Admittedly, one of my lecturers back at "college", (well, norwegian version of higher education), did say that "Economy" is the study of efficient use of scarce resources, and that fairness and justice had nothing with the curriculum to do, but jeez, talk about taking it far out.

I can't believe no one in the media mentioned his "size does matter" "joke" in his concession speech. Man, did we ever dodge a bullet with this tool.

God bless Mike Finnegan's consistent and prolific reading!

Concerning vouchers for private schools, especially Catholic, why don't they petition the Vatican and see if they would sell some of the artifacts that are in the basement to give to these schools. I know a fool argument. The Vatican doesn't really care about the parishes just that they keep sending money to the Vatican so the Pope and the Bishops that live there can live the high style.

OT - Just wanted to point out what I'm not seeing on the news... the massive number of voters that have and are changing registration from Republican or Independent to Democratic. Just look at the number of voters in Louisiana - 359,000 + Democrats compared to 156,000 + Republicans. This is big news. The msm can talk all they want about how appealing "more wars, less jobs" McCain is to Republicans and Independents. The problem McCain is facing is the small number of Republicans and Independents left to vote in November.

Maybe if you'd stop supporting the dictatorial Saud regime and their brainwashing madrasahs and stop building military bases in the Arabs' backyards and reign in the CIA who gave the world Bin Laden, the so-called Islamo-Fascists wouldn't be so intent on killing us.

Next Up for the Democrats: Civil War By FRANK RICH
Hillary Clinton's show on the Hallmark Channel was a preview of how nastily the Clintons will fight, whatever the collateral damage to the Democratic Party.

bill'$ big mouth is how they did it! he does lot$ of $peechifying for large quantitie$ of dough. He probably gets way more than 9u11iani, who gets $50k a pop. I'm sure bill doubles that. considering his audience is probably friends of bush, he gets an audience who can afford him. last year, the estimates of the clinton fortune were around $50M. Silver tongue and golden throat.

Before the Nevada primary, Dennis was visited by representatives of Nancy Pelosi and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee — AIPAC. They told Dennis that if he would drop his campaigns to impeach Cheney and Bush, they would guarantee his re-election to the House of Representatives.

Kucinich threw them out of his office.

I find Chait is sometimes insightful, sometimes obtuse or disingenuous. That review ain't a point in the positive column.

Thank god for gmail accounts, now I'm user Mephisto on Godtube! I should be banned in about 14 seconds, somebody quoted Mathew 3:11 and I asked "Why does God want to burn me? That's not very nice!". Like I said, 14 seconds.. I love sticking it to these people, it's my life's mission to harass the faithful! So far I haven't seen Jesus in any of the videos although I assume I'm looking for a Caucasian guy with a beard and halo.. I guess I have to watch harder, cry and wave my hands in the air! LOL!
