So many creeps, so little time. The bronze goes to the owners of the Phillips 66 station in Marion, Kansas, who fired their employee who was robbed at gunpoint, because at the time of the robbery there was more than $150 in the till. The problem was that the employee was in the process of transferring $100 to the safe at the time the robber entered the building to rob it. Those guys are really strict, aren't they? I bet they charged their employees for the little plastic creamer tubs for their coffee too.

The silver goes to perennial nominee Bill O'Reilly, whose ego is incapable of understanding that this little feud that he has going with Keith Olbermann is only increasing Olbermann's ratings share. Billo knows better than to point to Olbermann by name, so his has been a campaign of slurs against the parent company of MSNBC, GE. On this program, he tried to tie GE to sales to Iran via a German company that sold software developed by a GE subsidiary. Of course, Bill has neither the integrity or the intellectual honesty to admit that the German company, Draeger, admitted wrongdoing and had nothing at all to do with GE.

And finally, the gold goes to Roger "Jabba the Hut" Ailes, president of FoxNews for the singularly most perplexing entertainment news since Lynn Spears announced she was writing a book on motherhood. Ailes fired production assistant Jennifer Locke for publicly saying "I voted for you in the primary, you're going to win."

Wait, Rog, you guys fired a P.A. for publicly endorsing the Republican presidential nominee while in front of your own Fox cameras? I’m missing something. Does this mean you’re now going to fire everyone there?

And not to get all tin-foil hattish on you, but McCain's response: "You're not supposed to reveal that," struck me as oddly phrased, in light of what Locke said. I would have expected "Thank you for your support" or "Well, we're trying..." but "You're not supposed to reveal that"? Reveal what? Her support or her knowledge that he is going to win?

And to bring this back to the less banal, Will Bunch reveals the REAL worst person in the world.

I agree with Will Bunch. As bad as Jabba and Bill'O are, Myanmar's Than Shwe is THE worst.

The republican party leadership is filled with the most vile scum ever to soil American politics and the republican voters are the most ignorant ill informed people in America.
It's like the perfect storm criminal behavior backed by ignorance.

I expect everyone ELSE at Fox tells him, off camera, how much they love him and support him, yada yada, and also tell him they "aren't supposed to reveal that." She just didn't know the rules. Has anybody ever captured any of those moments off the raw satellite feeds, I wonder...

Cheers

Why don't these kinds of videos work on my computer all of a sudden? I can play the ones that have a play button, but when I click on the link, nothing happens.

Actually it is Merriam, Kansas. Please do not defame the good people of Marion, Kansas. They don't even have a 69th street.

It'd be great to invade Myanmar and kill every one of those evil f-ing generals. Then we could sue the Swiss to access the money they stole and then use it rebuild their country. Unfortunately we have neither the troops nor the money do so. Having killed the guy who tried to kill Dubya's daddy is no consolation.

Mccain is not going to win. People are learning more about him and won't vote for him. Diebold won't save them either this time.

who would manage this summer's GOP convention in St. Paul, Minn.?
The campaign recently tapped Doug Goodyear for the job,
a veteran operative and Arizonan who was chosen for his "management experience and expertise,"

not any more, being a lobbyist for butchering military juntas doesnt go down well with the sheeple voters.
So Doug is not welcome in MN this year, or at least he wont be officially organizing the RNC convention,
shows McSeniles & co's sense of propriety that they chose a Republican with blood money on their hands to do the 08 convention,
strike that, its just another day in RNC land... until it gets out and its resignation time, one of 100s that have either resigned or been indicted.

happy joy joy news

even better news

Olbermann is jealous of O'Reilly. Keith interviewed Hillary Clinton a few weeks ago and nobody watched or cared. Billo just interviewed Hillary and drew an audience of 10 million. Olbermann's interview of Obama last week got almost no ratings. O'Reilly's upcoming Obama interview is expected to attract over 15 million viewers. Olbermann fancies himself a rival of Bill O'Reilly, but compared to O'Reiily, the American public relegates Keith to minor league status. Well, at least Keith can get his revenge by making Billo a permanent member of his Worst Person list.

