Bill Kristol's suggests Hillary uses the "Politics of Fear'
I guess William the Bloody knows all too well about this tried and true campaign strategy from the GOP. Here he is with Chris Wallace giving us his best advice to Hillary.
KRISTOL: [Obama’s] riding a wave of euphoria. She [Clinton] needs to puncture it. The way you puncture euphoria is reality, or to be more blunt, fear. I recommend to Senator Clinton the politics of fear.
As Think Progress notes, Kristol very much would like to bomb the heck out of Iran.

I was talking to a coworker the other day, and she mentioned how she has friends - hardcore GOP'ers, who bragged about how they switch party affiliation so that they can vote for what they perceive as the weakest Democratic candidate, then switch back to GOP for the general election. Does this provide any clue as to how the Republicans plan to approach this election against Obama? You bet. Will the general population be able to resist it? Any way to start the inoculation process? At least people are really listening to Obama at this time. If he can lay out what to expect from the Repubs maybe he can defuse it. But it's going to be ugly and every effort will be made to scare us. I guess the fact that the people trying to do that will have been the people who's job it has been to make us safe may make it difficult to pull off.

The only reason that "Corporate America" would have to fear Hillary Clinton is that she may bankrupt them by taking all of the money that their PACs have to offer. I'm sure that the Medical Supplies and Health Insurance interest groups are just giving her money because they feel as if they have too much - it could not have anything to do with the fact that they feel that she'll actually do something for them in return.
As for her Cruella DeVille-inspired screechfest, she would have done better to cry again. Maybe she should try doing so when her husband cheats on her, or better yet, when Americans younger than Chelsea come home in body bags from the War that SHE voted for... What happened, Hillary, in those 24 hours between "I'm so honored to be here with Barack Obama" and "Shame on you, Barack Obama!"? This was a Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde moment and has UNHINGED written all over it. I do not feel comfortable with Hillary being Commander in Chief after that tirade. Obama's calm demeanor in response to her attack and to everything that everyone has thrown at him so far is very admirable and very comforting. His ability to get under Hillary's skin by being able to generate $$$$, crowds, respect, and votes without being disagreeable himself has shown her true personality--one to fear if she should ever win the presidency.
The "Speak softly, but carry a big stick" foreign policy is the one that works. America's nuclear arsenal is a very big stick and Obama speaks very softly.

Did you see Billy Bloodboil go ballistic when Juan Williams dared disagree with him on the subject of the NYT story on McCain's possible dalliance with a lobbyist for the telecommunications industry? I thought he would pass out in apoplexy! Now, I think I know why the Times ran the story at all (with full knowledge they might catch hell for it, the piece was so feeble and unsubstantiated). They actually thought Billy Bloody would RESIGN in protest, which would save them the further embarrassment of admitting they made a mistake asking him to write op-ed for them in the first place. the title needs to be changed. "...suggests Clinton USES..." reads: Clinton uses the politics of fear. In fact, it's not that Kristol is making this claim, rather suggesting the technique be tried. I noticed this when I was reading a different site, which had a more succinct and accurate title. "Kristol suggests Clinton USE..." would be appropriate. the current title just looks--slightly--misleading.

Most politicians spend their entire terms in elective office sitting on their fat asses in legislatures waiting for wealthy special interests to pay tribute. They cast their votes in favor of the lobbyists who bribe them with the most money. Nader's consistent extensive record of dedication and achievement is a matter of public record and absolutely unassailable. Which of the current presidential candidates has established and built a more impressive curriculum vitæ of work for Progressive causes? Ralph Nader's bonafides eclipses all of the others combined.
Please change the title. As others have posted, it's wrong to have misleading headlines like that. This isn't Drudge report, or a Fox site. If we want honesty from those who oppose us we need to be honest and accurate as well.
