I know Bill Kristol just loves the word "serious" whenever he talks about foreign policy so I wonder if he'll back up the Speaker on this one?
Pelosi: "I think what the President did in that regard was beneath the dignity of the office of the president and unworthy of our representation at that observance in Israel. And I would hope that any serious person would disassociate himself from the President's remarks who aspires to leadership in our country."

Everyone of you that has been calling on Pelosi to start impeachment proceedings against baby bush are living in a fantasy world. Impeachment requires two steps, only one of which the democrats have any chance of getting through congress.
The democrats could get the articles through the house, but there is no way in hell that they could get 2/3 of the senate to vote guilty. When he is found not guilty, due to purely partisan politics, that will broadcast to the world at large that our government condones what he has done. I think that the world at large considers our government a laughingstock enough as it is, lets at least attempt to preserve a small amount of dignity.
Not to mention that fact that if/when Obama/Clinton get around to deciding to have baby bush and his cronies brought up on charges, a not guilty verdict in the senate would give him a defense.
Instead, we should just keep giving him all the rope he wants. Then after the elections, when we should have complete control of both houses of congress and the presidency, we hang his ass out to dry.

Good thing she's dignified and not a passive-aggressive Milquetoast. It's hard to tell sometime, what with the way some people define "dignified". I thought it meant "worthy of respect", as in someone who stood up and fought for worthy convictions.