if what you say is true, then why in the world does lufa boy care if ko mentions his name?

fact is, ko kills lufa boy in the demo that really matters 18-34....i believe in that demo, lufa boy has exactly 2 viewers

the vast majority of lufa boys viewers are over the age of 60

and where are you getting that 10 million viewed the clinton interview? lufa boy avgs just a few million per night

ya, the "fox fires pa for admitting she voted for mccain" story is really weird...

oh, now i know where drago got the numbers from....lufa boy himself

who counted both nites seperately and added the totals together

actual numbers....

first nite...8pm....3.6 mil
11pm....1.2 mil

second nite....
8pm....3.2 mil
11pm...1.2 mil

sorry....but nowhere near the 10 mil that lufa boy is claiming....just around the normal numbers that lufa boy gets...maybe with a tiny bounce from clinton supporters

nbc tried the same with the show heroes, and wanted nielson to add the monday rating with saturday nite repeat...but nielson wasnt buying that either

nice try though

I reiterate: Olberman should have a special "O'Riley" award, plus the usual gold, silver and bronze. And an award made of oh... uranium? Radioactive, you see.

Maybe an "award" of nuclear waste, rather than uranium.

McCain’s response: “You’re not supposed to reveal that”

I think McSame meant: Fox Noise is "fair and balanced" and Fox employees shouldn't admit the obvious on air. Because viewers might get an accurate impression.

you're not supposed to reveal that? why not? oh i remember. you're supposed to pretend to be fair and balanced. nevermind.

I am puzzled that the interpretation of this “You’re not supposed to reveal that” does not drive to the obvious. McCain was simply stating the corporate republican facade for their mouthpiece, Fox. His saying this is a peek behind the curtain. This poor girl did not know that she was working for the republican pravda. She did not get the memo. Look behind the scene and see if one of her handlers has been relegated to Siberia. This is actually a very revealing incident. McCain stepped up to admonish a minion who was not keeping faith with the fraud. He would know. He would be in on the pretence. Happily, he is so doting that he displayed the game. She is just lucky she only got fired. He was likely close to calling her a stupid ****.

What McCain means, is, that you're not supposed to say who you voted for, when it's bad for a current campaign.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/09/us/politics/09huffington.html

What McCain means, is don't blab who you're voting for.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/09/us/politics/09huffington.html

Keith is often a little rough on O'Riley, but it is the same as when a top rated sports team loses a game because of inadequate preparation or poor play in general--the sports pundits are unmerciful. We, afterall, rarely take the gloves off anywhere in the U.S. when we encounter gross stupidity, thinly disguised deceit, or undeserved bias. That Keith picks on Bill is only his manisfestation of one of our general characteristics as Americans. Bill is popular for some reason beyond my understanding--when he picks apart whomever he chooses in mean and crass ways, neither he nor fox news has a right to complain when the same comes back at them.

Why can't anyone say the words "Vote Fraud"? Come on now, say it with me, "Vote Fraud".

We haven't had an honest election in this country for years.

Forgot to add that it's not just republicans who engage in it.

I would have given O'Reilly the gold, he is the worst person on fox by far and I think him and good old Cavuto tie though.

Billo must have the all time record for making the "worst person in the world" list.

Bill'O and FOX Noise, propagandizing anit-American enemies of the state.

The worst person in the world held a lavish wedding while children starved? Or were homeless? Or were thrown in jail without the right to habeas corpus? Or wire-tapped the phones without a search warrant? Well, maybe he was just protecting hisp people from terrorists...

As someone above mentioned... why wouldn't this indicate that the fix is in and that Jolly Roger knows it's in. What is the fix? We might not know until the election but McCain is supremely confident for someone being out polled by two different Democratic candidates. It would also explain McCain's almost lethargic campaign, his failure to prepare... a lot of other things you've all been speculating on here.

