FOX's Heart On For Bush

Bob Cesca has an amazing eye and can catch the most obscure things. While watching a video on C&L of FOX's documentary on Bush, Bob noticed this little subliminal sign:

Bob also highlights the exact point when this comes up and the ironic timing of it in the interview.

Fair and balanced like they say. Fox news has now given evidence of it. They support Gay issues as much as any Democrat. They just don't want to TALK about it.

The Pravda News Agency is, fortunately, WAY too stupid to notice that what they have done is to convince the Independents that Fox is the news arm of the Republican Party. I was speaking with an Indie Friend the other day who made the comment that CNN was the worst news out there. I said, "hey, what about Fox?" He laughed and said, "dude, Fox News is NOT a news channel."

OK, so they're lovers?

There's nothing wrong with that.

That's what I was thinking. I believe it's also something people do unconsciously when they really like another person, not necessarily in a sexual way-- though sexual attraction can certainly be part of it.

Well, at least this particular sycophant seems sincere in his shameless idolizing of Bush. He's not a whore, like Hannity-- he's felating George because he really loves him.

Albatross's picture

What disturbs me is this cult of personality, particularly for someone whose personality is so bereft of depth. The whole "authoritarian" mindset is really juvenile and frightening. Imagine the rage such people feel when the object of their affection leaves office...

The next four years are going to be one propaganda hell, no matter who wins (unless by some miracle it's Romney, and even then...)

You should hear what they are talking about in the puff piece, whether or not the War on Terror can be "won", and Bush first brings up "national unity" after 9/11, and then says "I'm pretty sure there was national unity on removing Saddam Hussein"

Ugh, no. The only unity that ever resulted from Iraq was because of the carefully orchestrated campaign of lies in relation to 9/11.

Remember the 935 documented lies in the media before Iraq? That you and Colin Powell were the biggest offenders? Gee, the interviewer never brings it up once.

odanny's picture

And his continual blathering about the "freedom agenda" and bringing "peace" to the world in "defeating Islamic radicalism" is Orwellian.

Peace thru subjugation and war.

Matt's picture

Funny but lame.

HulksHeroes's picture

I almost puked on my computer when I saw the clip showing the moron being interviewed and compared to other great Americans. They are getting away with murder on the pravda network.

They make the idiot blush when they compare him to someone from history that actually accomplished something positive. And the sheep and geriatrics just eat it up like it's "fact".

The only fact is, he needs to have an interview where they compare him to Idi Amin, Adolf Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin. THEN there mights actually be a few things they can accurately compare. What a joke of a leader this country has been subjected to for the past seven years.

This proves America WAS strong. We endured this idiot and his crimes and mishaps. What a shame of a man he is.

odanny's picture

Twice he said, in reference to terrorists, those "who kill to bring about their ideology."

Twice!! And twice the interviewer brings up "freedom agenda" in reply. Talk about disinformation. This should be shown in psychology classes right alongside "Triumph of the Will."

Bush says his sucessor will "understand the emergence of this free society" in Iraq.

Yea, thanks George, you left things in great shape.

Frank Dufek's picture

How could anyone have even watched this let alone looked for subliminal messages inside of it? It was a show about Bush... on FOX... history is going to be so rude to FOX, assuming NWO doesn't take shape soon (as I suspect it will).

Straight Shooter's picture

I'm not reading anything into the "hidden heart," but it's very clear from their body language that they are sympatico. People who feel close to one another tend to cross their legs towards the other person and, literally, open their arms, as these two are doing. Also, the casual posture serves to disguise the desperation of the propaganda which they're trying to catapult.

I think more people are going to be looking at the footsies implication than the hidden heart. I don't know who the other person in the photos is, but bush did the same thing with Brit Hume in his interview.

ConcernedCanuck's picture

Good thing Faux luvs them some Bush......

BAGHDAD — The U.S. military said Monday that it accidentally killed nine Iraqi civilians during an operation targeting al-Qaida in Iraq south of Baghdad.

The civilians were killed Saturday near Iskandariyah, 30 miles south of the Iraqi capital, U.S. Navy Lt. Patrick Evans told The Associated Press. Three more civilians were wounded and taken to U.S. military hospitals nearby, he said.

