Media Bloodhound watched this presser and Dana Perino's assertion that Bush mourn every military loss and asked "Really?"
And how was our mourner-in-chief spending his day as our four thousandth soldier took one last breath in the sands of Iraq? Goofing around the White House and posing for pictures with a six-foot-tall Easter Bunny. No, really.

How many lies did Perino manage to include in that press briefing? Al Qaeda didn't exist in Iraq until after we invaded. But they remain a small percentage of the fighters in Iraq. The main fighting is between US forces and various factions, primarily nationalists versus regionalists fighting for political power in the vacuum we created. It's the US presence that is the primary cause for the violence. There was no sectarian fighting before we invaded.

3. ENABLERS will be held guilty to the same DEGREE to their actions and complicities.
WE AS A SOCIETY MUST NOT ALLOW THIS "CYCLE" COME TO A FRUITION. OTHERWISE HISTORY WILL REPEAT ITSELF TO THE DETRIMENT OF OUR SOCIETY, OUR WORLD, OUR ECONOMY, OUR WELL-BEING.

That they will be held accountable for crimes committed to the same standards as any common criminals. This message will mean that DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY WILL NOT TOLERATE LAWBREAKERS.
3. ENABLERS will be held guilty to the same DEGREE to their actions and complicities.
WE AS A SOCIETY MUST NOT ALLOW THIS "CYCLE" COME TO FRUITION. OTHERWISE HISTORY WILL REPEAT ITSELF TO THE DETRIMENT OF OUR SOCIETY, OUR WORLD, OUR ECONOMY, AND OUR WELL-BEING.
As the new President comes to power following a "DEMOCRATIC" and "LEGAL" election, WE THE PEOPLE must reclaim as a sovereign nation, our GOVERNMENT and INSTALL the QUALITY leaderships that WE have LOST in the PAST several years ......WHEN....WE THE PEOPLE...privatized our OWN duty to OVERSEE our GOVERNMENT. WE must participate in the processes.........for WE are the ones that will PAY the price of FAILURES.

I choose to respect the LAW. Accept the citation. Pay the fines later. And Take the path back to familiar society. AMERICA the YELLOW light is on. And the RED light is coming. RECESSION is becoming (RED) depression. OUR ECONOMY is the latest CASUALTY in this path of disaster that our LEADERS have lead us to.
WHICH IS IT? WHERE DO WE GO? WHAT DO WE DO? DO WE let the DRUNKEN PRESIDENT and his friends drive US to another disaster? Do we let him go to IRAN after destroying IRAQ and killing the oil dealers? They say they mourn after they send kids (mostly) ages 18-24 to die in wars including Nixon's "secret plan" in Vietnam and Bush's "stay the course" strategy in Iraq. The more the war goes on, especially if McCain is the next POTUS, the more they'll keep the FNC-like campaign/crusade going to make profits to drain the economy with this political/economic vacuum. For me, the worst part of the whole stomach-churning episode was the completely absurd assertion that parents, upon meeting Bush after their sons and daughters have sac.. er "given the ultimate sacrifice", is that they want him to continue the war so that their son or daughter didn't die for nothing. Either way this is BS. If they truly say that, then their anger is misplaced, because it's clear to nearly everyone in the world that the war was not necessary, and their selfishness is going to compound the amount of grieving families. If they're not saying that (which seems to me more likely), then, again, Bush and company are using this lie to somehow validate the assertion that america wants this war to continue. I think it's far more likely that families of dead soldiers would want the war to end ASAP to spare the country what they're going through.
