Say it ain't so...

I know Obama is into reaching across the political aisle, but I doubt this is what he had in mind.

That's just a guess. The unlikely pair appear together on a button under Obama's signature campaign banner: "Change We Can Believe In."

But that kind of change is too much for anyone to believe in. Even if the conservative Idaho senator were running again, rest assured, Obama would not be lending his name to that reelection effort, or his face on an Obama-Craig button.

Suffice it to say, the button was a mistake. The button maker, Tigereye Design in Ohio, got the wrong Larry. The face they meant to put on the button was that of Idaho Senate Democratic candidate Larry LaRocco.

Hope this doesn't stall the campaign.

Another cunning plan to throw smelly stuff into the campaign.....

Now, that ticket would be a wide stance...

I find it to be a noble gesture and a productive political move....Obama advocates gay rights for all whether they be wingnuts or normal Americans.

I just got queasy.

Larry Craig: the Republicans won't take him, and he won't admit he's gay. With no discernable stance, wide or otherwise, on anything, he's a perfect Democrat.

HA!
I think Mr. wide stance should audition for dancing with the stars. They've apparently already asked dan quayle. XD

Is he also up to reaching under the stalls.....

That's what I was thinking. I mean, Larry Craig's probably a dem now, just like Foley. Right?

Good one.

Oh please let Quayle agree to be on dancing with the stars. I will actually watch it if he does.

You gotta give the company that made that button credit, they have majored in stupid.

Does this mean Larry Criag is a Democrat? Faux News thinks so. They put a D next to his name when he got busted. Ahh, you got to love Faux News and their Fair and Balanced reporting!

Did anyone see BillO last night? According to what I just heard on tv, he went off on Scottie because a few days ago Scottie said the white house gave fox news their talking points.

I actually did watch it a few times. Don't give a rat's ass about the stars or the dancing part. I'm rooting for wardrobe malfunctions.

wow...those buttons could be a fundraiser for the GOP...are they on EBAY yet?

cg's picture

Is it coincidence that the faux-pas involved putting on the most notorious of family-values hypocrites who got caught?

pissed off patricia's picture

I just heard on Hard Ball what happened. Scottie was on Hardball a few days ago and told Matthews the white house gave talking points to those like BillO. Later billO said he had never been given talking points by the white house. Today Scottie was on BillO's radio show and apologized and said he had made a mistake.
So I guess it's all good now.

Great idea! That's a huge demographic in America now-a-days. Wingnut hypocrites make up 90% of the GOP.

Heck of a way to advertise for Tigereye Design. I never heard of the company until now, but you can bet they will see an increase in revenue as more internet traffic is sure to find their site.

Not that anyone in this state likes McCain that much anyway. I've yet to see a McCain sign, but there's Ron Paul signs all over.

But people who do design for clients, SHOULD know the names and faces of people they are told to put on products, just basic manufacturing skill.
Of course if you outsource the design to some nephew, or girl friends kid in his bedroom design 'office', then you are asking for trouble.

McCain will be hanging out with the other dinosaurs at the Science museum.

Larry 'leisurestall' Craig will be the flying Dutchman of the GOP conference in September, his favorite bathroom stall was ripped down in Minneapolis, so nowhere to practice, forced to wander the corridors awailing and amoaning, clanking the relics ie basin plugs and chains.

The Young Repugs will be hanging out near the science exhibits booing and hissing at all the witchcraft and strange arcane 'science lies', chanting 4004BC

This is probably as bad as Obama's veep pick will actually be.

The Dems (not the sharpest knives in the drawer politically) have selected anemic, loser Veep nominations that do nothing for them for 20 years. They don't solidify a voting bloc, they don't complement the president's strengths, and they don't generate excitement, and lastly, most pathetically, they don't make the election a foregone conclusion. Unless Obama does something extraordinary, any excitement from the Veep noms will be McStains to claim.

I think you recall Dem Veep noms; Edwards (!), and my favorite Lieberman! For fuck's sake...Lieberman. That choice alone should confirm for you that Al Gore has his head up his ass.

It's definitely a collectible antique of the future, along the lines of the 'Dewey Wins!' newspaper headline.

That danger is not so much coming from inflation, but rather from the biofuel lobby's ill-conceived notion we can farm our way out of the oil crisis.
