And the violence continues:

A Katyusha rocket hit Friday the BBC office east of Baghdad with no human casualties occurring.
The office employees told KUNA the rocket hit the editors department but did not cause any serious damages.

They better hurry up with that Disney Project

Time for McCain to go on another shopping spree with Lieberman and Graham. They can let us know that everything is "joyful" in Baghdad.

Obviously the rocket was sent by Al Qaeda/Shiite/Sunni/Iranian insurgents from Obama's minister Wright.

Cheney says thing are going " swimmingly. "

Being how I live here in the EU and see the news coverage here much more truthfull then CNN, I think its something out of the ordinary to rocket a BBC news station. anything is possible as we now see in Iraq. There are other EU news stations that cover more of the ugly side of war, then just showing some burned out car bomb. I think that showing the real horror of war, just might wake the war pigs supporters up!

WASHINGTON— Iranian-backed Hezbollah's seizure Friday of large swaths of Muslim Beirut in a blow against the U.S.-backed Lebanese government is the latest in a string of setbacks to U.S. allies in the Middle East and the latest bad news for President Bush from a region that he set out to remake five years ago.

CRAWFORD, Texas, May 9 (Reuters) - The United States is conferring with the U.N. Security Council and others in the Middle East about possible measures against those responsible for the recent violence in Beirut, the White House said on Friday.

The White House has accused the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah of inciting the violence in the Lebanese capital and routing forces loyal to the U.S.-backed government.

the only thing we can do is send in planes...which we saw by the israeli/hizbollah war of last summer...doesnt do much, but cause death to civillians

we cant send in ground troops....we dont have them

unless, this is a lead up to a bombing of iran...and then i want a full investigation as to who really is funneling monies to hizbollah

can everyone say..."covert cia operation"?.....i knew that you could

While I think they will try to start something with Iran over this, I feel we're pretty safe for the time being.
But that S.O.B. is a power hungry "War Time Preznit". So yes, there is reason for concern.
We simply don't have the forces or strength , To make a move on Iran. But again, That S.O.B. will try something, given the chance.
Maybe America will put their foot down now?

Here is Glenn Greenwald's latest on the Pentagon Propaganda Program.

If it weren't temporarily suspended those con men would be out selling their snake oil saying that everything in Iraq is swell.

I for one am pounding on this drum until it is center stage. That was an ILLEGAL Propaganda Program pure and simple.

Just the other day I was part of conference call to constituents by John Dingell, my representative.

There were not many questions, they were softballs. I cued up to ask a question. His staff came on the line and I unloaded.

1) No FISA compromise, no warrantless wiretapping, NO RETROACTIVE IMMUNITY.

2) Where is the outrage in Congress over the Pentagon Propaganda Program.

Suddenly the conference was over, there were no more questions. I did leave a voice mail.

Do I wonder if Dingell didn't want to talk about those?

But, but, but herr dubyah has been telling the world that his middle east democracy spreading experiment is changing the face of the world!

The MSM is ignoring the Pentagon propoganda scandal, first reported by the NYT and now 8000 pages are available online. The idea was to recruit military "analysts" to help sell the Iraq war. One of Petraeus' first acts was to meet with these so-called analysts.

Their are two kinds of reality; the way things ought to be; and the way things are. It doesn't matter who gets elected. The troops are coming home. We are out of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. The only people in this country with the money to fight this war are the richest 1%. You think for 5 minutes they are going to write a blank check to the Pentagon. I'll file that one under a cold day in hell. They already bled the poor dry. They don't have any money. Hell, half of them are about to lose their homes. The only reason this war has gone on as long as it has is to protect the ego of Bush. It won't matter. The historians will still judge him as the biggest douche-bag ever to sit in the White House.
