This Week with George Stephanopoulos marks the passings of Hamilton Jordan, architect of the Carter Presidency; Zelma Henderson, Plantiff, Brown v Board of Education; and Dick Martin, comedian as well as six service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to icasualties.org, the casualty count for Iraq is now 4,393. And per IBC, there were 158 Iraqi civilian casualties this week.

I can't stand Stephanopoulos
Hamilton Jordan was a fine and honorable patriot, taken much too young.
Not even in the same sentence acknowledging Mr. Jordan's passing could I include the name Karl Rove. I am incensed that George Stephanopolous could allow the traitorous K Rove on his show. When I saw KKK's bovine face I immediately turned ABC off and I may never again view This Week. Rove is a criminal, most recently thumbing his nose at a Congressional subpoena. Our country has endured seven years blighted by the antics of Rove. George S. Messed up mightily in his questioning of Clinton and Obama during the last presidential debate. Stupid questions designed for whatever purposes. This, this giving credibility to Rove is beyond acceptable.
The casualty count for Iraq is now 4,393.
The Bush family service count for Iraq is forever 0.
Mission Accomplished.
Staff members of democratic presidents go on to contribute to humanity, doing things like working with kids with cancer. What the hell do former republican whitehouse staffers do? Aside from lobbying and making millions.
Seriously. I'm not saying democrat politicians are without flaws, but in modern times has there been an ex-president like Carter?
Jordan is just one more example of what public servants are suppoesed to be doing. Working for the people.
It is hard to believe that in just two short months we have lost another 393 soldiers.
