MoveOn: Take the Bush-McCain Challenge
By SilentPatriot Monday May 26, 2008 5:30pmAnother gem from MoveOn. Take the quiz here.
Check below the fold for information on MoveOn's upcoming "Challenge" event:
MoveOn.org recently launched The Bush-McCain Challenge to show voters that, on the issues that matter, it's almost impossible to tell the difference between John McCain and George Bush.
It's an awesome project by MoveOn.org and we need your help make it a huge success.
Here is the deal: Tomorrow -- May 28th -- MoveOn members are taking the Bush-McCain challenge to the streets. Over 335 events are planned all across America.
Here is where you come in - can you attend an event? We want reports back on how these events unfold in communities across the country. MoveOn will use your account to help spread the word to the media and to voters.
Most events are taking place at noon. You can find events near you here.

obama confuses buchenwald and auchwitz.....news at 11
Nearest event is 196 miles away . . bummer, I got the red state blues again.
the thing is, politics is a joke to all you people, you people don't speak for me. you think this is all a joke. the thing is man this is real and people are really dying and its so easy to sit on the other side of a screen and believe your affecting reality, but you aren't , if your not in the streets you should be. the revolution will not be televised
That was fun! Take the test yourself!

jbattle,
point well taken. we need to snap out of our national stupor. will it happen?
jbattle @ 3:
Listen, numbnut, do you think this is Russia in 1917? The Army will actually shoot back, and witnessing what happens to Palestinians armed with sticks and stones against M1s and other American technology, I have no desire for an armed revolution. Now, if I could get me some equal technology, that might be different.

Is it a coincidence that Buchenwald sounds so much like Bushworld?
jbattle @ 3:
So we all hit the streets November if they steal the election again.
I like this video ...

Tying McCain to Bush is a very good idea if you ask me. But, people usually don't ask.
Every linked YouTube video is constantly being stopped after a few seconds of play, it is in search/download mode for a few seconds, then it resumes for a few more seconds of play. Now, I do not have bandwidth issues. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, several times.
people should not be underestimated.
The news media should take this quiz

Would love to see some of those scores. lol
Very clever idea.
I think the MoveOn ad is pretty lame. It uses the theme song from an old 1960s sitcom that only old farts like me will remember, and it focuses on really trivial things to drive the message home. It would be more effective to use actual facts, for instance information that is addressed in an article just upstream here: McCain voted with Bush 95% of the time in '07, and in '08 it's been 100%.

Which one was which? I can't tell them apart.
I refuse to help an organization that turns its back on the person who supported it and supports a person who managed not to be present.