Sanctions since 1990, bombing indiscrimately, daily slayings, and they admit to killing only 9 innocent Iraqis? Ya, OK.

Are they lovers?! Anyway, I found it cute; the heart formation. How I wanted to have someone to share his time with me and talk about everything. That will fun, isn’t? Oh, I'm so dramatic... but the truth is I just envied them for having that heart formation. (hehehe)

Look at them sitting thier like two perched queens!

No offense of "queens".

Susan's picture

Everything in the picture could have been accidental or just a matter of perspective. But having their feet touch like that? That's no accident. The Faux interviewer had to have a major man-crush on W to avoid reflexively jerking his foot away.

The "reporter" in this clip is simply doing what they teach interrogators to do in order to get more information. Model your subject. This makes the mark more cofortable. Be a mirror reflection of who you are interviewing. It is a basic technique not worthy of a big subliminal heart.

RC's picture

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. I seldom if ever read the right wing blogs and never watch any television news, most of my info is from print and the left blogosphere. But I do notice at many sites {like, say, this one} a very high level of gay speculation. I also am familiar with the general Republican memes of hypocrisy and Log Cabinism. So it does make sense to poke some gadar in there in Elephantland occasionally and take some soundings just for kicks. But really, so much of this activity gets so tiring so fast.
Fox News is slop for pigs. And this segment is part of that. I care more about the popularity of this type of slop amongst the American electorate than I do about hearts, gay outing or stupid visual analysis. Don't the rest of you?
And for the record, I was documentary cameraman and film editor for many years.
Often, crappy production is just crappy production.

McCain Confirms It: A Vote for Him Is a Vote for a Third Bush Term

A BUZZFLASH NEWS ALERT
DNC Press

Washington, DC - During appearances on Fox News Sunday and CBS's Face the Nation, John McCain made it clear: a vote for him is a vote for a third Bush term. Echoing his earlier statement that we could be in Iraq for 100 years, he said again that he would continue Bush's never ending civil war in Iraq. "We have to take care of the world's security," McCain said.

"The choice between the Democrats and Republicans couldn't be more clear. A vote for John McCain is a vote for a third Bush term with a never ending war in Iraq and an economy that favors those at the top. A vote for a Democrat is a vote to bring our troops home from Iraq, for an economy that works for all Americans, and a return to America's priorities," said Democratic National Committee Press Secretary Stacie Paxton.

McCain: A Third Bush Term
"They want to have the government run the health care system in America. I want the private sector to do it. On the issue of national security policy, there are very sharp differences... They want to withdraw from Iraq and if we do that al Qaeda wins." [Face the Nation, 2/3/2008]

"I have a strong conservative record and I'm proud of that record and I also believe on the national security side it's going to be a clear difference between me and Senator Clinton or Senator Obama. A clear difference on whether we're going to increase spending or decrease spending, increase taxes or decrease taxes, whether we're going to withdraw from Iraq or we're going to see this thing through to the success." [Fox News Sunday, 2/3/2008]

McCain's 100 Year War in Iraq: "We have to take care of the world's security"
"...This strategy is succeeding. Ad I believe that if we had set a date for withdrawal or if we do set a date for withdrawal, al Qaeda will then win and we'll see chaos and genocide in the region. That's another significant difference that Senator Clinton and I have...and I look forward to discussing it. It's not a matter of how long Americans stay. It's a matter of American casualties. And those casualties are coming down and we can eliminate them. Look, we're in Kuwait right next door to Iraq. We're in turkey. We're in Bosnia. We're all over the world. One of the obligations, unfortunately, of being a great superpower is that we have to take care of the world's security." [Fox News Sunday, 2/3/2008]

McCain: More of the Same Bush Supreme Court
"I would appoint justices such as the ones I've strongly supported and gotten through the Senate with the help of many others or help along with others. Only those who strictly interpret the constitution of the United States and do not legislate from the bench... If you have justices that have a clear, conservative, a clear, strict interpretation of the constitution of the United States, then you don't have to worry about what their decisions will be." [Fox News Sunday, 2/3/2008]
