has published a book....what is s/he waiting for?

Possible titles for her next book:

1. God, I really do hate libruls
2. Libruls eat aborted fetuses
3. 1001 ways to cook a librul
4. Libruls and the Terrorists: Is there really a difference?
5. How to talk to librul, part 2
6. Godless talking libruls and their brains are treasonous
7. Bush is a librul
8. 100 new jokes about Ted Kennedy
9. I can’t reproduce because of Libruls
10. My secret crushes on Hillary and Bill.

Yeah, talk about suspicion of ulterior motives. She writes 2 pathetically awful and reality-challenged books bashing the Clintons and liberals in general (before shifting to the latter 24/7/365), and we're supposed to believe she hates Hillary LESS than McCain? No, she's happy because she'll be able to (possibly) give the repugs 4-8 more years of supposedly funny liberals-are-subhuman-trash "satirical" publication. In short, it guarantees her a paycheck.

But that's if I believed she really truly wanted to endorse HRC. What this really is is an attempt to shift the focus so that Hillary gets picked instead of Obama, because they know no matter who they put up, Obama will annihilate because he can orate. HRC can't do that, on top of already being Satan incarnate to the right (which HRC of course never deserved). AC gets to continue her own self-loathing in her mind by putting a woman up for election that will, again in her mind, supposedly get trounced.

Holy hell. I really DID wake up in a bad episode of "Sliders".

please, never mention it again.

;)

She said one thing I agree with: In terms of policy, McCain and Clinton aren't that far apart. Frankly, that doesn't leave much room between McCain and Obama either.

Proves what all the "nutty" people have been saying on all the blogs for weeks...a vote for Hillary is brought to you by the Corporate America, and even a dipshit like Manly Coulter KNOWS she is the same as Bush.

I think you have that backwards. Obama talks nice but will be decimated by the republican machine. He can't take the heat.

I think what coulter is saying is she would vote the lesser of two evils. You know like we all had to do in 2004 when that wet noodle Kerry ran.

Who cares what Ann Coulter thinks about any Democrat? Whats funny is that the Republicans are going to have to vote for John McCain or not vote. In one way I wish Romney would get the nomination because I think he will go down in flames and take more people with him. McCain will be harder to beat and take less with him when he does.
However, McCain will put the screws to Rush Limbaugh,Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, etc. just as good or better than any Democrat ever could.

I'm surprised that Hannity didn't start ranting, flip flopper, flip flopper!

Pay closer attention to what is going on around you. I am not hear to educate you. Get off the internet and try talking to people who actually vote for a change. You might be surprised. Remember most of what you see on these sites, does not translate into the general population.

Here's what I think she's doing: She striking out against two politicians she doesn't like. She hopes to hurt McCain by calling him liberal, hoping that Romney (who despite being mormon is more a of a NeoCon) will be the republican candidate. And she hopes that her endorsment of Hillary and calling her conservative will hurt her among progressives making the Obama the candidate (probably assuming a black candidate will be easier to beat).

Lock her up, something is wrong with Ann Coulter

Whether intentional or not, the reichwing's McLame bashing could fool many moderate/independent/low-info voters into believing the "Moderate John" meme to our detriment. The 30% tards will still vote rethug in November.

I like the intro describing McCain as a "poll-rising candidate." Sounds like Hannity has spent some time in airport stalls. creeps me out though. . .

Thanks for falling flat on your face in front of everyone when you were challenged over your obtuse talking-points.

Personally I find it infinitely hilarious that people think Hillary is more conservative than Obama...

Reality check here folks... Hillary is more liberal than most folks think and Obama is more conservative than his supporters are willing to admit. There's a reason why Hillary has a lifetime "progressive rating" of 17/99 and Barack is rated 24/99.

Sad thing is that the "war and peace" and "civil rights" categories are what bring down both of their ratings the most... (and family planning for barack)

This is brilliant because Rupert Murdoch's horse in the race is Hillary. She'll allow him to keep gobbling up American airspace and will help him expand his empire. McCain is too much of a loose cannon for Rupert. Besides, Bushco has always hated McCain because they couldn't control him. I don't like what McCain says about the war, but hey, he's definitely the best Republican in the field. We know how he really feels about the fundies because of those comments made in in 2000. Mitt the schitt is too much of a cypher.

Also, the Clintons were good for the Right--especially media outlets like talk radio and Regnery press. She'll sell a lot more books if Hillary is the president.

Doesn't really surprise me, considering Murdoch has held fund-raising events for Hillary.
Please wake up and realize the left-right paradigm is a sham. You can't trust anyone on either side.

Dude that woMAN is FUGLY!

Coulter's endorsment of Hillary is EXACTLY why I will never EVER for her.

Proving that pussy-power prevails over radical-right rapturism.

Hillary will probably brag about this "endorsement". Her and her husband are always vying for Republican support, policies, values, etc., etc..

