Agitprop: Confused old man won’t torture you if you can prove citizenship

************************************************

Of course, the Bush administration came up with a very convenient, tidy little loophole to help them deal with that particular obstacle -- they simply declare you an "enemy combatant" which at least in their minds renders your American citizenship and your Constitutional rights null and void, and then they consider themselves quite at liberty to do whatever they damn well feel like to you. Just ask Jose Padilla...

I'm starting to feel comfortable being lazy and entertained by the daily news.

"Generation X glum on retirement"

Retirement. Sit and rot away, die. Thats what retirement has traditionally been.

Maybe you should say to your retired folks. "Hey get up off your ass and pay your own way! Thats what you told me works!"

War Tax Resistance: How a Portland Couple Have Refused to Pay Taxes for Over 30 Years to Protest Military Funding
Today is April 15th. Tax Day–a day when tens of millions of Americans scramble to file their income taxes on time. It’s also a day when people across the country are planning to protest the use of tax dollars to fund war. A recent study shows that more than 40 percent of every income tax dollar in 2007 went towards military spending. We speak with Pat and John Schwiebert, a Portland couple who have refused to pay their taxes for the past 30 years to protest military spending.

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

Holy hijacked thread.

So! Lets see if I got this straight...

McCain thinks that IF a terrorist had information that could stop an imminent mass casualty attack against Americans, its ok to torture that terrorist. HOWEVER if that terrorist happens to also be an American citizen, then its NOT ok to torture him no matter how many hundreds of thousands of lives are at risk.

No wonder he's so often confused with that kind of thinking going on in his mind.

McCain's pander is pretty damn despicable, and avoids discussing what's already happened to American citizens and others.

Confused old man won’t torture you if you can prove citizenship

So that means he is up in arms over the illegal torture of Padilla right?
