This Week with George Stepanopoulos notes the passings of the actress Joy Page, best known for her role as Annina in Casablanca, longtime NBA chief official Darell Garretson, comedic ice skater Werner Groebli aka 'Frick,' as well as the names of 12 more service members killed in Iraq. That now brings icasualties.org's U.S. military casualty total in Iraq to 4,052, and according to IBC, 505 civilians were killed this week, "the highest weekly total this year."

Was Annina that flousy looking barfly/prostitute (?) in Casablanca that the camera focused on during their competitive singing of the French National Anthem, over the Nazi's Deutchland Uber Alles?
The "in memoriams" have been going on forever. Sometimes we can get caught up in the melodrama and forget how high the stakes really are. It is hard to believe those responsible can sleep at night.
it is hard to see the name, the age, the hometown.....
ABC is right to put this on the tv every Sunday....
God rest their souls and help their families and friends with these tragic losses..
505 civilians killed in one week . Over 70 a day . About 3 per hour . Does the invasion qualify as a holocaust yet ?
505 Iraqi civilians killed in one week. Winning the hearts and minds much?
Too bad George's show isn't being memorialized yet..
George Stepanopoulos should air a list of all the Democratic senators who lacked the political spine to vote against the war with Iraq. He should put it next to a list of Democratic senators who did have the spine to vote against the war.
Gee, I wonder why he won't.
Sometimes I worry that there won't be enough room in hell for everyone who voted for Bush.
Jenny @ 8:
Prescott Bush (Satan's only begotten son) is making war with the inhaitants of Heck, and Limbo to make room for his grandson's shhep.
And that's not counting the average of 18 per month who kill themselves, right?