It will be along the lines of "see, I can work across the aisle."

donviti @ 80:

I'd do her though

Coulter spoke the truth on one thing ... Hillary did jump up and give a standing ovation to Bush and "The Surge is Working"

Meanwhile Obama wants to put more pressure on those dangerous Palestinians in order to protect the helpless Israelis.

Can we get Edwards back? Please?

Calculated, deliberate attempt to create some controversy and sell more books/lecture gigs. Nothing more.

Oh and by the way, Don't forget Ann Coulter's role in the The Paula Jones case... Her stated goal was to bring down the President.

Sounds to me like she wants a second chance. That and if Hillary is president all the right talk show folks (like Ann) can just dredge up their old material... It's a gold mine for a self serving individual like Coulter.

I get a kick out of how she blatantly refers to the torture at Gitmo.

Obama is a leader. He is authentic, extrodinarly smart and understands the details of specific things. Obama acts like a leader and that is why he has my vote.

You got it right! 'Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder'......of course some of us are blind..lol

This just goes to show. The Republicans NEED the Clintons. They need the Clinton wars of the 1990's all over again. The Clinton hatred feeds them. They live off that hate. It's their bread and butter. When their ideology fails, it's Clinton. When their governance fails, it's Clinton. When there is moral hypocrisy within the ranks of the "family values" Republicans, the Clintons provide cover for that too. Having another Clinton will provide endless opportunity to stop ANY Progressive agenda. Having another Clinton provides all the ammo they need to justify being obstructionist to ANY reform because of Clinton. Healthcare? It'll be more of the same. The war? more of the same. Trade policy? more the of the same. It'll be harder to find an excuse to obstructionism and 1990 style partisanship when you have a leader that is a new face, supported by new voters, espousing fresh ideas to problems that EVERYONE has while not having all the baggage of the Clintons. The Democrats could conceivably control all three branches of government. It's the exact same position as 1993 and we all know what happened after that; the Democrats lost the congress, their backbone, and their message thanks to Clinton scandals, triangulation, and selfish indulgences. That's why we need change and why we need someone that can transcend the feuding and divisiveness. We need a new sense of purpose, leadership, healing and hope.

The argument over who is more liberal or not is pretty amusing to watch, considering Obama and Clinton have both been in Washington the past few years and seem to be playing the Business-As-Usual game. They are phonies. We are still a nation ruled by the media and the defense contractors that own them and I haven't seen Obama or Clinton calling this out. So I'm voting Nader, again.

No Black Party Dress?

Coulter backs Hillary !!!???? Man, is that a kiss of death or what... Good luck getting that taint off your campaign madam Senator....D

Anne Coulter and Co. were popping Dom Perignon the day John Edwards "suspended" his campaign. Because he would have been the ONLY Democrat who could have beaten a Republican in November ("red states"). She is obviously cheerleading for Hillary because there is ZERO chance Hillary can win a national election in the United States. Especially now that we heard more details about her "health care plan". "Just have Blackwater thugs go door to door and if the American people cannot PROVE they have PAID for their MANDATORY health care premium then we'll put a BOOT to their THROATS and MAKE 'EM PAY!!! OR ELSE!!!"

The Democratic voters are morons and the Democrats (after 40 years of buying their bullshit, myself included!) are just the masters of taxing and bureaucratic lying and spending us to DEATH!!

Not to mention the way they've backed every single piece of Constitution shredding legislation that has come up since 9/11. If Bush wanted to go get the Constitution out of the glass box it's in at The National Archives and TORCH it, the Democrats would "go along to get along". Remember, according to Bush, "It's just a Goddamned piece of paper" anyhow. You think Obama and Clinton don't agree? Just look at their records.

A pox on all their houses!!!

On Women: "[W]omen are voting so stupidly ... it's a personal fantasy of mine," to take "away their right to vote."

On Muslims: "The conventions of civilized behavior, personal hygiene and grooming" don't apply to Muslims.

And the Edwards comment (I think using the old term for a stick of wood to burn is getting caught in the comment filters.)

NO Way!!!
What will she think of next? This is a terrible woman with a wicked mind. Please help her soul.

God please forgive, but I think Ann Coulter is sexually attractive.

As to whether god will forgive you or not, check with your confessor.

"'Wait!’ she gasped, sensing the fuse on my yogurt cannon was burning quick...."

Priceless!

"Yogurt Cannon"

ROFLMFAO!

She's not stupid enough that she would fail to realize that her endorsement of Clinton would have a negative impact on progressive/liberal support for Hillary - she may just believe (and she wouldn't be alone in that regard) that Obama is the weakest of the two and she would prefer to have the GOP go up against him. Good strategy based on some of the responses thus far.

Sorry, but don't expect me to waste my computer time looking at any video with Coulter in it (or colmes, for that matter). I just keep hoping she'll herniate a cervical disk when she throws her hair back.

I had a blow up doll that looked like coulter. I popped it.

