I'm off to Take Back America

I'm leaving to fly into DC Monday morning and join in on all the Take Back America fun. I'm a little nervous flying because it usually tweaks my injury, but I really wanted to see all my liberal and progressive blogger friends. I'll try to do some blogs from TPA if I can. Also, we'll be celebrating Norman Lear, and he's been an incredible man for our movement.

His inspiring work was the catalyst for PFAW.

No, he's alive and well and consulting for the Clinton campaign!

Wish I could join you there John. Best luck on the injury acting up and give 'em hell in DC!

I just don't want it taken back, I want the perps punished.

The Stock Markets this morning opened with a large fall,
then it started to make a pretty good rally and almost got back.
Then Bush spoke.

Need I say more, it is now down 190 something.

Bush is so much an imbecile that every time he speaks, America suffers.

Surely you can't be serious!? Anyway, I just wanted to say, good luck. We're all counting on you.

As today is St. Patrick's Day, the traditional celebration of all things Irish, Your Correspondent decided to use the occasion to comment on how the Irish Government is spending €34 billion over ten years to improve its transportation infrastructure.

And not just on highways--but also on rail and bus transportation, with equal weighting being given to Dublin (light rail, commuter rail, bus, Metro) and the provinces (intercity, commuter and regional rail and bus services).

So what could we learn from the Auld Sod in this respect?

You're thinking of Carroll O'Connor. Norman Lear produced All in the Family

Oh, that's Norman Lear's picture. For a minute there I thought JA really needed to take a break.

I thought it was Captain Stubing from "The Love Boat."
