By SilentPatriot Wednesday May 28, 2008 2:20pm
John McCain released his medical records last Friday, and despite his kidney stones, arthritis and chin herpes, Jon Stewart and the rest of the media have found him to be fit as a fiddle.

Twice!!!!
If 71 is the new 30 that makes me a teenager. Yippie
By the way. Is it me of does McOldman seem like he is getting senile? Seriously.
McBush is a shell-of-a-man. He is not fit or capable to be president.
Hating the troops will do that to you.
So that means I'm only 15, right?
Dr. (Bitter Hussein) Matt @ 4:
Unfit for President? He's unfit to be a Senator! It's amazing he's been able to serve in the capacity of Senator as he has lo these long campaigning months. Being able...to...um...vote...and...
He hasn't been acting as a Senator for months, has he?
He's right behind me ready to yell "Get off my medical records!" isn't he?
Whoa, if 71 is the new 30, I shouldn't even be able to legally drink yet. Let's not take this too far.
Thanks Jon for that mental picture you put in my head of McCain's ass.
If Grampa manages to steal the election, which member of his administration will be responsible for changing his colostomy bag?
mccain is done people!!!
done, over, finito, no mas, bu bye, passed up, sayanara, ciao, ta ta, cheers,
'....I guess that makes "dead" the new "50"!
LOLROF - Man that is funny!!
McCainchurian's health is as solid as the US economy, or its foothold in Iraq.
71 is the new 30.
Doubleplusgood.
When you really think about it, McCain has been to the doctor a lot. Would you employ a person for a job that must see a doctor so often? Really McCain seems quite sick and frail and needs medical exams to remain in preventive health. Not good!
Is all you got with respect to McCain his age and Hagee?
Are there no significant policy differences between him and the democratic candidates?

so . . . i'm still a twinkle in my father's eye at this point. i'm further along with my retirement savings than i had originally thought. although this means i'll be working till 120 . . . or the new 65.
Apparently, John McCain's medical records are to be handled just like the Iraqi WMD programs dossier was in 2002 when it was presented to the UN. His records are just as long, just as edited by those in U.S. Government, and are just as secretive.
princess @ 17:
Apparently you've been drinking, princess.....here's a little inside info, princess, herr dubyah isn't running for president and neither is Kerry, princess. Try to keep up on current events, princess.
Caliber "Hussein" @ 7:
Rupert Murdoch predicts landslide for Democrats
Jon Stewart is McCain's bitch. Has been for years.
When I first scanned this sentence, I thought that poor Jon had the medical problems. You might want to change the first "his" to "McCain's" to reduce confusion.
"...something called 'John McCain's Disease'" ... /snort
I read somewhere that McCain had to have surgery in February to remove some cancer but I can't remember where I read it. Has anyone else seen/heard about this?
Ambien ...well I guess we know who WONT be answering the phone at 3:00 AM ...
I guess I'm the new 4.
My wife would agree.
Is 40 the new prenatal?
All of those problems and he's fit as a fiddle?
I guess I'm fit as a cello?
And how fit is the aforementioned fiddle?
Katie Couric says that they enabled the administration out of need to appear patriotic.