Realitysucks @ 100:

We need a new sense of purpose, leadership, healing and hope.

actually, i think exactly the opposite. i tend to agree more with digdug @ 72. she thinks democrats are stupid and will act on a knee-jerk response; the equivalent on their side would be if someone like kucinich (my first choice in an ideal world) endorsed one of them. coulter knows that by playing on our "hopes" about what obama represents, she might prevent us from electing the person who will hurt hard-core republicans the most where it really counts in the end: real policy and legislation. it's the ol' confuse and scatter strategy. it's a smart move. too bad democrats are smarter. this dem's still going strong for hillary, baby. go hill! yee-uh!

I just had the misfortune of having to listen to a portion of rush limpballs radio show as I walked through one of the shops where I work. His guest host--another fucking looney tune like limpballs--was crying the blues about how the conservatives, the ones that put all their trust in their make believe friend floating around the heavens, have been abandoned by the party and how dire the situation will be in this country when a McCain or a Hillary is sitting in the WH.
It will be so fucking satisfying to listen to all these MF's heads exploding in the near future.

down is the new up

Ann needs a job and like other lying loyal GOP they will act like their turning sides like the snakes they are. The Public knows the tricks of the GOP now look for Rush to endose Obama next.

She doesn't have that long blond hair and wear skimpy, skin-tight clothing for nothing.

I'd do her though

*urp* I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

"HER?" sure bout that?

absolutely...no doubt she'd be fun. you know those repressed ones are all freaky

I loved Alan Colmes last question about McCain endorsers, 'So they are all whoes looking for a job?'
Ann swallowed her three pieces of nicorette.

This has got to be one of the signs of the Apocalpyse.

Funny as hell, though. I never thought I'd agree with Coulter.

DJ

Of course the conservative Repubicans want Clinton to win the nomination. It's the only thing that will unite a fractured, bickering GOP. Think about it...

We must vote for Obama.

O8ama!

I swear that bitch looks like a skeleton wearing a blond wig. In fact, Annie and Allan make a nice couple.

Oh yeah, and that Adam's Apple bobbing up and down while she talks is soooo hot!

/throws up

Coulter is laughing all the way to the bank. PT Barnum would have been proud.

**Coulter, Highly regarded as the strong moral compass of the GOP and the GOP’s intellectual strength and savvy.

Whining on H & C that she will campaign for Hillary if McCain is the GOP candidate.

I just want to make clear right now to the GOP.!

**Put your dog on a tethered leash that restrains it from crapping in the Democratic yard. Get a shovel and pick up the mess dropped in the Dem's yard already,

Don’t make me call the pound on your mad dog crapping and threatening in my yard

A posting about Ann Coulter belongs on tmz.com. She has more in common with Britany Spears than other conservative commentators.

As if any percentage of the people who actually know who Ann Coulter is take her seriously. They know her as a sycophantic c**t. She'll say anything to sell books, whether it's to the fringe that agrees with her, or the rest of us who like to wallow in our hatred and laughter for her. She's pointless, irrelevant, and quite possible a transgendered.

No. I will not forgive you.

LOL!!!! It will pass.....

This clip is reveals the reason the Repug party is in such disarray and has been since the mid 90s.
Hannity,Coulter,Bildo,Limbaugh, etc...etc....never have represented the interest of the rank and file of the Repug Party.
Since 2006 Repug families earning less than $200,000 per year are finally seeing through the B.S. that the upper echelon have been spewing out via the flatulating orifices' of the sirens of persnickety punditry.
The kooks and the nuts are there to fool the Repug sheep into believing that the 1% must be strengthened in order to trickle down some monetary detritus in their direction.
Well they fixed the leak and nothing is filtering down to those sheep and the cost of living is skyrocketing.
Phase 1 is almost complete the 1% have looted our Treasury.
Phase 2 will be the going out of business wholesale giveaway of public lands, mineral rights, park properties, forest lands, public museum contents, highways, social security, post office,etc.......etc.........it has already begun.

Again, this wasn't an endorsement of Hillary; it was an attack on McCain.

The wingnut talkers, led by Rush, Hannity, and Coulter, have been desperately trying to derail McCain's candidacy because he's - get this - too liberal for them. That's why Coulter is beating him with the Hillary bat. There was a good article about this development in today's NYT, and I saw a few other newspaper articles about it online (incl. Houston Chronicle).

When you read through the far-right conservative blogs, and listen to the far-right conservative talking heads, you notice an interesting phenomenon: they talk about McCain with the same irrational hatred that many liberal bloggers (commentors, mostly) talk about Hillary. "If [Hilllary/McCain] is the nominee, I swear I'm staying home!"

Well, that certainly ties up the LGBT vote for Hillary, doesn't it?

I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this today, but where's (m)ann's skanky black cocktail dress?

And Colmes looks like he's holding up (m)ann's arm to keep her from falling face first onto the desk.

Couldn't hurt.