Yeah right i almost believe he was protecting his people from terrorists.
Stealing us blind is more like it!

True, Olby's ratings have increased slightly over the past couple of years. But MSNBC as a whole ranks in the 30's for cable channels, not very good!

Keith seems to be obsessed with O'reilly. Even if you like him don't you get tired of the whining. It's like a high school kid trying fo attention.

BTW, Fox News is the #1 rated cable news channel and O'reilly is the #1 rated show.

I think the real reason here is that Ailes expected all his employees to advocate his b/f Giuliani in the primaries. Jabba tolerates no dissent, not even after the fact!

It's like I said in another post, that once the dems gain control ( in a huge way)of both houses and the White House in November, the first thing that Roger"JABBA THE HUT" ailes is going to do is fire Bill O'Lielly mucho prontito!Don't laugh, Bill Has been fired more times than anybody can shake pin-head!

drago@#9- What a stupid opinion. Listen asswipe ,if put in the proper context, Keith beats the living daylights out of the factor, every night. The reason O'Lielly ratings are higher is because Countdown is NOT available in as many markets which on the surface gives blow-hard Billo an edge, but, when viewed in a per capita( do you even know what per capita means) situation, guess what? That means that Keith Olbermann kicks Bill's ass EVERY night! Hear that drago- EVERY NIGHT!!!

bigironal: you're on crack! ;) keep in mind that Fox News emerged while whining about a Democratic President. they'll gladly repeat the process. i'm sure Cavutotoad will flip-flop, making sure to play up down days for the Dow, and play down up days. now, some of the Fox viewers are authoritarian types who will worship the preznit, no matter who he is.. but many are dyed-in-the-wool, "true believer" types. when it's revealed whom Obama's wife gunned down while aboard a crashing airplane (or maybe it'll be a sinking boat this time), these retards will lap it up, and Fox will continue just fine.

Sounds like KO said "Merriam", the summarizer probably misheard. It must be the Snappy's 66 on Fifty-ninth street, just west of the Santa Fe tracks.

More kool-aid over here. Or make that an ice tea motha-fuckers! Drago the dimwit still thirsty.

Ten million? ROFLMAO!

When will you wingnuts learn that .6 0f 1% of the U.S. population's oldest and nastiest sociopath's, sitting home getting their nostalgic dose of 1950's style american bigotry and stupidity is NOT relevant to where this country is going. You people really need to get a life!

And when the fairness doctrine returns and smashes the corporate-republican MSM propaganda monopoly, these clowns will be blown off the airwaves, and reduced to selling T-shirts as carnival barkers to guys like you drago!

Partisan means facts don't matter. Partisan means cheerleader.

Both Bush Jr. and Roosevelt devalued the dollar. That is the objective truth.
Throw in partisanism and watch what happens to the fact of the matter.

Jennifer Locke gets a concise, first-person lesson in what the Republicans are really all about. Think she'll meditate on it and reconsider who and what she is voting for? I din't think so, either.

Ever notice how Ailes looks like he could be turd blossum's daddy? I wonder if the gene(s) that predispose you to becomming a a lying, manipulative sociopathic sack of shit in life also determine that this is how you will end up looking once you have achieved that state. Just an idle musing.

I wouldn't be caught dead watching fox noise, so I'm thankfull for people that do it for me, like the people here in C&L and Keith, et al. Tell me something, who else on TV calls on O'Reilly for all his lies. A few years from now, O'Reilly's audience will buy the farm and I will sing kumbaya when fox shuts down.

Well, FDR spent lots of money on Americans, in addition to WWII, in which our participation was pretty necessary. Bushie spends it all overseas, most of it on an entirely optional war, which unwinds the planet in the process. And when people doing the actual fighting overseas come home, he's hesitant to spend any money on them. Not because he doesn't appreciate them, but because they're now standing on American soil, and the American government spending money that lands on American soil is somehow taboo.

