Once again the context by which you judge someone is wrong. For certain there is something deceptive happening with the generals and their ties to the pentagon. However, if you properly read Williams article you will see that he acknowledges that it's entirely possible that this all happened on "his watch" but not the men he writes about. Perhaps he is wrong but you make the same mistake as the people you continue to skewer for their lack of truthfullness. You fail to properly contextualize what he says. The article he has written merits a little more analysis then you give it (none) here on this page. Please be more responsible. We cannot win a battle for a more honest media and leadership if we fight the battle irresponsibly. We owe ourselves better.

Out of personal interest, can anyone point me to the source for the democratic proposal back in 1996-97 ( I think), to provide make armored cockpit doors mandatory, but was voted down by republicans due to the cost to the airliners?
Tried looking up at congress homepages, but got nothing there pre 2001.

It'll be back, don't worry. That's one of Mike's specialties, and you may have noticed that Media Bloodhound featured a Talk to Action post yesterday about the Religious Right and gay marriage.
Nice job, MB. Alas, there's a long list of things the MSM doesn't cover that it should, although that sociologist's take on the domestic propaganda campaign is sadly right on. The numbers on the perception on global warming are troubling if they're accurate, but I'd like to see more data on that, since it seems odd. And the classification games are troubling. I suspect it'll be years before we uncover all the skullduggery of the Bush administration, but man, who ever thought Nixon would look good in comparison?

Article indicates Mr. Smith will be testifying before a Congressional Committee today.
Does anyone know if such testimony will be on CSPAN or is available via any other media outlet?

is the MSM on this??? Only Democracy Now has given a report and I am sick, disgusted
and outraged that this hot topic is not receiving any media coverage whatsoever.
