A little OT but not much. The other night BillO said he had asked everyone to conserve energy and they had done as he requested and it showed. So he wanted to thank them for doing as he had asked them to do.
So it wasn't the high prices of gas or anything else that made Americans pull back on their energy use, it was the request of the mighty BillO.

Ok! I took it and scored an 11/12 (91% better than average). The one I missed was about the Dow Jones. I don't know how I feel about that, but if I had to miss one and not be ashamed, that would be it. FOX has invented the punctuational equivalent of a SPORK. A symbol that could be either an exclamation point or a question mark, and has no function other than to send subliminal messages to hillbillies. It's only fitting that it should be called a Cavuto. (I see it's already in the Urban Dictionary. It should probably be in Wikipedia, too.)
I find it really ironic that the conservative movement made such an effort to reduce the American political discourse to a series of knee-jerk three word slogans, and while they were successful in that, they also ended up adding so many words to signify political dirty tricks to the American political lexicon. "Cavuto," "Swiftboating," "Watergate" (and the practice of adding 'gate' as a suffix to any political scandal), "Rovian playbook/tactics," "Bushed," to give somebody a "Dick Cheney." What are some others?
