That post at Pacific Views is exactly what my husband and I have been talking about. Bush did the same thing and the people of NOLA and others along the Gulf Coast suffered as a result.

I'm surprised about Senator Clinton's camp announcement. Not unhappy about it, but surprised since she has gone this far. I thought for sure she would wait until today's votes were cast and counted.

Anyone that feels divided by that statement needs to grow a pair.

I think most of us don't accept something at face value just because we read it at someones blog. Recall the story on the web that Senator Obama was a Muslim, un-American etc etc. Those were lies and the bloggers who posted them were either real fu*king stupid or they were lying.

So Michelle is correct, the opinions of some bloggers on the net are just not to be trusted because there are people on the net who will lie.

Of the people being held in either Secret or known prisons, when and if they ever get to trial, an acquittal doesn't mean they get to go free. According to the Newly appointed judge (the old one didn't fit the bush Legacy I guess), even if on of the prisoners is acquitted they don't go free, "They are still a threat to the U.S."

The rest of the world, the Free part, is really upset over this fact. No wonder the reputation of the U.S. has sunk so low.

The prisoners would probably prefer it to sink rather than live the rest of their lives on such a thing.

I am still skeptical about this story.

I'm sure the idea of being imprisoned forever even after you get acquitted is horror enough, not only for the prisoners, but for all the world knowing that our country does this.

The AP reporter says he got the info of her conceding from two top people in her campaign organization. They probably let it slip and it wasn't supposed to be known until the polls closed and the votes were counted tonight. I believe you are correct about the timing.

Allegedly there are private hearings where the classified intelligence is being reviewed so that the trial can be open to the public. But what the hell the American public knows little to nothing about this trial or the "alleged " spying by Rosen, Weissman and Franklin who supposedly handed over U.S. classified intelligence to Israeli Officials.
