Congratulations Digby
An honor well deserved. Yes, we really like her, we really do. She's been an incredible influence and blogging role model for me personally. Women's Voices. Women Vote selected her as their favorite female blogger.

Most excellent! Congrats to Digby! I'll go over to her site and congratulate her there, too.
congrats Digby!
She deserves a column in a big paper.
Problem with a column in a big paper is how pathetic and predictable most other columnists look by comparison.
Who is she?
Huzzah, huzzah, huzah!
While a woman gets deserved praise, here at the top of the page is the torso of a scantily clad young lady with the evocation that thinness is the only way to be. We don't see her face because she isn't a person, she is an object.
The bills must be paid and pictures of John McCain may raise sales of high blood pressure medicine (a least to the faithful herein), but it would be hard to track.

Where? I don't see it.

Too late.

Scantily clad. Isn't that whats always been expected of the American Female? The High Ideal?
Sad to see it go back to that.
Digby rules. She should be moderating debates on national telly.
DIGBY!!! Woo HoO!!
Good For Digby- women bloggers have been dropping like flies....so good...she is a sharp articulate woman...and she and Rachel Maddow should host their own show...wouldn't that be something?
Congrats to Digby! :)
Some of us women are still blogging, eh, E4E?

She's a really good blogger to whom Amato has linked hundreds of times.
I didn't know that Digby was a woman. I guess I never checked. My bad. Congrats anyway.
I do not know you Digby, but enjoy your writings and insightful views. Congratulations for a well-deserved recognition.
i love it when she's on sam seder's show also...
great job!
I also didn't know Digby was a woman until a few weeks ago. Other places it's pretty obvious (before reading the columnists/bloggers name). That's not to say I think she writes like man, just that the personal "voice" doesn't get between the reader and the message unlike, say, Dowd.
Ex-squeeze me, but who is dropping like flies? I've been blogging for almost four years, thank you very much.
I think one of the great things about this contest was pointing out that there ARE some women bloggers out there really making a difference. Nicole Belle shoulda been on the list too, ahem. And it was a tough choice for me between Digby and Shakespeare's Sister. Both of them are tireless progressive voices and they deserve to be celebrated.
Congratulations Digby!
Go Digby! Well done.
