Mc Cain is a flippity flopper.

If the contest between Bush and Chavez continues, soon 'The North' will be the 'Other America'.

'Adventures in Democracy'?

Where are they going to find a democracy to 'adventure' in?

Iraq?

Right this moment, the Israeli division of Blackwater is planning an amphibious invasion of the US, planning to simultaneously hit Palm Beach and Martha's Vineyard, to take over the nation while it's troops are 'away', and pull off a military coup.

Tel Aviv is losing patience with the fits and starts of the Lieberman plan for a 'bloodless coup', and has decided on decisive action.

Blackwater/Israel is depending upon the covert support of the US DHS in it's coup, since Israeli citizen Chertoff has been offered a leading role in the new, coup, government of his new 'Homeland', the US.

So if any of you citizens want to defend your nation, you'd better get the unlisted phone number of Eric Prince's California Blackwater division, and see if you can raise enough money to get them to defend the US against Blackwater/Israel. It would help if you're friends of Gates/Buffet.

Remember the Savings and Loan scandal? The 'Keating Five'? McCain as a polluted politician, with his hand out for bribes, actually stealing from the American public?

Were McCain to win the presidency, he could never say, as Nixon did,

'I AM NOT A CROOK'

At least, not with a straight face.

But then, McCain never does anything 'straight'. He's a bogus faker.

Bit of topic, but, did anyone catch the Newshour last night.
Discussing the debates Shields said that none of the republicans were nearly as good as the dems. Lehrer says "Wow, you going to let him get away with that David?" Brooks reply "(chuckle) I wish I could disagree".

For a good read, go to: annotatedrant.com, and read *uck the South. You'll be glad you did.

I watched the NOW program on the foreclosures and middle class problems. Typical of right wingers the people going through foreclosure were Bush supporters and voted for him twice. One of them is planning to vote for Huck. If there is one thing that stands out to me, it is their ignorance. Even if they can't figure out why their stuation is what it is, they still don't deserve losing their homes. They should open their eyes though and quit voting against their own best interests.

Everyone's for 'Change', and a lot of folks think Obama will bring them 'Change'.

And he will. But, so far, it's undefined.

Remember the early days of 'Reconstruction'?

What if we end up with a White House with crap shooters in the Oval Office, 24/7? Al Sharpton as Attorney General, and black Baptist ministers as Assistant AG's? Jesse Jackson as Secretary of Defense, threatening Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, etc, with nuclear attacks as 'compensation' for their African depredations of a few centuries ago? Condoleezzaa as National Security Advisor (redux), which would almost guarantee another successful terrorist attack against us?

What if Obama appointed McCain as a token ofay, and to show 'bipartianship', as Secretary of the Treasury, and crooked McCain personally looted the whole US bank account? What if he made Hillary Secretary of Education, and she made every school district in the nation buy 10,000 copies of 'It Takes a Village'?

The point is, if you are hoping for 'Change', better be careful, you might get what you're wishing for.

Saw the show. The mechanic and his wife were good examples of the idiocy of the Republican base. The 26 percenters consist of the bottom 25% of the population, as measured by IQ, and 1% of the evil geniuses who manipulate them.

And why do I have this feeling that they are not very different from the people who rush to vote for the latest new, new thing without knowing much beyond the bite-sized ads and the celebrity buzz surrounding their idol? I'm reconciled that Obama might win the nomination going by the tidal wave of support he has, but I am sick in my stomach that after 8 years of a disastrous presidency the Republicans might once again get the White House. I'll believe the contrary when I see it.

I forgot, the reason I started to write was over the Harry & Louise ad from Obama, which is really despicable. It is one thing to disagree with HRC's health care plan, but to take something from the Republican playbook?! I remember the original airing of the Harry and Louise ads, and how it set back a decent universal health care system by nearly 2 decades, and we are still suffering for it. Shame on Obama for turning out to be just another political hack; and an inexperienced one to boot. If HRC were to air something similar she would be pilloried on this website and others like it. But Saint Obama gets a pass as always. The only silver lining is that he shows an ability to play dirty politics which may serve him in good stead when he has to take on McCain.

PBS' Now and Bill Moyers' Journal are both fantastic, and those other links cover some very important stories.

What are the "Harry and Louise" ads?
