Mike's Blog Roundup
Shakesville: John McCain knows nothing about the economy and has a crooked lobbyist as his advisor - and Americans trust that.
The Aristocrats: Maureen Dowd Theater
Needlenose: An historic figure analogous to President Arbusto is King Philip II of Spain - you know, the guy who launched the massive Armada (30,000 men on 130 warships) against England in a sort of quasi holy war - and got his ass kicked.
Truthdig: A.Q. Khan takes back his nuclear confession.
Excons: In a recent interview with the Washington Post, our CIA Director, Michael Hayden, seems to have taken advantage of every opportunity to tow the party line and spew all of the relevant Bush Administration talking points on foreign policy.
Zaius Nation: The Zaius/Gregarious campaign must keep up with the latest trends!

someone found clinton's lost delegates
Maureen Dowd's MO-attract attention. Everything follows from that.
After that the candidate who entertains her and keeps her from
getting board gets her attention.
McCain is the candidate that is made in China.
He is a knockoff of a real politician
He is poorly constructed, flimsy, flips and flops whichever way the wind blows
He is toxic, and WILL cause harm if played with
I came upon this by thinking of the line above
"John McCain knows nothing about the economy and has a crooked lobbyist as his advisor - and Americans trust that."
It is like the Reichwing is litterally shopping for a candidate, and don't give a crap about the true quality of the candidate, as long as the candidate can be had now, can give them a sense of satisfaction that they have fulfilled a percived need (Security), and is obtainable cheaply. Exactly like the crap that everyone is being forced more and more to have to buy, CRAPPY PRODUCTS FROM CHINA.
I'm not sure I agree with the generalizations about Chinese products, 99LB, but I do agree that McSame is toxic and unworthy of support. Yet somehow he has a lot of support. Damn, that's frustrating.
Haysoos L. K-reist, we took credit for exposing AQ Khan, didn't we? An ongoing CIA op, no?
Mike, one toes the party line, one does not tow it.

That's the way Excon wrote it. I think they were going for a pun. I'm aware of the the standard use of the phrase.
MoDo is scaring the children.
Sigh. So much craziness this morning...
Mike, will you please go look up the English idiom "toe the line" and spare your readers the continuing horror of your misusing the language? You want to publish on the web -- take the trouble to get the language right. Please?
Nobody 'tows the line" except incompetent tugboat skippers.
"The Clinton lost delegates"! LOL! I thought they were right wing bloggers.
Thanks for the linkie love, Mike. Always appreciated and excellent roundup, as usual.

See my explanation on comment #7. That said, I don't believe an occasional misspelled word or other mistake rises to the level of a "continuing horror." But thanks for proofreading our stuff.
neither here nor there but the folks at shakesville are a bunch of paranoid, hate-filled psychos.