It's not FDR's devaluing of the dollar that bothers me, so much as his trampling of the Constitution and his blatant discrimination towards Japanese Americans.

McCain knows what the game is, everyone is supposed to pretend that the Corporate Media is not in the pocket of the Republican party. His response was not oddly phrased at all, it was just more revealing than right wing politicians and the press usually are about their symbiotic relationship. That's why Jennifer Locke was fired, not because she supports McCain. The firing is also a PR bonus for Fox so they can appear as if they are being "fair and balanced." For Ailes, its a worthwhile payoff for throwing a lowly Republican "reporter" under the bus.

Hey everyone, despite the inaccurate interpretations here and elsewhere McCain did not make his "your not supposed to reveal that" reply after the Fox news employee said "you're going to win" but *before*. Here is the dialog.

Jennifer: John McCain! Fox News!... (blah blah blah)
McCain: Fox News! Good, I'm always glad to talk to... (blah blah blah)
Jennifer: I voted for you in the primary!
McCain: Thank you very much, you're not supposed to reveal that.

All this took place before any mention of winning and it's obvious that McCain was simply telling her that her primary voting was supposed to be private. (for whatever reason even if to mask bias)

watch video here: http://rawstory.com/rawreplay/?p=1026

I would say "Nicole strikes again!" but this story is being misrepresented all over the place so maybe she just regurgitated a story she had seen in an inaccurate form somewhere else. Still, if I was able to dig up this video in a few seconds of searching why couldn't she? C'mon crooksandliars, an allegation of vote rigging requires a little more research and substantiation don't you think? If you're going to incite the riots that I hope another stolen election would bring then at least let's wait until there is justification.

Assassin@#29-I didn't say that fox would fold their tent and go home. I just said that O'Lielly will get canned. Makes perfect sense to me. Check it out for yourself. Bill Blow-hard has been fired from many jobs and the fact that Bill's viewership is shrinking on a daily basis says it all. I bet there are plenty of folks out there that were shocked when fox fired that ugly-ass John Gibson, but they did.

noGWBpolicyleftinplace@#36 Thank you for helping me out on this subject. For any anyone else, if Keith was a slug, msnbc wouldn't have given him 10 million bucks to extend his stay on Countdown. Go Olbermann!

bigironal: true, i shouldn't have muddied the distinction. but Billo is still their ratings leader, and dominates overall cable news/commentary in ratings. does it really matter that he's fallen when he's still trouncing most people in that area? Gibson was a second or third-rate toady, so he's more dispensable (and Fox still kept him on the radio to spout his crap anyway). i think Gibby's t.v. cancellation may be less about his viewpoints and more about albinos being totally non-telegenic.

Olbermann interviewed Obama last week and it was watched only by his minuscule MSNBC audience. When O'Reilly interviews Obama on Fox News next week, the content of that conversation will be analyzed by national print media and every broadcast news network in America. Keith Olbermann just aint got the clout of Bill O'Reilly.

Thanks for pointing out that typo, as I was born in Merriam and live just blocks from there. Keith also got the street wrong - the Phillips 66 is on 67th Street at I-35.

She was fired for divulging "teh plan" about McCain winning.

She knows he'll win because she has already seen the press releases provided by Diebold.

How about a YouTube clip of Roger Ailes flying out the front door of Fox News, NAKED, being chased down the street by an angry mob. Careful crossing the street, Roger! Red light!! Whew, that was close!

Of course McCain is going to win... you don't think the Republicans spent so much time and effort making it illegal to contest elections, removing any form of paper trail and putting Diebold in charge of our votes to just leave the future of their party to chance did you?

“You’re not supposed to reveal that”

means: you're supposed to maintain the fiction that Fox is "fair and balanced", and not a propaganda arm of the Republican party.

drago@#47-Did your mother have any kids that lived? The only thing that O'Lielly is able to beat is his"MEAT"! You are a 100% asshole so go sit down, fire that crack pipe up and chill!
