i just read about the o'reilly
thugproducerwhore ambushing bill moyers and castigating him for not appearing on the o'reilly comedy hour.consider my anger piqued.
You know, every time I think about McCain and the rest of the Republican comments regarding Obama's willingness to hold talks with the Iranian leadership I think to myself "Are the Republicans really that chicken?" What I mean is, growing up and all throughout my military service if someone had a problem with you (and I could myself as one) you could bet they would be the first people to get right in your face to tell you about it. Sometimes it would escalate into a full blown argument which then turned into a shoving match. Other times, it turned into a fists are flying, fight. In each case though, people like that never needed anyone do the talking or fighting for them. If they had a problem with someone, they confronted it themselves. The people that had other people do the fighting or talking for them, tended to be viewed as weak. I'm sorry but that is and has been the way I view the Republican party for a very long time.
’Personhood‘ begins at fertilization?
Well, Colorado, why not just be done with it and legislate that every egg and sperm are endowed with "personhood"? Put little smiley faces on each one with survival logos...
Declare the Y-chromosome of every newborn baby a murderer of all the sperm who didn't make it in the race to the egg, require Affirmative Action for the slowpokes. Declare every woman a murderer who wastes her eggs by not becoming pregnant every time one comes down her fallopian tubes, or every teenaged boy with nocturnal emissions a murderer.
Come on! We know you can do better than the wimpy definition of when personhood starts.
This "City of Satan" thing - is it referring to the fact that DC is home to the Bush administration right now? Because if that is what he meant, I'll actually agree with him.
And McCain is going to change this exactly... how?
If you don't read anything else today, read the post at the link "Jesus endorses Obama".
I promise you will enjoy the hell out of it!

Okay, hang on and I'll go get the plunger.
anneyhussein @ 11:
LOL ... That was Great Anney ... We're all mass murderers by the idotic standards of the Right wing-bats.
The use of the term 'homos' is a pejorative. The call to kill anyone, is, or should be a crime. If you must repeat any of this lunatic's outrageous language, you would be more sensitive to employ quotes.
The upside of the story is that the lunatic sued the people whose murder he was advocating after they complained. Fortunately the Wisconsin Supreme Court concurred that the suit was frivolous, but a 4 to 3 vote doesn't offer a great margin of comfort.
Read the story and put the shoe on the other foot.
That would be something like someone calling for the murder of lunatic clergymen.
Just imagine how that would play.
There are some things McCain will change in the White House I'm sure. He will set up a section for a gambling casino, another section for his lobbyist friends, and a drop box for bribes.
anneyhussein @ 11:
good post
what was that quote from the 'most dangerous man in the world', the chevalier macgregor, the beast, aleister crowley:
(i paraphrase, and butcher the quote)
'i sacrifice 365 kids a year' (in other words, he is talking about masturbating)

That IS a good one.
I can see Crowley and O'Reilly putting a negative spin on an endorsement by Jesus. Priceless.
McGrampa continues to support the notion that Hillary is a B*tch.
Hillary supporters…..you still want to vote for McGrampa now?
via the "priorities" link, look what i happened onto:
The Other Mrs. John McCain.

he is quite the chump...
Democracy Now! will be presenting the confrontation between Fox "News" producer Porter Barry and Bill Moyers today.
is there a particular reason my comment has not posted, site mon?
McCain is a hard-line neoconservative who buys into Bush’s “preemptive war” theories abroad and his concept of an all-powerful “unitary executive” at home.
Dems must inform their Repug relatives of this fact and ensure McWar is never elected.
Gretchen @ 21:
I know. If it really happened this is exactly the way it would be played out. We all know the media's routine too well.
♠Bangkok-Bob♠ @ 20:
That's okay. I didn't hear most of what you said because I was putting away the plunger. So don't worry about it. Just glad I could help.
Bush is greeted with hostility:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2008-06-09-bush_reaction_N.htm
Joe O. @ 10:
Bush has no interest in resolving the Iran/U.S. conflict through diplomacy because the conflict isn't a real issue. There IS no conflict. It's all fake. It was created as a charade to justify taking over Iran's oil reserves and at the same time satisfy Israel's want for strategic and political dominance in the region.
The goal is regime change by force. It is not about reaching an understanding. It is not about Iran's nuclear program. It is not about Iran posing a threat, because Iran does NOT pose a threat.

The EU hates bush, so does western Europe, so does South East Asia, so does ... well, you get my point.
It's closing in on mid-night so I'm outta here.
Night all.
Jake Johnson @ 26:
4 years ago the reich-wingers were going out of their way to paint herr dubyah as the ultimate conservative, and because of that, he deserves re-election. Now, the reich-wingers are going out of their way to paint McGrampa as the ultimate moderate. Amazing how 4 years of conservative failures can change their bearings.
Reading the comment thread in Juan Cole's post was a trip.
Does this mean that a fertilized egg has the right to an abortion in Colorado?
Zygote abortions???
Most Hillary supporters need to understand that it was the GOP that destroyed Hillary from the very beginning. The GOP with Rove leaked press stories and information to drive up Hillary’s negatives even before she announced her candidacy. The GOP thought she would be the Democratic nominee and needed to destroy her reputation and define her image. That is why the initial press was so aligned against Hillary initially.
The real question is: Would Obama be good for America? The real answer: Of course not.
Dr. (terrorist fist jab) Matt @ 22:
If Obama is the alternative? Of course (that was easy)!
DC @ 38:
The Democratic Party should have thought of alll of these things before they HANDED the nomination to an unqualified person.
Jake Johnson @ 26:
If Obama is the Democratice nominee, McCain willl inevitably be elected. Period.
Pragmatist @ 42:
Sure. America loves men who call their wives c*nts.
Pragmatist @ 42:
Wrong Wrong WRONG!
McBain isn't gonna get anywhere near the WH except as a guest. Obama will totally whup him in the general.