"...unremarkable buttocks with tan freckeling.."
my life...is fufilled now that i know this stirring fact. i can now die in peace.
I'm more concerned about his mental health. Has he had that checked out lately?
We were told bush was in super duper physical shape too. So what? He still turned out to be a mental midget.
I guess when the govt has provided you with health insurance all your life, as McCain has been provided, you can afford to get treatment for everything that ails you. Most people's medical records wouldn't be that large for half their life.
sassafra @ 29:
Oh don't die, Sassafra. Just suffer through life with that mental picture of McCain's buttocks etched into you brain the way the rest of us will.
pissed off patricia @ 30:
I was thinking the same thing. Most of the rest of us likely would've died long ago if we needed the same constant life support services that he evidently needs.
I'd hate to see him when he's feeling a little under the weather.
I always said McCain is Really a Man of the ‘Middle Ages’
70 is the new 30?
Damn... I'm not even sperm yet :(
pissed off patricia @ 30:
McCain's mental stability is also a great concern of mine especially after Bush. I mean, everyone that goes on television, stands up to give a speech, or makes any sort of public appearance acts the way the people want them to act because they know they are in front of the public. Behind the scenes though, they are a much different person and this seems to be the case with McCain. In many of the jobs that I applied for in the past, medical and psychological exams were given. In some cases, a psychologist was also present at any round table interviews. Medical records are fine, but the psychological records are equally as important especially for a President of the United States.
Weaseldog @ 28:
F-ck "patriotic".
They did it for the money.
Anyone see the photo or video segment of McCain gingerly descending the stairs (wearing a green sweat shirt) when he hosted the VP potentials at one of his homes? Someone was holding his left elbow....the guy really looked his "age" in that moment.
Just heard on cnn that Senator Obama's doctor released a one page report today saying the Senator was in excellent health. Wolf wanted to know when they would release his complete medical history. Senator Obama has been going to this doctor since the mid 80s. That's just about half his life.
Don @ 38:
I saw it and it was his wife holding his elbow. And yes you are so right that did look like a very old man, older even than he really is.
WTF are chin herpes?
Mel @ 41:
mel, you've obviously never gotten involved in some crazy-ass chin f*#&ing in bangkok. totally worth it.
* No Masturbating
"Brent Hume ... I'm looking at you"
Classic.
Lone Rogue @ 35:
I'm not even the sticky stain my papa's dirty sock
StirFry @ 45:
lol . . . gross.
I'm voting for the candidate who has the most remarkable ass, not the one who is the most remarkable ass.
We can't beat the Islamofascists with unremarkable buttocks.
unemployed @ 47:
Well - that would have to be Hillary Clinton.
It sure caught Obama's attention.
I had no idea McCain was in such shaky health. Its really sad when the daily show does more in depth, straight reporting than regular media outlets.
Hmm, chin herpes ... I wonder how he got that? The media should pursue this aggresively. After all, the war and the economy are old news ...
Mpls_Dem @ 42:
Good God, man. I went and looked it up, and it's real.
Mel @ 52:
chin herpes? or crazy-ass chin f*#&ing? i believe in both.
The Republicans could've done better with nominating a wet paper bag, which is at least consistent, not to mention in better health. McCain is most obviously meant to be a weak candidate, picked specifically to be the loser, like Kerry in 2004, and Dole back in 96...
I have to admit a secret man crush on Rich. I think he's cute as a button, and he's not as insane as most of his colleagues at Fox. He's a welcome reprieve from David Brooks on The News Hour occasionally. And I love how Mark Shields treats him like a petulant upstart.
That said, he's way too smart to be making stupid comments like that. I'm disappointed in you, Rich.
He's as fit as a fiddle -- if the fiddle is a 250-year-old Stradivarius.
marko @ 11:
I think the 28 Percenters will even vote for a corpse, as long as it has an 'R' tattooed to it's freckled buttocks. But to hell with them anyway.
unemployed @ 47:
Then i am a shoe-in, for my buttocks are sublime! And I haven't spent dollar-one on this campaign.
OH GOD tan freckling on his buttocks!
that image is now forever tied to McFreckledAss in my mind. groosss!! lol
how come NPR didn't give any of the shady details of his health record release? didn't say anything about 3 hours, no copies, 1,200 pages, or only covers 8 years. highly diluted talk radio.
LionelS @ 16:
His age and health are both significant - they indicate that his choice for VP should be scrutinized very, very carefully...
harley @ 22:
Do you even watch the show?
In Larry King's recent interview with Jon Stewart, Larry brought up the subject of the primaries and asked him if America was ready for a woman or a black president.
Jon looked at him quizzically and said "This is such a non-question. Did anyone ask us in 2000 if Americans were ready for a moron?"
God bless him! :)
And your troops are so happy about the lies and hate as well as McCain going to get in they are killing themselves in record numbers :

Maybe you lot should start doing something about the rot in your country ?
Dr. (Bitter Hussein) Matt @ 4:
Since when did that ever stop the repig crime machine from supporting someone? Fit or capable, after the last 8 years I doubt many of us would be able to come up with a reasonable meaning of those words. Anything better than the current criminials? I don't think he would even pass that very low bar.
Wolf Blitzer noted that McCain had released "hundreds of pages" of medical records, and "Where's the rest of Obama's?" Well, Obama hasn't had cancer treatment, and treatment for numerous other serious ailments as McCain has, so there AREN'T hundreds of pages of records. Obama has supposedly been treated for "flu and minor injuries." That doesn't amount to "hundreds of pages."
I don't have hundreds of pages of records either. My sister, who has been chronically ill for years, does have "hundreds of pages." It was funny to hear Wolf say this as if EVERYONE has hundreds of pages of medical records. Not unless you're really sick, Wolf.
Forget about voting, nothing makes sense to me, How many hours to they spend talking about the useless campaigns that do not actually talk about changeing anything. Here is my biggest pet peeve, why is journalism taking a back seat to paid agenda's. SO MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THEN PEOPLE'S LIVES Money dictates what a christian believes. Jesus would be apauld.
harley @ 22:
Typical rethug, harley. you have it bassackwards.
trez @ 62:
I LOVE JON STEWART and if I wasnt too old, I would happily bear his children. lol
Weaseldog @ 27:
I imagine its broken beyond repair.
